Wonderful
5/5

A reputable company that met our expectations and resolved some issues at two lodges. Our guide, Clasus, was attentive to our requests, very friendly and entertaining, and tries to make sure we could see as much of him as possible. We werej able to see the Big 5!

Great
5/5

Safari was an absolutely incredible experience that I will never forget. From the moment I stepped into the African wilderness, I was completely captivated by the raw beauty and untamed energy of the land. The vast savannahs stretched endlessly before me, dotted with acacia trees and herds of grazing animals. Every day brought new wonders—whether it was witnessing a pride of lions lounging in the shade, a majestic elephant family strolling across the plains, or a herd of zebras crossing the river with perfect synchronization. The thrill of spotting the "Big Five" was indescribable, and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and their behaviors. The sunsets were nothing short of magical, painting the sky in hues of orange, pink, and purple, while the stars at night were so bright and clear, making me feel incredibly small yet connected to the universe. Safari is more than just a trip; it's a journey that reconnects you with nature and leaves you with a deep appreciation for the beauty and fragility of our planet. It truly is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that everyone should experience at least once.

Raheem Mwema is an experienced, gentle, nice guy who offers a great service for us
5/5

Jungle Roam is recommended by many Chinese in Red Book, and that's the reason we chose it. After 8-day's safari, I believe the choice was perfect since the service is very good and the price is reasonable as well.
Raheem Mwema doesn't talk actively during the trip, but he can always find the animals and the best place for photo shootting in the first time. And during the trip, we changed the schedule twice, and he can always shows great patience and gave useful suggestions, which helps a lot.
The only regret is 'cycling in the Hell's Gates' is not satisfying because there is too much dust which makes me hard to breath and the view/animals there are just normal. Maybe Crescent Island would be a better alternative option.

The conditions were very comfortable however a lot of things didn't go to plan
4/5

It didn't start well when we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport at 04:00am and our Tour arrived at 07:45, when he was booked to arrive at 06:00am. He excused himself with the fact that there was an accident, but we soon understood that wasn't true, as he we was contradicting himself, and we saw no accident on the way.
The tour began and even though we saw some great animals and he made a big effort for us to see the Big 5, throughout the day there were really no explanations about anything. Everyday, he kept telling us to start around 09, and it was us pushing to start at 07 and the reason for this is that after 11 it's very tricky to see animals doing anything besides lie in the shade.
Gosheni organizes the meals with the hotels, so no sandwiches or anything like that which is great.

One topic we didn't like, Michael was constantly on his personal phone about personal issues, we know it was personal because when it wasn't he would tell us (happened once). Given that he is driving having him over 1 hour on the phone wasn't very comfortable. He has great knowledge of the park but needs to really manage this side better. He used the phone way to much for someone working.

In terms of the car, it's a comfortable Land Cruise, in our Cases the plugs they have installed didn't work, and the fridge didn't work for 2 days.

Four wonderful days in nature
5/5

This 4 day trip was a dream come true. On the first day at Lake Nakuru, we saw the white rhino and the rare Rothschild giraffe. The crowd of birds in the lake and the pink flamingos are a sight to behold. The next day the experience of passing by a hippopotamus in Lake Naivasha by boat was thrilling. On a safari on Crescent Island, I saw zebras, impalas, and gazelles - all from close quarters. The Masai Mara area was very spectacular - the lion, the cheetah, the jungle kingdom. The entire trip was well-planned and organized.

AMAZING TRIP! 10/10
5/5

We just finished our 6-day safari with Meru Slopes and we’re honestly so sad it’s over. It was truly a once in a lifetime experiance and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Florian and Gift.

We booked the safari through Gift Tembo, and everything was incredibly smooth and friendly from the very beginning. All of our special requests were taken care of with such thoughtfulness – including a surprise birthday celebration that turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of the whole trip.

The airport transfers were perfectly organized and on time.

Every accommodation recommended to us was absolutely beautiful, clean, safe, and full of warm, welcoming people.

And then there’s Florian – our amazing guide. He made sure we felt comfortable at all times and went above and beyond to fulfill every wish we had. He found the best photo spots while always keeping everyone’s safety in mind – both ours and that of other travelers.

All in all, it was a 10/10 experience. We felt supported and cared for every step of the way.

We’ve already recommended Meru Slopes to friends and family – and we absolutely can’t wait for our next safari with them!

Asante sana! 🧡

Excellent recommendations for an unforgettable trip
5/5

Indigo recommended several options for our trip, and we finally decided on Umkumbe Bush Lodge for our 3 night safari - it was an incredible unforgettable experience, the lodge itself was wonderful with great amenities, excellent food/drinks, and great tour guides. We saw all of the big 5 along with countless other wildlife, and I would highly recommend the whole experience.
