About: Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe was amazing, despite the political situation.

Well, I was there as a contestant of a Wildlife show, of Animal Planet, so everything was well arranged for us. We stayed in Hwange at 'the Hide', that was fantastic!
It was a very dry part of the year, what made it a bit easier to spot wildlife because of the few waterspots that were left. The Hide is a great place to stay, with great service and food and good guides.

Review about Lion Sands Game Reserve by Airboat Afrika
Overall rating
5/5

Lion Sands remains an all time favorite. Best location (in SA), best architecture, best service, best food. They are so alarmingly friendly. Oh, awesome game, too.

Review about Kruger National Park by Airboat Afrika
Overall rating
3/5

Kruger has its lovers and haters, but it is the most awesome self-drive wildlife destination due to its sheer size and variety. Though you do have to put up with lots of regulations, and plenty other road users. Not all of them mechanized...

Review about Kapama Game Reserve by Airboat Afrika
Overall rating
3/5

Kapama boasts accommodation of various types, but the overall size of the reserve and the road running through it mean you inevitably "hit" the fence. There's a bit of a "Jurassic Park" feel to all of it, and the rangers tend to be very young, lacking a bit of experience.
