6-day, 5-night Tanzania+Kenya safari package
We booked a 6-day, 5-night hotel safari with Castor from Nature Excursion Safaris, and overall, our experience was mostly very positive.
What impressed us most about Castor and his service were:
1. Castor is very nice, honest, and reliable. All arrangements were made via online chat, and everything promised was exactly delivered — no bluffing or excuses. What we agreed on was what we actually got.
2. The vehicle provided was in excellent condition. It had a distinctive green exterior and was well-maintained inside with amenities such as tissues, a trash bin, and charging ports. During the entire 5 days in Tanzania, the car had no mechanical issues.
3. We chose a mid-to-upper range hotel safari package. Compared to other agencies offering similar itineraries and accommodations, Castor’s price was more affordable — about $2400 USD per person, which made the trip very good value.
However, our last day was on Kenya side, Castor handed us over to a local Kenya guide, and unfortunately, that day was so disappointing. The car was too old and lacked basic comforts such as water, a fridge, binoculars, or even a trash bin — it felt more like an empty taxi than a proper safari vehicle.
More seriously, just 40 minutes after leaving the border, the Kenya guide’s car broke down on the C103 road (far from Amboseli), and we were standing on the road for one hour. During this time, the driver left to find help and disappeared, leaving 4 of us alone with 3 Maasai strangers without explanation in advance. This made us feel quite anxious and unsafe.
While we highly recommend Castor and Nature Excursion Safaris for the Tanzania portion of the trip, potential travelers should be aware of the Kenya side’s arrangements and communicate clearly with Castor regarding who will be guiding and the quality of vehicles provided.

Thank you so much to our guide, Martin! He was incredibly responsible—when I injured my toe, he immediately took me to the hospital and helped me get treated as quickly as possible. His driving skills were excellent, and his experience really shone through, guiding us to see so many breathtaking sights.
A huge thanks to Nevill as well!He was extremely reliable. Since my friend and I arrived separately, he handled two airport pickups without hesitation. My friend arrived in the early hours of the morning, and Nevill went out of his way to arrange early hotel check-in, ensuring our safety and comfort.

Abdi and Steve were exceptional safari guides—knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about wildlife. Abdi’s calm expertise and Steve’s sharp eye made the game drive unforgettable. They worked seamlessly as a team, blending education, adventure, and a lot of fun. From tracking elephants, lions, etc.. , they made the experience feel both personal and magical. Highly recommended!

Amazing safari experience
Our recent safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara with Vision Safari Tours was nothing short of spectacular, and a huge part of that was thanks to the staff of the agency!
From the moment we started, Stanley wasn't just a driver; he shared insights about animals and landscape we encountered. His ability to spot even the most camouflaged wildlife was truly astounding – we saw almost everything we dreamed of as lions hunting, dozens of elephants, jackal, hippos etc.
We had some awesome picnics out in nature, and at parks with breathtaking views and great food. As for where we stayed, the safari accommodations were top-notch, to be upgraded just the one in Arusha. On top of that, Vision Safari even took us on an interesting tour of Arusha, which was a nice surprise. Then, on our last day, we did a wonderful trek to some waterfalls and visited Serval Park where you can feed the animals – that was a truly unique experience! Ultimately, all of this was possible thanks to Vision Safari's super attentive, ever-present, and incredibly kind organization, thank you Shebbie and Gudilah!!Seriously, they're highly recommended!

"A beautiful introduction to the animals, the land and the people of Tanzania!
We had never been to Tanzania before. Sky View Adventure organized everything for us in a way that really enabled us to experience life in and around the Serengeti. Sky View Adventure couldn't do enough for us. They took care of all the arrangements, the communications, accommodation so that we could focus on the animals and the land. A big plus was our driver/guide. He knew so much, taught us so much and was as excited as we were to see the animals even though he is native to the region and has done this hundreds of times. We will go back again and will happily book through Sky View Adventure. I am so glad we went with this smaller company.

decisive, excellent treatment and trustworthy
From the very beginning, they helped us with everything and were attentive to our needs. It's a trustworthy local company. We had delays, but we fixed them so we could still enjoy ourselves. We went on a three-day safari in Chobe in a tent, and it was great and highly recommended. They also picked us up at the airport and took us to the waterfalls, the helicopter, and shopping... very, very good. I would repeat with Africa Zim and recommend them.
