Excellent, met all expectations
5/5

We chose the 6-Day Stunning Tanzania Adventure private tour and it was amazing. Our guide David adjusted to our schedule as needed and tried his best that we get the most of the safari. He was knowledgeable and very good driver.
The lodges chosen were breathtaking.
Only downside was that they forgot to send someone to pick us up at the airport as had been promised, but was then sorted out.
Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional Safari Experience with Alex – Lapwing Safaris Kenya
5/5

Our 8-day safari with Alex was outstanding. He was not only punctual and professional, but always one step ahead, ensuring to take us to the best spots to see nature at its most magical – from simply watching birds at a watering hole to driving out early to catch lions lounging on the roads.

His extensive knowledge of wildlife, especially birds, greatly enriched our experience. He was also incredibly patient, giving us time to absorb the scenery and quietly observe the wildlife at our own pace. Safety was his top priority, and he genuinely cared for our well-being, including when we faced a small health emergency.

He conducted game drives with deep respect for nature and the animals. Not least of all, Alex is truly great company – we enjoyed chatting to him about wildlife and Kenya immensely both out on game drives and on the long roadtrips between parks.

If you're looking for a top-tier safari guide, Alex is the one to ask for!

Incredible
5/5

Myself and my partner went to South Africa just before Christmas and were unsure who to book our safari with. We didn't have an endless budget so had limited options and ended up choosing Tourgy, who were fairly priced and had great reviews. Wow, we were not disappointed! Emmah who runs Tourgy Tourz walked us through our safari journey and ensured we had a bespoke experience within our budget, making sure every detail was covered and facilitated every change of plan. Not only this, but she also helped plan my proposal which I am eternally grateful for because it was beyond my expectations. The safari itself was absolutely incredible, we saw everything and more and genuinely couldn't have asked for a more perfect safari. Dennis was our tour guide for the 4 days we were there, he was extremely friendly, knowledgable and always arrived on time for our trips. I honestly cannot recommend Tourgy Tours and Emmah enough, they work tirelessly to ensure you have the best possible experience and it really did surpass all expectations. Thank you again!

Well planned and thought out trip, but underestimated travel times
4/5

We had a great time booking through Splendid! Our guide Mwololo was attentive, experienced and kind, and really helped us relax and get into the safari spirit. We were able to cover 4 national parks and also complete a hike in just 6 days! An added bonus was seeing all of the big 5 which I cannot thank Mwololo and splendid enough for. The trip was designed perfectly to our budget and personalised requests, the accommodations were all clean and safe and comfortable, and everywhere we went the people were so friendly! We would definitely use splendid again. The only complaint we had was the driving times between parks was underestimated for pretty much all the drives, so we spent more time commuting than we had anticipated.

Above and beyond!
5/5

If you’re looking for a travel agent who truly goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Elizabeth Revelation African Safaris. From the very beginning of our trip planning to the moment we returned, she was incredibly helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly.

Even when we faced flight connection issues (which was the airline’s fault, not hers), she handled everything seamlessly, making sure our transfers and arrangements were taken care of. She was also extremely patient with all my questions—I’ll admit, I can be picky—but she exceeded my expectations in every way.

The entire experience felt like a dream, and I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. I’ll definitely be booking future travels with her, and if you want a stress-free, perfectly planned trip, I highly recommend you do the same!

Natural World Kenya Safaris took our deposit for a safari never taken& unethically not returning it.
1/5

I paid 12,328 USD to Natural World Kenya Safaris, for family holiday in April 2024 as they wanted 40% deposit.
It was a booking deposit for an upcoming trip this July, 2025. I had very little email communication after paying the deposit, and no response to our phone calls to them.
When I emailed the individual accommodations in Kenya we requested during our safari stay, I received emails back from them confirming Natural World Kenya did not reserve any accommodation for us.
I asked that our deposit be returned, well over the 150 days prior to trip and with in T& Cs.
After numerous emails/phone calls to Natural World Kenya Safaris, I did receive an email, from D****, that they would process a refund.
But we have not received our 12,328 USD from them. Nor any contact back from them.

I reached out to the KATO Ethics and Standard Sub committee, regarding non-delivery of services. Natural World Kenya Safaris has been suspended from KATO membership on account of violating the Code of Conduct for Members. And we have been referred to the Tourism Regulation Authority (TRA) and will pursue this legally against the company.

A very unethical company, one could ask is this fraud. A scam? Gangster like activity? if you book with them you will find out.
( Please note the date of "when do you go'' is date of deposit , not date we went on safari, as we never did go-full disclosure)

Reliable - Honest - Great Knowledge - Communicative - Responsive - Best resort selection
5/5

Overall my trip went superbly well. Great memories and awesome execution by Splendid Vacations. My route was Nairobi Airport < Masai Mara < Central Serengeti< Southern Serengeti with balloon safari< Ngorongoro Crater < Amboseli NP< Nairobi Airport

I was a solo traveler from USA and skeptical on booking this trip due to new country/continent and new people. My assistant was Rachael. She was amazing throughout the journey by staying in touch the entire trip and before with my itinerary/planning. I would definitely recommend if you are planning for Africa.

What went well:
1. Drafting my itinerary with rates.
2. Resort selections and services were excellent. Rachael understood my requirements well and provided best resorts.
3. Great tour guides with punctuality and knowledge about area.
4. Vehicles provided were in good condition

Learnings: Something that I learnt and would like to pass.
1. If you are vegetarian, do carry some food for the trip. I carried some dry snacks and food for game drives because I like snacking while having fun in forest.
2. Plan well and share your interests about which location is important for you. The park passes are on day/hourly basis. If you are looking to spend more time in one park, say, Ngorongoro crater you may have to check-in late at the entrance. Something that you should talk before making bookings and tour guide will guide you according to your interests.
3. Climate could be harsh, so plan your trip likewise. I generally travel places in shoulder months to avoid tourist crowd. It worked well for me in Feb.
4. Plan you day ahead with your driver/travel guide to make best use of your day and places you want to cover.
