Review about Murchison Falls National Park by Dinton K
Overall rating
5/5

Murchison Falls National Park is home to a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, and crocodiles. Game drives on the northern bank offer classic savannah safari experiences with high chances of sightings, especially during the dry season.

Review about Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by Dinton K
Overall rating
5/5

Bwindi is home to almost half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, making it one of the most important places on Earth for gorilla trekking. The experience of tracking gorillas through dense rainforest and observing them up close is widely considered life-changing.

I would rate Budongo Forest as an excellent and highly rewarding tourist attraction, especially for nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, and adventure travelers. It stands out as one of Uganda’s premier ecotourism destinations and a must-visit for anyone exploring the western part of the country.

Often called “The Pearl of Africa,” Uganda has breathtaking landscapes that range from snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains to rolling savannahs, lush forests, crater lakes, and the mighty River Nile, the world’s longest river. Visitors can enjoy stunning scenery in national parks like Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, and Kidepo Valley, each offering unique ecosystems and unforgettable views.

An Unforgettable 10-Day Adventure with Usaka Travels
We had an incredible experience with Usaka Travels, spending a total of 10 days with David and his wonderful team, including a Mt. Meru hike and a 5-day private safari. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine warmth.
Mt. Meru Hike:
The entire hiking crew was exceptional. The guides, ranger, porters, and cook were all incredibly supportive and encouraging throughout the trek. Their teamwork and professionalism really stood out, and they made sure our whole family felt safe, motivated, and well cared for every step of the way. A special mention to the porters and cook—true unsung heroes who made the hike comfortable and enjoyable.
5-Day Safari Experience:
We did a private 5-day safari covering Tarangire, Serengeti (2 days), Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. The itinerary was very well planned, and the accommodations at Siafu Lodge and Kenzen Lodge were excellent—comfortable, clean, and relaxing after long game drives. The food was consistently great, which was especially appreciated since we are vegetarians.
David and our safari guide/driver Douglas were phenomenal. Game drives can always be a bit hit or miss, but both guides were extremely patient and went out of their way to ensure our safari was enjoyable and memorable. They made every possible effort to help us spot all the animals and truly cared about our experience.
Overall:
The private safari was absolutely worth it, and spending so many days with the Usaka team felt like traveling with trusted friends rather than a tour company. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and heartfelt experience in Tanzania—whether hiking, safari, or both—I highly recommend Usaka Travels.

The Ngorongoro Crater day trip was unforgettable. The crater itself is massive and teeming with wildlife. I loved the balance of active game drives and moments to just admire the scenery. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience smooth and engaging. I feel so lucky to have seen rhinos, elephants, lions, and more in one place.

They were very helpful and accommodating. The most important thing for me is flexibility, everything was planned and scheduled around my needs and requirements. I will most definitely recommend them.

We had an amazing trip with Beyond the Plain Safaris! The drive to and from Nairobi was smooth, and our stay at the Mara was absolutely fantastic. Although we didn’t spot all of the Big Five, we were thrilled to see three of them!
The serene, breathtaking Savannah terrain made the experience even more memorable. Overall, it was a wonderful adventure, I just wish we had seen more game.

Fuhara Safaris customized a trip that allowed us to witness the wonder of Victoria Falls with visitors from around the world — and have unspoiled vastness of the Okavango Delta all to ourselves (in addition to time in Chobe and Elephant Sands). The Fuhara team responded promptly to all our questions in planning the trip and made all the necessary arrangements to work within our budget so we only had to worry about learning phrases in local languages to thank our guides. We were excited to work with a woman-owned small business run by Victoria Falls residents in partnership with others in Botswana and elsewhere. Our safari experiences were varied and extraordinary, from private game drives in open jeeps and both small and larger river cruises that brought us face to face with wildlife of all kinds, to local expert-led game walks that shared intimate details about the animals, land, and people. Our accommodations, from well-appointed lodges to wilderness tent camping with no running water or electricity, brought us into contact with remarkable animals in their habitat and even by poolside. We learned so much and saw so much. We had the opportunity to get to know warm, knowledgeable, caring people and learn from and alongside them. It was an experience of a lifetime that we’ll never forget.
