Amazing… well worth it.
We booked a 2 day safari last minute so we were very apprehensive and didn’t quite know what to expect. However, Arnold completely took care of everything from flights and transfers to the luxury accommodation. He even took the time to check in on us at the hotel.
The safari itself was fantastic we had the most amazing experience from start to finish,we saw so many animals and our tour guide Silva was brilliant, he was such a nice guy, he made us feel safe and he was so knowledgeable about the animals and all areas of the parks.
I would highly recommend Major Treks and Safaris.

Thank you Suzzy
My family had a fantastic Kenya and Tanzania safari holiday organized by Epic Star Holidays.
Suzzy answered all our emails proptly and the price was good compared with other agencies. We also got an upgrade in Serengeti to Kumbukumbu Luxury Tented Camp. We were lucky to see the Wildebeest migration.
Thank you Suzzy and for sure we'll be back with friends.

Easily the best experience of my life
Apologies as this will be a long review, as I tend to write a lot. The 11 day safari with Shadows of Africa easily was the best trip of my life. First, let me start with Karen. Karen treats you like she's been your friend for a long time that just happens to be a safari specialist as she's extremely personable and clearly wants you to have the best possible experience. Despite being 10 hours ahead of me, she responded to any and all questions I have within minutes and I question if she ever takes a break. Throughout the whole process, she has been amazing...Karen, if you read this, I can't thank you enough. My other notable tour specialist was Frank that handled everything in Tanzania. Frank...Frank is on top of everything, literally calling me the second we got to the Tanzanian border, giving us suggestions on how to tip, what to do, and literally was on top of everything in Tanzania. Also, Frank is extremely genuine as well, following up daily regarding how things are going, what we love(d), and is again is just on top of everything.
Secondly, the guides. Our first guide was George who clearly has a ton of experience in Masa Mara and Kenya, and was on top of where to go and was on top of where all the animals were. George is very nice guy and on day 2 of safari I was elated on the experience he gave us and also can't say enough great things about that man. Our second guide, Charles Joseph, is younger, super enthusiastic, and is obviously very proud of his country and loves sharing whatever he can about Tanzania as well as anything related to plants and animals. Also, after traveling with him for a week I'm seriously impressed on how he can remember where everything is throughout such a massive area without a map, as I need GPS to go across town. We did have a transfer, Nickson, great young kid who is also enthusiastic about his town and country; hope his pig farming business goes well. Lastly, our last guide, Martin, friggin pro at everything Amboseli, suggesting good photo shots of Kilimanjaro, animals, and again, extremely knowledgeable about the region.
Lastly, a far as the accommodations and food, everything was top notch. We did do the 11 day tour and the nights in Masa Mara and Northern Sarengheti were in raised tents, but the staff more than made up for it as, how often in your life do you see lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elephants, etc...
My only one real suggestion is if you do plan on doing the 11 day tour, if you're looking for gifts, wait to go to the large shop in Arusha as they by far have the best prices for souvenirs, as the local shops outside Masa Mara are kind of a rip.
To finish, we loved our safari and if/when I come back to Africa, I will be sure to contact Shadows of Africa as they went above and beyond.

Absolutely amazing!
Our trip to Kenya was truly AMAZING! Especially thanks to Mr.Newton and Kefa! It was our first time in Kenya and doing Safari tour so I was a little worried at first, but Kefa was super helpful. Kefa helped me with the itinerary and despite the time difference, he always responded in timely manner and gave me all the answers! I got to meet Kefa before our tour started and he saw us off, and that was nice! He also checked in during and after the trip as well! Our Safari guide was Mr. Newton and he is the best! He was very knowledgeable and also very caring and kind and funny. We couldn't have asked for a better guide to spend our 6 days with. He always explained what the plan was, and also asked if we were ok and what we wanted. He also educated us about the animals, birds, and places we got to see, and we saw so many animals and birds! It was amazing how many animals we got to see in those vast parks and it was all thanks to Mr.Newton. We were amazed how he can find all those animals there. He also got us snacks and he even treated us with orange juice made from fresh oranges! There was lots of driving, but Mr. Newton was always so sunny and helped us stay in good moods. My dad was very impressed with Mr. Newton and he was so happy we got to experience this trip. We really had a wonderful unforgettable experience!!

We felt nature’s gift to our love story
Our beautiful journey in Kenya with Nature Insight Safari. We were lost in the midst of a vast animal world in the bosom of a heavenly nature, and we understood from a very close perspective how nature maintains its balance.
The beauty of Nairobi National Park came alive with my girlfriend by my side. We drove slowly, soaking in the sight of elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes roaming freely. She held my hand as we admired giraffes walking across the savannah. At the picnic spot, we shared a quiet meal, surrounded by birdsong and nature’s calm. The stillness made every moment feel intimate and special. Watching lions resting from a distance gave us both a thrill. As the day ended, the glowing sunset wrapped everything in warmth. It was more than a trip-it was a memory stitched with love.

Communication before and during the trip was smooth, fast, and easy, giving us peace of mind from start to finish.
We highly recommend Africa Big Cats Safari to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable adventure in Tanzania!

Easy communication, professional and reliable.
We booked our 9 day safari and 8 day Zanzibar tour through Tales of Tanzania 1 year before our trip.
Pendo was so easy to communicate with, every question and modification to our itinerary was never too hard. Pendo was prompt and quick to reply (allowing for time difference). She made booking our dream honeymoon so easy and put any worries we had at ease.
We paid via Wise transfer which was the easiest method from Australia.
When we arrived at Mt Kilimanjaro airport where we were met by our lovely guide, Peter. The next day Pendo and her sister, Yasinta met us at our hotel and provided details about our itinerary and what to expect.
We started our trip in Arusha before heading to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater with our incredible guide, Peter.
Peter was so generous with his knowledge and is very passionate about his work and the animals.
Pendo booked us into beautiful accommodation, with incredible views and delicious food. Our first morning we woke up to two elephants walking past our room which was so special.
We then travelled to Zanzibar and had 5 nights in Nungwi, laying by the beach and pool. We then had two nights in Stone Town. Pendo arranged us day trips to the spice markets, ocean safari where we snorkelled in the clearest water and enjoyed a seafood BBQ on the beach and learnt about the history of Zanzibar on a guided walking tour. She also arranged for us a private sunset cruise on a traditional dhow to celebrate our Honeymoon. This was such a special touch.
We absolutely loved our holiday that Tales of Tanzania created for us. If anyone is even considering a safari I would highly recommend you do it. Tanzanian hospitality is the best in the world, we felt so looked after and cared for. I wish we could do it all over again!!

Vision met our budget needs and gave us the adventure of a lifetime.
Booking safari can be intimidating, from when we first reached out to Vision to get quotes it was clear Vision lives up to its motto “We Cherish Visitors”. From that first contact they were responsive to all our questions, text messages, phone calls, they were open to negotiation, and more than accommodating as we finalized our travel plans and itineraries in the months, weeks, even days before our safari.
Vision booked us a 6-day adventure around Northern Tanzania visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. At each hotel and tented camp we stayed at the staff was always so welcoming and we have no complaints about the buffet meals in the lodges. Our guide/driver Jacob was kind, funny, and managed to make each day an exciting new adventure. Vision checked in with us during the safari and on our final day in Tanzania one of their drivers took us around to visit Serval Wildlife and the Chemka Hot Springs, both such special experiences after a such a special trip. Shoutout to Gloriana!
