Extraordinary
5/5

From the beginning to end Pembury Tours was amazing in helping me plan an unforgettable holiday in SA. From giving recommendations, scheduling and answering all questions they helped me every step of the way. We just wrapped up the best holiday of our life in the most amazing country I have ever discovered. My tour organizer was Kerry and she went above and beyond for me from day 1. I highly recommend Pembury Tours to help plan your holiday in SA. I also highly recommend a Safari at Arathusa Sabi Sands, this place was a hidden paradise perfect for a traveling couple to escape. I'm forever thankful for this trip and this company for making it happen. We will return and work with Pembury tours again!

A Spectacular trip to Uganda
5/5

It is difficult to express in words the feelings one experiences being within a couple of meters of some of the few remaining mountain gorillas on the planet. Add to that the 7 hours with a group of Chimpanzees in Kibale, 100's of hippos (together with 62 elephants) in the Kazinga chanel, 2 game drives in QE National Park, discovering the awesome beauty of Uganda and the kindness of its people, and you have one of the most spectacular trips ever.
Encounter Africa Safaris was, without doubt, a professional and caring group of indidivuals from my first email. We quickly came to an agreement based on what I was interested in, and the business was taken care of in a quick, simple and professional manner.
Arriving in Entebbe after a long trip I was met by my guide, Tolbert. Being together, alone, for 7 days proved to be most enjoyable. Tolbert is not only gifted as a guide and driver, but also has excellent social skills. He didn't "drown" me in information, responded expertly to all my questions, and had an excellent sense of timing for his comments, and observations. Always professional, and personal when appropriate.
The choice of accommodations met my expectations with one exception. Tolbert and I discussed this, he offered to move me, but it wasn't so terrible that I had to make a move. I know that the company will consider other options for other guests in the future.
What was most surprising to me on the trip was the quality and quantity of the food! All of the lodges/hotels (save the one mentioned previously) offered top of the line meals. I would say the quality was equal to many European city restaturants (if not better), and the quantity equal to the largest dishes served in the great state of Texas (where EVERYTHING is large!)
To conclude, I give Encounter Africa Safaris my highest recommendation and will definitely use them again on my next trip to Uganda. What a gem of a country. And Tolbert, you're a great guy, a great guide, a great driver, and I'm pleased to say a friend. Continued good luck and success to you all.

Botswana Tour
5/5

We had great expectations about this trip but this were exceeded by far. Anza in Go2africa had arranged a 8 days safari to Botswana starting in Maun with flight to Tau Pan camp. After two nights we fly to Pom Pom camp and from there to Kwando Lagoon camp and finally to Elephant camp in Zimbawe. All the camps were perfect with nice tents and managements. The top and most elegant was Elephant camp. Every camp had top guides who spoke perfect English and knew a lot about the area. We saw the Big Five except for the Rhino. The weather was beautiful and we had only rain one night. Thanks again to Anza in Office for a great tour and a lot of good and useful information in front of the tour. We will recommend this Company to our friends in Norway.
A last tip: We found out that 2 Nights stay in each camp was enough, then you get both morning game rides and evening game rides.

A Wonderful Experience
5/5

We did a four day private safari with Bestday safaris (three adults and three teenagers) and had a great time. Our guide Godi was very knowledgeable about the animals. Everything was well organized, and all three lodges were superb: Eileen's Tree, Rhino Lodge, and our favourite: Ikoma tented camp.

An awesome 10 day self-drive camping safari in Northern Namibia superbly organised by Rose!
5/5

A massive thank you to Rose and her team who organised an awesome trip to Namibia for L and I. Everything ran like clockwork and we had such fun exploring the country and camping along the way. I highly recommend this type of trip to anyone with a strong sense of adventure and independence. The country is extremely safe, we saw some absolutely stunning scenery, tonnes of wildlife and the weather was perfect. We covered over 1,900km in 10 days and our land cruiser never faltered. Of note, we were overjoyed to be able to listen to lion roaring all round our campsite on three of the nights. We were also lucky enough to see wild dog as well as a lot of lion and cheetah. I would return to Namibia in a heartbeat. Thank you Rose! x

Wonderful experience beyond my expectations that almost felt like being LIVE in National Geographic.
5/5

If I was to give a title to the whole experience, I would call it "Arrival Before Departure". Sounds vague, does it? Well, at least I will try defend the title by narrating my experience.
To some extent I felt like I was already at the national park and yet I had just gone for the safari bookings at Big Time Safaris Ltd. The friendly atmosphere created in the not so big office was just the beginning of the whole adventure. And soon the D-day was here... but wait, did they call to confirm how far we were? Oh yes they did. This was going to be one of the best moments of my life. My Honey moon. I had indeed arrived to my destination even before departure.
And for some moment, while waiting for the other tourists to arrive, since all the people we were to travel with had already arrived, I kept wondering if this was worth it. Would it meet my expectations? Would it be that I was looking for something that I couldn't find.. you know.. like looking for a needle in a haystack? Well, the answers to my questions started flowing promptly like the waters in River Mara immediately the driver who happened to be the tour guide showed up and our journey began. He was so friendly and knowledgeable that it felt like were already at that wonderful scenery that was was well described during our conversations.
Although it was a long journey, it didn't feel like it maybe because the transport van was spacious and not normal. By that I mean it did not feel like it does when one travels in a public transport, the feeling of rough roads, bumps e.t.c.
And finally the most awaited moment arrived. Late in the evening, when the sky had opened to let loose tiny droplets otherwise known as drizzles, we were there, at the camping site. Surprised? Don't worry I was too at first. But then before the twinkle of an eye, I just confirmed that i needed not be troubled. I also realized that one does not need to marry a prince for them to become a princess, ceteris paribus.
Warm welcome, wonderful food prepared by the management at the camping site and the number of people I saw there, families, friends, tourists, all visiting the place for different reasons was just amazing. And as if that wasn't all, I entered the tent that my hubby and I were to camp in and i was really astonished. Has anyone seen a tent with this wonderfully set/made bed, restroom, with shower... just try to picture an hotel room. I had gone camping once in my life but no time had I ever seen such thing. Maybe it wouldn't surprise you but for me, I was. And one of the craziest experience I remember while in the tent was when i was trying to have this warm, me-time shower when this ice-cold water was released from the shower-head and I stood there frozen like a statue. But that was before we called the management who helped us turn the heater on.
Am sure all of us want to hear the Game drive part. Well, here it comes. I know most of us have watched National Geo on their TV sets. Allow me to say that during the whole experience, It felt like being there. With all the wild animals being in the open and not in closed cages and the best experience ever...I saw one of the 8 wonders of the world...you heard me right...WILDEBEEST MIGRATION.
Need I say more? I don't think so. All I can add is that it really felt sad when my tour days were over. But do not forget that that I had arrived even before departure and so this should not be an issue to me.
My appreciation to the Big Times Safaris Ltd crew, the Mara rangers and management at the camping site. You indeed made my Honeymoon the Best it could ever be.

Unforgettable trip and a really great team
5/5

In case anyone is wondering why Im writing this review 20 months after our trip its because my original review on trip adviser was removed as I have Kili brothers as a facebook friend....and they must not like that!
For anyone thinking of climbing kili I can definitely recommend George and his company. Like many we did a bit of research before choosing what company to go with and we found the feedback from Kili brothers the most helpful and informative. George runs a well organised outfit and we were very impressed with every aspect of both our climb and our safari. We had Robert as our main guide and found him the be excellent and always in control of what is an operation that requires quite a lot of logistics...we were a group of 4 and we had a total of 17 men with us...thats a lot of equipment and food to get up a mountain! George jr was our assistant guide and chief entertainer. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had. I also have to mention our cook Sirli...what a fantastic job he did....we really did not expect the level of food he turning out each day.
Without going on too long here its fair to say that our group was 100% satisified with Kili brothers and credit them for making the trip one to remember for a long long time.
