A perfect honeymoon!
We had such an incredible honeymoon, organized by Kathi at African Welcome Safaris! From the very first communication, Kathi took into consideration our preferences and ideas and tailored an itinerary for us. She paced the trip so that we could enjoy every moment, but still fit in all of the activities that we wanted. The tour guides she selected were knowledgeable, kind, and the safari lodges were stunning. We have so many memories that we will treasure forever! Very Informative and Charming
I did the 7 day Machame Route to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro with 5 of my friends and it was an absolutely incredible journey! The route was challenging but very scenic, with breathtaking views and diverse landscapes every day.
We made it to the top together, and the feeling of standing on Africa’s highest point was beyond words. The guides and porters were amazing, the campsites were well organized, and the entire experience felt safe and well supported.
I can't wait to do it again this time with my parents. Highly recommend this route for anyone looking for a perfect mix of adventure, nature, and achievement!

Samwel was our driver and he was absolutely fantastic
We came across Savannah Explorers on Safaribooking.com. We wanted to do a trip that combined both a safari and a few days in Zanzibar. Savannah Explorers were able to accommodate both. Both our booking contact and driver (both Samwel) were absolutely super. Nothing was ever too much hassle. Our accommodation was a mix of lodges and tented camps whilst on safari and both were perfect. Samwel brought us around to see lions, rhinos, giraffes, elephants, the wildebeast migration - the works! His knowledge of all of the wildlife, plants local culture and history was fantastic.
