Christian was very knowledgeable and helped us find every animal we were looking for. We had a close up view of the big 5 and we were also positioned perfectly in order to see the entire wildebeest river crossing from start to finish.

Lulu was excellent at communicating and finding a safari that matched what I was looking for. They were able to accommodate a change in the booking so I could join another solo traveller on the same safari. They went above and beyond to help me find some clothes at a local market in Arusha before the safari started. The 6-day camping safari was incredible value. We saw the big 5 and my highlight was spotting 3 different leopards. Our guide Machete shared lots of knowledge about the wildlife and ensured we left with more than amazing photographs. He quizzed us throughout the safari on what we learned so we could remember all the flora and fauna fun facts even after leaving the Serengeti.

He took the time to understand our needs and budget, and then created an itinerary that was perfectly tailored for us. A very special thank you to Maurice, our guide in the Masai Mara. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and environment, and always shared fascinating insights that made every game drive exciting and educational. His sharp eyes helped us spot animals we might have missed, and his calm, professional manner made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout.
Our overall experience with the safari was excellent, and Maurice played a big part in making our time in the Masai Mara truly unforgettable.

I've just returned from an incredible honeymoon in Zimbabwe organised by Clyde at Tailormade Africa. We couldn’t be more grateful for our experience with Clyde, his attentiveness and attention to detail from the initial planning to the moment we returned home. Clyde offered fantastic advice, tailoring our trip to include the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure across Hwange National Park, Zambezi National Park and Cape Town.
The safaris themselves were beyond our expectations. The accommodation options were beautiful, wildlife encounters unforgettable, and the level of care and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. The travel logistics were just as impressive — porters and drivers waiting for us at every stage to fast-track us through security and assist with visas, making the journey smooth and stress-free.
We were also impressed with the safety and health awareness in Zimbabwe. We were mostly located in relatively remote locations and low-density accommodations; with high hygiene standards we felt at ease and had no health concerns whilst in Africa. Everyone in Zimbabwe was welcoming and friendly, which added to the sense of comfort and security throughout our trip.
I would highly recommend Clyde and Tailormade Africa for anyone looking to explore Africa in a truly personalised way. We will be back in a few years :)

Having a good tour operator is very crucial for a good safari experience, we were definitely in good hands with Axis safari. Sir Charles, our guide, is very informative when it comes to animals and wildlife, a highly professional driver, gave us best views when spotting an animal, with plenty of time to take enough photos and enjoy the moment. He is very friendly was very attentive to our need. I highly recommend Axis safari as a tour operator for an unforgettable amazingly mind blowing safari experience, specially with Sir Charles as your guide.
