Well organised & incredible experience
Cuan and African Ubuntu were a pleasure to deal with. Cuan provided all the options and made recommendations that were perfect for our group.
The safari tour was awesome and the camp itself surpassed all expectations.
For any person or group seeking to arrange a trip to Africa, I highly recommend Cuan and African Ubuntu.

One of the best safari tours I've done
Awesome! I was a solo traveller and the company provided me with a great driver who spoke excellent English....Mr. Xavier.... and was very knowledgeable about wild life, history, culture of Uganda. He is a great guy who was excellent in every possible way. Always on time, the 4 WD was clean and tidy, kept me entertained and informed about everything. Excellent and safe driver. Attended to all my needs even without asking.
The hotels were great...Sapphire, Kampala...a bit off the road but the food was excellent. Huge rooms with all amenities. Haven lodge in Bwindi...omg...awesome! Simba safari camp...fantastic and great staff! Igongo, Mbarara....the best ever....5 star...great room, food, shopping....truly amazing.
Gorilla trekking was hard but I am proud to say I did it! Photographed a family of 12....14 km hike up steep slopes. Queen Elizabeth park was good but animal density was rather low. But Mr. Xavier showed me the salt making area, fishing village, crater drive and a very secret little twin lakes off the regular track. had an awesome experience with local kids...bought books and stationary for the whole village! I am very happy...Thank you Xavier. Jinja was great....the Begining of the nile...omg....my dream came true! Cruise on Kazinga channel was awesome....plenty of wildlife...elephants, Hippos etc. etc.
Finally the company....Ms. Hajarah was not only efficient but was super quick and made the ideal trip plan for me. Thank you Hajarah....You are great.
The smoothest trip ever....I have been to 53 countries, mind you! Traffic in Kampala was terrible but Xavier and I got a lot of time to chat about everything from politics, history, culture, family etc. etc. He made everything look so awesomely easy! Great travel companion. Excellent driver not only in the wilds but also in the city! Thank you all at Simba! You will always be on my mind.

Experience of a lifetime with abundant wildlife sightings
African Ubuntu Safaris were great to deal with via email. Cuan would always promptly answer all my questions, and I did ask him many questions! The transfers and flights were all arranged to perfection and the guides and drivers that we dealt with, whilst in Africa couldn't do enough to help us out. The safari itself was fantastic and the animals that we saw were amazing, way above our expectations. The balloon flight over the Serengeti and helicopter flight over Victoria Falls were some of the best parts of the holiday.
I would not hesitate to recommend African Ubuntu Safaris to anyone wishing to experience amazing Africa
Amazing service, amazing cuisine, amazing everything!
I was at a loss trying to figure out how to plan a low-key (i.e., not thousands of dollars) safari to Kruger, and thankfully came across Shinzelle ... Brandon and Danielle are so friendly, knowledgable, accommodating -- he's an official guide and knows everything about the area; she's an accomplished chef who will make your every evening one to remember (including the outdoor braai and tastes of different parts of South Africa). If you're looking for a one-stop shop (i.e., even from Jo'burg) that promises an amazing experience (or even if you're just looking for help for one aspect of your visit, whether it's a game drive, visit on the Panorama Route, accommodations, etc), look no further. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Review about Tarangire National Park by Tonya Herron
Everything is here. Wonderful first experience of a safari.
Amazing tour in Nairobi National Park with BigFoot
Amazing tour in Nairobi National Park. The tour its self was incredible, from the national park, seeing lions straight after a hunt, to watching the orphaned elephants play and feed, to feeding giraffes and holding a baby crocodile.

Wonderful experience for my mom and I
This is the only safari I have been on, but we found it to be life changing. The animals, the people, the culture were all more than we could have dreamed of. We felt safe and well cared for by our locally owned guide company and would do it all exactly the same!

South Safari Tanzania
We grew up with the lion king, so our expectations for a safari were very high. But they were met, thanks to Grassroots Safaris and its crew! Everything was well setup, we had a blast to every game reserve we visited. We slept well, the food was delicious and everyone was kind. We had the chance to see rare species and to learn about wildlife! Our guide Henry (the Eagle Eye) was very resourceful and well connected with rangers and other guides so that was very helpful to get lucky during the game drives. By far the best and most exciting trip of our life. Definitely worth it!

WOW! If your thinking of going on a Safari don't think any more. Make it Happen you wont regret it.
African safari has been on my bucket list and something my dad and I have always wanted to do. We chose to go in August during the dry season hoping to see more animals around watering holes. We Booked through Nyasi Adventure. Robert was great with email communication and making sure we got our flights and hotels arranged. He listened to what we wanted to get out of our Safari and made a seven day itinerary for us. Robert responded to my every email within 24 hours.
We landed and took a taxi to our hotel where we spent our first night in Del mar. Our safari was a private tour with my dad and I in a 4WD photographic pop-up roof safari vehicle. Our first guide Davis who spoke very good english. Davis picked us up from our hotel and we started our drive to the Selous game reserve where we stayed at Selous Hippo lodge. Everyone was very friendly and the food was good. We arrived at the lodge in time for lunch and then took time to get settled. Later in the afternoon we took a two hour boat safari with a guide from the lodge through the Rufiji river where we were able to see Crocodiles, hipos, and many species of birds. We also learned some African history. Two hours was just the right amount of time on the boat. We went back and ate dinner. We always had plenty of food and the food was always amazing.
Next day we ate breakfast at 7AM and then Davis our guide took us out on the Selous game reserve where we spent the day. We took a box lunch so we could stay out and see more animals. We saw so many animals which included Lions eating a recently killed Giraffe, Buffalo, giraffe, elephant, Zebra, etc. In the Selous game reserve we were able to see a diversity of wetland, dry grass land, and light acacia forest. Im not sure if the game reserve opens earlier. It would be nice to be able to be out on the reserve when the sun rises. But that may be difficult to do when staying in a lodge when breakfast is scheduled.
We ended up not having a third day at Selous or a half day walking safari the fourth day which ended up being just fine. We ended up catching a flight out early on our third day to Serengiti National Park. We were greeted by Frank who would be our guide for the next five days. We opted for the tented camps/lodging option which was perfect for us. The weather was cool and our tent included a bed, flushing toilet and a warm shower. Frank was very knowledgable about the African history and wild life. He was amazing at always making sure our vehicle was in the perfect location to get the best photos. We were able to see most of the animals that were listed in our guide's book. We were able to see five Cheetahs, Over a 100 lions with several recent kills, two Servals which are hard to find, two Rhinos which are also difficult to find, Several Leopards with recent kills, a lot of elephants, Zebras, Hundreds of giraffes, cape buffalo, Crocodiles, hyenas, impalas, wildebeests, Hartebeest, Thomson's and Grant's Gazelle, bush buck, water buck, mountain reed buck, baboons, monkeys, warthogs, dwarf mongoose, Damara Dik-Dik, Eland, Kudu, and many others. We also saw many bird species. Frank could spot things other guides would just drive by. The weather was cool in the mornings and evenings which was refreshing. Food was always good.
Our sixth day we went to the Ngorongoro crater where we spent the afternoon. It is the 8th natural wonder of the world. Animals seemed to be more concentrated here. After a half day in the Crater We then drove to Ngorongora lodge which was beautiful. Our last day we traveled to the Arusha airport. As we traveled we visited with our guide and he stopped at small shops along the way to get souvenirs. We flew out and arrived back in Dar where Robert picked us up and took us to our Hotel.
Over all this was an amazing trip. I could have not planned it better myself. Everything went smoothly. Everyone went out of their way to make our trip memorable. I would definitely recommend Nyasi Adventure for your future Safari without any hesitation. They will plan the perfect Safari for you. Don't wait any longer if your thinking about a Safari you wont regret it. Go to their website directly which helps them avoid additional advertising fees. Robert and Davis will take great care of you.

"The greatest happiness on earth is sitting in a saddle of a horse"
I spent the second time on a ten day horse trail with the Namibia Horse Safari Company and once again - it was fantastic.
To experience such fascinating landscapes on a horseback is pure happiness, like the German expression
"the greatest happiness on earth is sitting in a saddle of a horse" ( Das größte Glück der Erde ist auf dem Rücken der Pferde).
It is just fun with the well-trained, balanced and well-kept horses to go on a super organized trail, where no wishes remain open.
To see the amazing sunset while sitting at a camp fire with nice people and sleeping on a field bed under the stars made this trip an unforgettable experience.
You will want to go there again. :-)
