Excellent experience, with high professionalism!
5/5

We had a beautiful 4-day safari with Suricata and couldn’t have been happier with how everything was organized. From the moment we arrived, Mr. T (Twalbu) gave us the warmest welcome and made us feel right at home. Everyone from the team was extremely friendly, helpful and always in a good mood.
Mr. T was always available for anything we needed — whether it was related to the safari or just small things along the way.
Our guide Lewis was absolutely fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable — we came prepared with a lot of questions, but he had detailed answers for everything without exception. It was impressive how much he knew about the wildlife, the parks and the local culture. Thanks to him, we learned so much and had so many unforgettable moments.
The accommodations were also very good, especially the first night at Suricata Boma Lodge — it was even better than we expected.
If there’s one thing we would change, it’s that we only booked 4 days. Next time we would definitely go for at least 5 days and ideally 7 days to have more time in the Serengeti and maybe even witness the famous river crossings.

Thank you so much to the whole Suricata team — we’ll definitely be back!

YYDS! -Meru Slopes turned our honeymoon into a fairy tale trip.
5/5

Our honeymoon in Tanzania exceeded everyone's expectations in the most magical way. When our flight was delayed by one day, they easily rescheduled our whole trip without missing a beat-their crisis management was impeccable.

Personal touches make us feel different: fresh roses when we arrive, "just married" decorated with striking red letters on our jeep, and the sunset on the Serengeti grassland. Our guide remembers some small details, for example, every time he starts and stops the vehicle, he will confirm whether we are seated properly and will not move the vehicle rashly.

In addition to excellent service, they also created some moments to make you feel the authentic Tanzanian customs and personal charm. We not only saw Africa, but also experienced Africa through their professional skills of caring for others. This is not just a trip; This is the beginning of our love story with Tanzania. We will come back one day in the future!

Great experience and organization from this agency.
5/5

It was our first time in Kenya and the trip was everything we hoped for.
Our guide Joe was super helpful and made sure we could see as many animals as possible.
We visited Masaai Mara, lake Nakuru and Amboseli park.
People from the agency team were very helpful at all times, we had to change the dates for our trip due to unforeseen circumstances and they were able to accommodate our trip without any issues.

Great adventure
5/5

Salé, an exceptional, friendly, thoughtful driver led us in search of the animals of the savannah showing all his experience in offering us the best views.
Food and hotel were always perfect... Maybe, only in one case not at its best

Unforgettable Safari Experience – Perfectly Organized from Start to Finish
5/5

Our safari with African Big Cats Safaris was an incredible experience from beginning to end. Everything was perfectly organized, and the communication before and during the trip was excellent – always clear, friendly, and professional.

What truly made this safari unforgettable was our guide, Festo. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation – he was also an exceptional person. Warm, respectful, thoughtful, and calm, he guided us with great care and attention throughout the entire trip. We always felt safe, well looked after, and deeply supported in our curiosity and excitement.

Festo's passion for nature and animals was contagious. Thanks to him, we were able to witness breathtaking moments, learn so much, and truly connect with the environment around us. We are incredibly grateful that he was our guide – we could not have imagined a better person to share this journey with.

We give African Big Cats Safaris the highest possible rating and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience – especially if you're lucky enough to have Festo as your guide!

Amazing gorilla safari
5/5

Thank you for an amazing experience! We will remember this for life!

Everything went so smooth, and thank you for your fast replies.

The only comment, we have was that the 10 m distance were not kept. We believe our guide let us closer with good intentions, but for us we would have preferred to keep the distance for the gorilla’s sake.

Thank you once again!

sorry to rain on everyone's parade, but our experience dealing with Clyde was not satisfactory
3/5

We travel to Zimbabwe in June. From the get go, we said we are flexible with our dates. In the preplanning we were not given an option to fly from Joburg to Chilo Lodge, instead, we lost a day and a half and around $1000.00 , Clyde sent us from Joburg to Harare, staying overnight, and taking a charter flight back south to Chilo.
The option to fly directly to Chilo was discovered by me later in the planning, when according to Clyde dates could not be changed, which was a false information.
All the camps we stayed in, indicated that dates could be changed.
Clyde arranged a transfer between Chilo and our next camp at Chesakwe by road (4:30 hours of torture) which we could have instead flown (were told by the driver). That option, again were not given to us.
when the guest house in Harare were mentioned, I requested a change to another place, which was granted.
Closer to our departure, I discovered that Clyde booked us back in the guesthouse without consulting us.
All these unfortunate planning, took away a lot of the pleasure one has in participating in a safari , no matter which country you visit.

Everything was just as wonderful as the reviews said.
5/5

We chose Camptrek Safaris at first because it was recommended by a friend, and it also had great reviews online. While discussing our itinerary, Rose, the coordinator, was very willing to help us make adjustments. Everything we wanted to do was perfectly arranged by her.

Once we arrived in Kenya, the team at the agency took care of everything, allowing us to start our journey smoothly and comfortably. Throughout the trip, our driver Ben took excellent care of us. Although the drives were long, he always made sure we had enough time to rest and provided plenty of water. The vehicle was new and clean, and even with six of us in one car, it was still very comfortable. We especially appreciated that Ben cleaned the car every day — we really liked that detail.

During the trip, Rose continued to check in on us regularly, so we never had to worry about anything and could simply enjoy the safari experience.

We are truly grateful to Camptrek Safaris for their thoughtful arrangements in helping us fulfill our dream trip to Kenya. Highly recommended!

It's very very very good!!!!
5/5

Our driver Albert has extremely skilled driving techniques. He took us galloping on the grassland, allowing us to see various animals at the first sight, and safely arrived at the destination. Thank him for his company along the way. Regarding accommodation, everyone must try to book a better environment according to their own budget. The Safari journey is very hard, with early departures and late returns every day.

What a great introduction to Africa and Kruger National Park
5/5

I forget exactly how but we met Kallie online and began emailing back and forth with her to learn more about what we might be able to do and when and how and everything else we did not know - we knew next to nothing. Kallie answered our questions in detail and we made plans with her about what we would do on which days and at what times etc. When we arrive in Hoespruit Kallie and Keegan met us and we went right to our first "drive". We spent time each day with Keegan going here and there and learning more and more about Kruger and Africa and all the wildlife we got to see. Keegan knew the animals and birds and took time to explain things. He showed us things like animal footprints and which animal it was and which way they were going - tracking. He knew places to go and things to do. Both Kallie and Keegan did everything they could to make our visit the most enjoyable. And can't say enough about how nice they were to us. Wish we weren't so old or we would do it again.
