I can’t say enough about this exceptional tour! What made it so special was our amazing guide and now forever friend, Lambs !! Not only was he knowledgeable about every land animal and the birds, he was so much fun to be with! Made me feel like I’ve known him my whole life. My husband and I travelled to Uganda with tour agency Deluxe Vacations as part of our honeymoon and let me say that Godwin organized the trip of our lives.

We explored Kibale Forest, where we had the amazing chance to track chimpanzees — seeing them up close, in their natural habitat, was exciting, emotional, and surprisingly moving. From there, we went to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we enjoyed stunning game drives and saw elephants, buffalo, hippos, and so much more.
But the absolute highlight was the gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. That moment — standing just meters away from a gorilla family, looking into their eyes — was beyond magical. It was one of the most powerful, humbling experiences we’ve ever had.
None of this would’ve been the same without our incredible guide, James. His knowledge, calm energy, and deep love for Uganda made the journey even more special. We always felt safe, cared for, and truly connected to the places we visited.
