Very friendly and approachable
The team at Baboon Budget Safaris was very friendly and approachable. The entire safari was awesome and we did a lot of sightings on our game drives. Apart from this, they went out of their way and helped me out to get few other things in place for my Kenya trip which wasn't even their job, but they still helped. Over the course of planning, we went through nine revisions to fine-tune every detail—and every single change was handled quickly and with patience. Just days before our departure, I was unexpectedly hospitalized for nine days. During that stressful time, Anitha continued to check in with genuine care and compassion. When it came time to reschedule the entire trip, it was completely seamless, with no hassle or extra stress. That level of support meant the world to us.
The actual safari portion of our trip exceeded every expectation, thanks largely to Gaspar, our guide for the mainland portion. Gaspar is an expert in the Serengeti—his knowledge of the land, wildlife behavior, and even the smallest backroads is extraordinary. Within just hours of starting our game drive, he had already tracked down four of the Big Five, including three leopards and multiple groups of lions. His ability to spot animals from great distances was unbelievable. But beyond his expertise, what stood out most was his care—he drove safely and respectfully, ensuring my elderly mother was always comfortable throughout the journey.
The itinerary offered by Golden Trips Tanzania—Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, and finishing with a relaxing Zanzibar beach stay—was the perfect balance of adventure and tranquility. Committed to providing the best experience
We went on a 12 day Tanzania tour starting end of May. What an amazing experience it turned out to be. We (family of 4 including a 10y and a 14y kids) decided on Tanzania as the destination for our next big vacation. After going through numerous itineraries, tour operator reviews and forum discussions on TripAdvisor we finalized a 12 day photography and migration safari by African Big Cats Safaris(ABCS) . The itinerary was finetuned to our preferences by Mr William Frank and once finalized we prepared for the tour with valuable inputs from Ms Naomi.
Mr Immanuel the manager of the company met us on the first day of the tour and explained the itinerary in detail and set the tone for the tour with his passionate description of what to expect on each day of the tour. From then on the wonderful tour was carried forward by our guide Mr Lovoi, a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable man. Who just knew where to find each of the animals. He would explain the characteristics of every bird and animal we came across. There was never a dull moment with him and he kept us fully interested in the safari for 12 days.
All the accommodations provided were great in care and comfort.

Our adventure to Africa started from a recommendation of relatives who had used Pembury Tours in the past. We are seniors and wanted the best value for our travel dollars, but really wanted a new , fresh experience , preferably outside of Canada-but not North America. I was dealing with major issues so my girlfriend took charge. With Gail's guidance, suggestions and knowledge of local practices, the two of them created the best trip ever.. We had no issues. Tours were met on time, accommodations were interesting (one used to be a prison) and top notch, culinary offerings were unbelievable and so good, and the local hosts, guides and drivers were wonderful. Our first of 3 safaris was an experience I will never forget. Our Ranger and Tracker had knowledge that was freely shared and their mutual respect for the animals and the flora was unmatched. Our safety was evident, even in the confines of the Lodge itself. Arathusa Lodge are amazing ambassadors for their homeland! All of our regional carriers and drivers were on time and very helpful. I would recommend Airlink to anyone travelling within the continent. We saw so much, we were busy- but not pushed to exhaustion- and we all so appreciated absolutely everything Gail and her support people had to offer us. The price was fair and affordable and excellent value. We had experiences no one would put a price on. Thank you Gail for everything!

Best in class for wildlife
I do wildlife photography as a hobby and Albert from Serengeti Smile was able to customize a trip for my family with all the hotspots for animal encounters. Our guide John, a pro-level spotter cared a lot for us and Albert did the extra mile to find room for us in our favorite lodges despite them being fully booked. We travelled with a 3 generation family and everything came out to be above expectations. Best deal in town.

Unforgettable Safari with a remarkable team
We’ve had one of the most unforgettable experiences in our first safari in Tanzania thanks to Kibo Mawenzi, absolutely everything we experienced exceeded our expectations.
Communication with Brian was excellent from the very beginning, he was always responsive to our needs and setbacks. Our flight was delayed by two days and there was no issue at all in postponing the safari. His flexibility, availability and ability to meet each traveler’s needs are truly remarkable.

The three guides we had during our 5-day safari - Luttiba, Omar and Silas - were impeccable. Their kindness, experience, and professionalism made it possible for us to spot animals even before many other groups. They gave us plenty of time to take photos, appreciate the animals and learn countless facts about each one.
The chefs were fantastic. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious and abundant. They adapted to our vegetarian diet and prepared delicious hot meals even during the safari, when many other groups were eating from picnic boxes.
The experience itself is breathtaking, but the people who make up this company made it even more memorable. Asante sana!

A Truly Unforgettable Safari Experience with Hyrax Safaris
My wife and I went on a private 5-day safari in Kenya with Hyrax Safaris in June 2025, and it was nothing short of spectacular.
From the outset, communication with Rose was seamless and prompt. Her professionalism and the competitive pricing were key reasons I chose Hyrax over the hundreds of other companies out there — and I'm so glad I did.
Our guide and driver, Ben, was simply outstanding. His tracking skills were top-notch — on several occasions, we were the only vehicle at sightings of elephants, cheetahs, and lions. We were often just a few feet away from these majestic animals — I’ll be sharing photos to show just how close we got. Thanks to Ben, we saw the Big Five and countless other species. It was a wildlife experience beyond anything we imagined.
The accommodations were excellent, with a special mention for Nakuru Sopa Lodge — and Lake Nakuru itself was a hidden gem. We honestly wished we had more time there. Our time in the Masai Mara was unforgettable, especially the hot air balloon ride — truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Although our time in Amboseli was short, it was still incredibly rewarding with numerous elephant sightings and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
I wholeheartedly recommend Hyrax Safaris — their service quality, well-curated hotel selections (even the mid-range options were fantastic), and of course, our phenomenal guide Ben.
Having traveled to over 35 countries, I can confidently say this trip ranks among the very best. It will remain etched in our memories forever.
