Raymond African Safaris—unforgettable adventures, breathtaking wildlife, and a guide who feels like
5/5

I can't say enough great things about Raymond African Safaris and the man behind it, Raymond himself. I first met Raymond when he led a safari for me and my friends, and what started as an incredible guided experience quickly turned into a lasting friendship.

From the moment we set out, Raymond's deep knowledge of the land, wildlife, and local culture made every moment unforgettable. He has an uncanny ability to track animals, and thanks to him, we witnessed some of the most breathtaking sights—majestic lions on the hunt, a massive herd of elephants up close, and even the elusive leopard lounging in a tree. Every day felt like a scene straight out of a documentary, only better, because we were living it.

But what truly sets Raymond apart is his passion and warmth. He doesn't just lead safaris—he creates experiences that stay with you forever. Whether it was sharing stories around the campfire, explaining animal behavior with incredible detail, or making sure we always felt safe and comfortable, he went above and beyond in every way.

If you're considering a safari, do yourself a favor and book with Raymond—you won’t just get a guide; you’ll gain a friend and memories that will last a lifetime.

Great value for money!
5/5

I thoroughly enjoyed the safari, great value for money. Our driver was Solomon (he's a contractor for the agency), a great guide and guy. I felt he was going the extra mile so that we will have a good experience and I feel I got way more than I was expecting which is always a good feeling to have. The camping, Sankale Mara Camp, was great as well (at this price) with clean accommodation (tents with bathroom and shower) and good prices for drinks (no wifi tho, I had an eSIM anyway, and limited electricity, but enough to charge devices). Better to pay cash for the tour, to avoid the card surcharge: there's an ATM across the road from the agency (they took me there) which didn't charge me any fee. Although I'm not a big fan of tipping I was happy to give at the end as I was both satisfied with the service and mindful that more than half of what I paid for the tour went to park fees. Unless you are a big animals buff, 3d2n tours are enough for Maasai Mara. I'd also recommend going in low season, unless you are particularly interested in the great migration, as even in this period my feeling was that there are many safari cars in the park, I can't imagine how crowded it might be in high season (plus the fact that the park fees is double). We had great weather at end of March, just a few drops of rain in our second day in the evening.

Unforgettable Safari Experience.

Our safari with Nyange Adventures through Lake Manyara and Serengeti was incredible! We saw so many animals in their natural habitat, and the expertise of the guide made each moment more enriching.

Be aware that Balu does not run some of their groups and you may end up moved to others tours
2/5

Balu offers reasonably priced safari experience, but note that they act as more of an intermediary broker rather than an operator. They place you with other tour operators and so consequently you may end up getting shifted around one or more times to different joining groups/ vans during your trip. That does mean the max pax as set out in the booking and the itinerary may well change depends on what group you end up with- just be mindful of the flexibility that’s required when booking with Balu.

First class gorilla trekking experience.
5/5

Gorilla trekking in Uganda was a bucket-list experience, and Nile Abenteuer Safaris made sure it was everything we dreamed of and more. The trek through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest was challenging but so rewarding when we finally came face-to-face with a family of gorillas. Our guide’s expertise and sensitivity towards the animals made the experience even more meaningful. The accommodations were equally impressive, offering comfort in the heart of the jungle. We were well taken care of from the moment we landed in Uganda, with seamless transfers, delicious meals, and warm hospitality. This trip was life-changing, and we owe it all to the excellent planning and execution by Nile Abenteuer Safaris.

About: Tanzania
Incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience I'm sure will never be topped!

5/5

We had an amazing time on our safari in Tanzania. We visited Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro! We went in March, so it was off-season, and it was incredible. We only got rain 1 day, though rain was predicted for several. The weather was warm and sunny most days, hot and sunny one day, and rainy and cold one day.
The wildlife we saw was incredible. We didn't go during the migration, but we still saw so many amazing animals and tons of babies! We didn't see predator activity (possibly too hot), but still did see predators. We didn't get to see Crocodiles or Leopards on our trip, but many people we met said they saw leopards! We were jealous.
The people were lovely. Very welcoming and always willing to help out. The roads were dusty on dry days and a bit bumpy, and windy to Serengeti and Ngorongoro (take meds if you get motion sickness!). But, our tour truck provided cushions on the seats and that helped so much. Hardly noticed the rough conditions most of the time.
We want to go back!

Great experience. Sam ,from Kalahari tours ,is a Botswana diamond. Friendly, knowledgeable and engaging making the beautiful scenery of the Chobe that much more appealing. The people we encountered served us graciously and made sure we had more than we needed. From border entry to exit, our trip was a bucket-list experience.

About: Tanzania
Amazing
Overall rating
5/5

Thanks to Safari Booking, we were able to find an incredible provider (See Endless Adventures) who organized an incredible 6-day trip to Tanzania (Safari + 1 day on Kilimanjaro). We have no words to describe the incredible adventure we experienced as a family, our two children, aged 5 and 8, and our friends and their children.

The national parks are magnificent, nature in its purest form and in all its splendor. We were able to observe all the animals we dreamed of (especially the Big 5!!) in a breathtaking setting, accompanied by extremely kind and incredibly professional professionals (guides, drivers, hotel staff).

We are avid travelers, but this trip truly left a lasting impression on us!

Dishonest company
1/5

I strongly do not recommend SCB Tours & Travel, run by Solomon. Several months before my planned trip to Uganda, I paid the full amount (over $3000) in advance. However, just one day before my flight, I received an email stating that the originally booked lodges and hotels had withdrawn their offers. I was then asked to pay an additional $2700—almost the same amount I had already paid—to proceed with the tour.

I was given three options:

1. Pay the extra amount so the tour could go ahead as planned.

2. Postpone the tour until he has more money or the prices dropping.

3. Receive a full refund.

Since I had already booked additional flights after my Uganda safari, postponing was not an option. Paying nearly double the agreed price was also out of the question. So, I chose the refund. However, more than 2 months later, I am still waiting for my money! I keep getting excuses and delays. Even when I requested a partial refund, my deadline was ignored.

I strongly advise against booking with SCB Tours & Travel. From my experience, this is a scam. I also reported then at the Ugandan Tour Board (UTB) to request that this company should be removed from their list of registered operators.
And i have also Made a Report at the Police at Kampala!
