Perfectly organized to enjoy breathtaking nature
My 3 days in the Danakil Depression has been one of the most amazing experience I have had exploring Earths wonders.
The tour was very well organized and structured so we could really enjoy full days, unforgettable sunrise on the salt lake and the rift and breathtaking night walk on volcanic lava. So unique!
Maareg our guide is very experienced, reassuring and so kind. He, with his team, were attentive as we explored the differentes natural sites, so I felt very safe during this tour. Also the food served was great!
I am very grateful for this wonderful experience.

The operator was Magnificent
The safari with Mellivora African Travels was really amazing. The booking and email exchange with Fransisca was really easy and he adjusted the trip to our needs and requirements until we had the perfect setup.
Also everything was organized well and our guide Elia was the best. He made sure that we see a lot of animals and knew the spots. He answered all our questions and it was a pleasure to spend the 5 days with him. He is also a really good driver which can help as there are some rough roads.
I highly recommend this company.

Leopard tours is first class!
We were a group of six that did three safaris in Tanzania Feb. 22-18th, 2025. Our driver James was awesome. He made our first safari experience exceptional! James was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the areas we explored. He was quick to answer questions and provided detailed answers. He was very personal and easy to talk to. He made sure we were looked after in each of the three hotels we checked into on our trip. He ended each day clearly communicating the plans for the next day and our start times.
When we were on safari he had an amazing ability to position us for the best views of the animals, even in crowds of vehicles. James was an excellent driver and made sure our ride was as comfortable as possible even on the roughest of roads. He represented Leopard Tours very well!

Accomodating, Friendly, Fun, & Knowledgeable!
We chose a four day private safari. Our guide Chris was fantastic! He searched out what we wanted to see and I think he was more disappointed than us when we didn't fine an animal! Hope was an excellent "chef" on the safari and kept us very well fed with the tastiest meals. Both Hope and Chris had wonderful personalities and we'd be honored to call each friend! This was an experience of a lifetime that far exceeded our expectations and left us feeling very spoiled!
We booked this less than a month before our safari date and there were a few miscommunications through email, but everything was resolved VERY quickly! We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a budget friendly awesome safari!!!

Our tour operators were attentive experienced, and flexible.
We did the Pakuba Safari tour with Silivia and Sa'adi that included a trip to Murchison Falls. It was amazing! Our tour guides were knowledgeable about the forest, wetlands, and wildlife. They know what times were best for seeing lions, giraffes, elephants, and so many others. They were flexible in picking us up from Kampala and driving us on the long trek to the site. They were intuitive enough to know when rest stops and lunch breaks would be most welcome. They focused on safety while giving us the best access to the most wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

The planning began with Herman, who did an outstanding job of tailoring the trip to fit our interests. He made sure we would experience the best Tanzania had to offer, while still allowing us plenty of time to savor the adventure without feeling rushed. Laban was generous with his time and always eager to share unique experiences, and he even taught us about the local language and culture, showing his genuine passion for educating us and making our trip more immersive.
African Sunrise Travel truly stands out as a tour operator. Their 4x4 vehicles were in top condition, clean, comfortable, and reliable. We appreciated the air conditioning during long drives, which is a rarity in most safari vehicles, and the specially designed windows and pop-up roofs ensured perfect views throughout the journey. One memorable moment was when our guide set up a full picnic with a tablecloth, plates, and a hot, multi-course meal—something far beyond the typical boxed lunch offered by other safari groups. We felt fortunate to have such a remarkable experience, which truly set African Sunrise Travel apart from other operators.

Isaac is amazing
Our driver and guide, Isaac, was absolutely fantastic. He knew where to find animals without relying on radio communications like some guides do. At Nakuru Lake, we had a close encounter with white rhinos, and in the Masai Mara, we saw the Superstar Oloshipa family and even witnessed lions mating - all with our vehicle being the only one present. His knowledge of animals was extensive, and he always shared interesting information about the wildlife we encountered. His driving was both swift and steady, and he constantly scanned both sides of the road for animals while driving. Throughout the entire journey, he took excellent care of us. Thank you, Isaac, for making our safari perfect, for making my dream come true.

A short hop from Zanzibar
We flew from Zanzibar into the dirt airstrip in Mukumi early in the morning. The safari guides were waiting to take us off animal spotting. The guides were excellent at judging the animal movements and got us very close to them. We enjoyed the landscape, an open plain ringed by mountains in the distance. Also included was a very good hot lunch. A short browse on the safaribookings site was all it took to find our preferred option (Imara Tours - recommended).

Reliable and friendly people
Thanks Emil. We are a couple from Thailand 🇹🇭 Lion Safaris help us with the tour. We stay at Ruzizi tent which is perfect in the middle of the park, fantastic food and staff. Gorilla 🦍 trekking is unforgettable. Over all we have a great time 🙏
