Dedicated and very knowledgeable
5/5

We had an absolutely amazing experience in the Masai Mara, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Tom! From the very beginning, Tom made it his personal mission to ensure that all six of us had the best safari possible — and he delivered beyond expectations.
His knowledge of the park and wildlife was incredible; he seemed to know exactly where to go and when. Thanks to his sharp eyes and dedication, we were lucky enough to spot all of the Big Five — something we’ll never forget!
Beyond being an excellent guide, Tom was friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone was having fun and getting full value from the experience. Every drive felt like an adventure with a friend who truly cared.
If you’re planning a safari in Masai Mara, I can’t recommend Tom highly enough. He turned a great trip into an unforgettable one

Our safari was indulgent, seamless, and full of wonder.

We just got back from our 10 days classic luxury journey in Tanzania with Herbivore African Expeditions, and honestly, we're convinced we were living our best lives out there. We explored Tarengire National Park, Serengeti National Park and the legendary Ngorongoro Crater.
We started at Tarengire National Park. Our guide was fantastic knowledgeable about wildlife, he explained very much about animals behavior. Then Serengeti game drives were basically a nonstop game of spot that animal, and . We saw elephants doing chaotic elephant things, zebras blocking the road like traffic cops, and hippos who looked constantly annoyed with us. Ngorongoro our last stop. We saw the Big Five without rushing, with a guide who truly cared about wildlife and our experience. Herbivore African Expeditions made our whole journey very comfortable and amazing.

We spend four days in the safaris and were positively suprised how well everything was organized. Our quide was able to speak english very well and told us a lot of information about the nature and animals in the Serengeti. Our quide's name was Ringo. I would definately book with this company again!

My safari adventure to Kenya with Mournic Adventures was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, making the trip stress-free and enjoyable. The highlight was definitely the Maasai Mara, where I experienced breathtaking wildlife sightings and stunning landscapes. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured we had the best views of the animals. Every detail—from the accommodations to the game drives—exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Mournic Adventures to anyone looking for an authentic, exciting, and well-planned Kenyan safari experience. Truly worth every moment!

We had the best anniversary with the pure nature and amazing wildlife of Tanzania.
5/5

Our first anniversary trip to Tanzania was absolutely extraordinary. Everything was perfectly organised by the Goldfish Tours. All the arrangements were very beautiful. We explored Tarengire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
Our adventure began in Tarangire National Park, where elephants seemed to welcome us personally. We learned so much about their behavior and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the park. Then we headed into the world-famous Serengeti. Nothing can prepare you for the freedom and beauty of those open plains. Every hour brought something new - lions, gazelles, buffalo, and birds we'd never seen before. The highlight came on the final day when we reached Ngorongoro Crater. The view from the rim already left us speechless, but being inside the crater was even more astonishing. Rhinos, zebras, hippos, etc all live together in a paradise protected by ancient crater walls. It was a perfect celebration of one year together. Asante Sana 🙏

Efficient, Trustworthy and Flexible beyond compare. Thoroughly satisfied with ETA Safaris
5/5

Don't look any further for a very trustworthy company. Compared to what UK tour companies were charging us, ETA is the best out there and gave myself and my Fiancé a dream safari holiday between Kenya and Tanzania. Derrick, our main contact, was thorough from beginning to end and when needed, could be reached very easily which was highly reassuring. ETA is a local kenyan company and they took care of everything from the moment we left the airport, transfer to and from Tanzania as well as logistics within Tanzania. They did the hard work so we could just focus on our holiday. Please don't look further than ETA for your African Safari needs

Best time in Tanzania ❤ Best anniversary time
5/5

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary with a safari in Tanzania, and honestly Kibo Mawenzi Safaris made it perfect.
Our 5-day journey took us through Tarangire, Serengeti, and the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, each destination offering something beautifully different. Our guide made sure every moment felt special and meaningful. We enjoyed delicious meals, cozy rooms, and plenty. Tarangire amazed us with its peaceful scenery, towers of baobab trees, and the friendliest elephant herds. The Serengeti was pure magic - endless plains, graceful giraffes walking beside us, and the excitement of finding lions lounging in the tall grass. Watching the sunsets there felt like witnessing art created by nature itself. This anniversary trip reminded us how beautiful life is when shared with someone you love. Tanzania has truly captured our hearts forever. We felt very private and enjoyable.

A dream
5/5

I booked our family (3 adults and 3 kids ages 1, 6, and 8) on a 2-week trip with Julius after a lot of research. It was the most we’ve spent on a holiday but I believe it was very good value when you compare like for like - other operators for the same itinerary would cost more and offer less in my opinion and for what is included it was good value without sacrificing quality. I felt nervous sending money up front but everything was honoured and above and beyond.

We arrived late and John our driver met us at the airport, helped with all our bags and took us to Sarova Stanley in Nairobi. This was a lovely hotel. Felt like we’d gone back in time and had a great atmosphere. Nice blues music, lots of different restaurants, rooftop pool and bar. The rooms were beautiful. I can’t remember the lady’s name but one lady who worked in the restaurant downstairs (where you also eat breakfast) was just incredible with the kids. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice. We got up early and headed to David Sheldrick elephant orphanage. It’s in the park so you could do a game drive for no extra charge but we needed to minimise time in Nairobi as fitting in lots of locations so after this we went to the giraffe center and then the carnivore restaurant. Such a fab day. We then headed back to relax at the hotel and let the kids swim.

The next morning we departed for Samburu.

Our driver was George. He had us see all the special five and all the big five. He was completely chilled and good with the kids - I believe he really knew his stuff and he was a great guide. He also did so much driving as we covered such volume but was always cheerful and energised.

We stayed at Ashnil and I think this was my favourite hotel. We had two rooms overlooking the river. On arrival a large bull elephant and a companion were eating from the trees right outside our rooms. We had a beautiful table for eating with such a sweet waitress. Food was served rather than buffet style and so much choice. All incredible. Also a shout out to Kennedy who was the security guy and just so sweet. On our first night they kept the pool open longer so kids could swim after a game drive. The staff were all above and beyond and the rooms were utterly stunning. It was like a dream. Our one year old fell in love with the monkeys. The scenery was stunning on the game drives. Really unusual compared to other locations and we saw all the special 5. We also saw cheetahs both days - including with cubs. The elephants were stunning and such a huge herd with so many babies.

After 2 nights we ventured back on ourselves to Ol Pejeta staying at Sweetwaters. Again amazing. Our waitress Ann was so sweet, Alex the security guy was fab. The tents were beautiful and they put hot water bottles in at night. We overlooked the water hole and it was other worldly seeing the animals come up while sitting with a drink on the porch and kids playing. We saw a pride of lions with cubs and loved the trip to see the blind Rhino. He was so sweet and kids loved feeding him. I did a night game drive with our daughter on day 1. We saw a striped hyena which made her day. The stars and sounds were beautiful. My husband did the night game drive with my mum on day 2 and they saw cheetah, lions, elephants, both types of hyena, skunk, rhinos and more than I can remember.

After two nights here we drove to Lake Nakuru. This is where we saw what the kids excitedly announced as “Mufusa”. I was also so happy to see Flamingos. We saw baby baboons, rhinos, hippos, reticulated giraffe, and much more. The scenery was so different and so beautiful. The hotel (Sarova Lion Hill) wasn’t as impressive but it was still very nice and highly recommend.

After one night we quickly set off for Masi Mara. We had 3 nights here. So many big cats! The river was stunning. So many hippos. We saw a beautiful young family of lions. Two male lions grooming each other (big manes but could tell young as pinker noses), a leapord in a tree (the kids will not stop talking about this), cheetahs, a Sarova cat, ostrich, elephants, so many wilderbeast, buffalo, “pumbas” (family favorite), a pack of hyenas kill a zebra (they pulled out a perfectly formed foetus which was sad), baby hyena, baby everything. We finished with a hot air balloon ride for me, mum and my son - unreal. Herds of zebra and wilderbeast ran below us, also saw lions, elephant, hyena etc. The hotel (Sarova Maru) was a mixed bag. Partly because in my head I built it up so much. On arrival there were used towels but no fresh ones or staff handing them out or juice like other hotels. We then asked for a cot (booked ahead of time). The room wasn’t ready but when it was there was no cot but instead a separate bed for our one year old. We phoned and they said they would replace. After a while we phoned back and they said it was on the way. After more time we phoned again and explained that we needed to get the little one down for a nap before evening game drive and asked how long and they said 5 minutes. 20 minutes later we phoned again but it rung out. I then went to reception (2 hours at this point) and the manager was really dismissive. They sorted the cot but it took so long and lots of chasing. Having said that - the room was so beautiful and I’d love to return. Our room attendant was so attentive and sweet. The porch and jungle area was serene. We saw a rare Garrett cat and other wildlife. The bar staff were amazing and lovely (though the wine prices are very high and I suggest bring your own). Veronica was incredible with the kids - she took them fishing, archery and more. The pool area was beautiful. Special shout out to the staff member on the tandoori station - so cheerful, and Daisy. Daisy made fries and chicken nuggets especially for the kids as well as lovely food for mum who is gluten and dairy intolerant. She was so so lovely and cheerful and amazing with the kids. We miss her already.

We then set off to Diaini where I’d booked accommodation but Julius still sorted flights etc. He also sorted our transport complimentary and when we got to Nairobi he did the same again- he organised a driver to take us to Karen Blitzen for a lovely meal and relax before our flight home.

I’d not hesitate to recommend Julius. The trip exceeded expectations and our minds were blown (and we are very seasoned travellers). It may be a while before we can do such a trip again but one day I’d love to rebook with him. Hand on heart you won’t get a better experience for the value he offers.

Amazing Uganda/Kenya adventure
5/5

My girlfriend and I had the most incredible two-week safari adventure in Uganda and Kenya in August, all arranged by Amani Afrika! From the very beginning, Vivian worked closely with us to craft a perfectly tailored itinerary. The trip was extremely well organized – every detail was taken care of so smoothly – and all of our accommodations were fantastic. All we had to do was show up. All the accommodations were well taken care off and transfers were effortless. The vehicles in Uganda and Kenya were comfortable and perfect for game drives.

A special shout-out goes to our Uganda guide, Barnabas. He was absolutely amazing – incredibly knowledgeable about every animal we saw, especially the birds. As Birders we loved that he went out of his way to add extra birding stops to our game drives. He literally knew every bird in Uganda by site and sound. Barnabas was also wonderfully kind and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and felt completely safe. His enthusiasm and care made our safari days so much fun.

Our Kenyan guide, Chris, was equally fantastic. His passion for wildlife, the local ecosystem, and the culture of the region really shined through. Chris shared so many interesting facts about the animals, plants, and even traditions of the Maasai people. We learned an incredible amount from him at every turn. His knowledge and storytelling brought the landscapes to life for us, making each drive educational and exciting. In addition, Chris had an eye for photography and helped us get some amazing shots. He also found some amazing wildlife encounters and felt especially lucky to have him as our guide.

We absolutely loved this trip and it exceeded all of our expectations. We can’t say enough good things about Vivian, Barnabas, and Chris – they made the adventure unforgettable. If you’re planning an African safari, do yourself a favor and book with Amani Afrika. You won’t regret it!
