An Unforgettable East Africa Experience with Safari 2 Gorilla Tours
Planning a trip to East Africa initially felt overwhelming, but everything changed once I connected with Aron at Safari 2 Gorilla Tours. From our very first interaction, he made the entire process feel effortless. Aron was incredibly responsive—no question was too small, and every personalized request, from itinerary tweaks to adding new destinations, was met not only with enthusiasm but with thoughtful suggestions that truly elevated our experience.
Flying into Rwanda turned out to be an unexpected highlight. We were able to immerse ourselves in the country’s rich and complex history, take in its stunning landscapes and mountain views, and ease into the rhythm of the region before beginning our trekking adventure in Uganda.
Once in Uganda, Aron seamlessly handed us off to his colleague Danny—and we absolutely adored him. Danny took exceptional care of us every step of the way. He anticipated our needs, fulfilled our wants, and even surprised us with thoughtful touches we didn’t know we needed. His knowledge was astounding—over the course of several days and countless questions, we only managed to stump him once!
This trip was not only well-priced but delivered incredible value. Aron and Danny went above and beyond to ensure our journey was smooth, enriching, and unforgettable.
Would I recommend Safari 2 Gorilla Tours? Without hesitation—ABSOLUTELY!

Awesome Organisation
We wanted to go on a safari in Tanzania and contacted Serengeti Sunrise Safaris.
Sharon, the communications manager, took the time to put together a tailor-made two-day private tour for us, offering excellent value for money, including booking flights, hotels, meals, and various services.
Upon arrival at Arusha airport, we were warmly welcomed and taken care of directly by the Serengeti Sunrise team, who took great care of us throughout our safari, responding to our wishes and ensuring our safety.
The vehicle used for our travel was comfortable, and our driver/guide, Jason, was extremely knowledgeable and dedicated.
We visited Tarangire National Park and Ngorogoro Crater, and thanks to our guide's keen observation skills, we were able to see a host of animals, including four of the Big Five.
We experienced a wonderful safari thanks to the Serengeti Sunrise Safari team, and we already know we'll be entrusting them with our next Serengeti migration safari.

Excellent experience and support from Serengeti African Tours.
Fantastic trip!
Inviolata helped us organise everything and communication was seamless via WhatsApp, throughout the months before departure. Everything was perfectly arranged for our arrival and stay. Lodges and camps were of great quality (Suricata Boma Lodge and Ang'Ata Serengeti Camp above all) and their staff very helpful.
Our guide Lawrence and head chef Mataio, made the trip to the parks the most entertaining and fun. Lawrence took us to see the big 5, we were not short of lions, elephants, but we also saw cheetas and a beautiful leopard. He told us many things about the parks and about life in Tanzania in general. Mataio is an awesome cook, we ate delicious lunches and he's also a fun company to spend the drive with.
Great assortment of different people in the Jeep. We really became friends after 7 days. A wonderful experience, I recommend everything of it and strongly recommend Serengeti African Tours services.

Undeniably the best tour guide you will ever experience!
Our recent adventure through South Africa in June 2025, expertly guided by KG of Rent A Tour and Safaris, was nothing short of extraordinary, transforming our cultural immersion project through Fulbright-Hays and Guilford College into a deeply personal and enriching experience. KG's professionalism and amiable demeanor stood out immediately, making us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we began our 14-day exploration across diverse landscapes. His profound knowledge, coupled with his engaging storytelling, brought the vibrant history and culture of each location to life, far exceeding our expectations. This journey, encompassing major cities, museums, townships, and national parks, was meticulously organized and flawlessly executed, ensuring a seamless and thoroughly enjoyable experience for our group. For all of my cohort, except me, this was their first trip to South Africa and KG made it feel like home.
KG's commitment to our safety and comfort was paramount throughout the entire trip, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the South African experience. A great tour guide is characterized by broad knowledge, passion, a sense of humor, and unending patience, all qualities that KG exemplified. He treated our group with the utmost respect, constantly adapting to ensure our needs were met, even when unforeseen circumstances arose. His unwavering dedication to safety and meticulous planning provided a secure environment, enhancing our enjoyment of every stop on the itinerary.
KG's brilliance as a tour guide shone through his extensive knowledge and ability to share it in a captivating and interactive manner. He shared fascinating stories about the cities' histories, bringing to life the hidden gems we explored in places like Pretoria and Soweto, making each location memorable. Whether discussing the historical significance of Lillieleaf or the vibrant community spirit in Mamelodi, KG's commentary was always informative and delivered with an engaging style that invited questions and participation, never feeling like a rigid lecture. His exceptional communication skills allowed him to connect with everyone, ensuring that the diverse array of information, from historical facts to local customs, was easily understood and appreciated by all members of our group.
Beyond his comprehensive knowledge, KG possesses a remarkable sense of humor, which proved to be an invaluable asset throughout our journey. His witty remarks and timely jokes often lightened the mood, particularly during longer travel segments between locations like Thohoyandou and Kruger National Park, fostering a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. This blend of informative commentary and genuine humor made every moment enjoyable and helped to forge a strong bond within our group, making us feel more like companions than mere colleagues and tourists. His ability to entertain with stories and anecdotes transformed passive observation into an active and delightful engagement with the places we visited.
What truly set KG apart was his ability to foster a profound sense of familial connection among our group. He approached his role with a warmth and consideration that made us feel not just like clients, but like cherished friends or family members exploring South Africa together. He was super friendly, helpful, and considerate, educating us not only on specific elements of the tour but also about South Africa in general. His empathy, energy, and beautiful spirit resonated deeply, leaving a lasting impression that extended far beyond the conclusion of the tour. He is a part of our family and even spent his birthday with us! (What tour guide do you know that would do such a selfless thing?) The feeling of being part of an instant family, genuinely cared for and understood, transformed our trip into an unparalleled experience that we will forever treasure and can't possibly ever forget!
Our journey through Pretoria, Johannesburg, Soweto, Mamelodi, Thohoyandou, and Kruger with KG of Rent A Tour and Safaris was truly an exceptional experience, largely due to his outstanding qualities as a tour guide and as a human. His unwavering commitment to safety, coupled with his brilliant knowledge, compassionate spirit and engaging humor, ensured that every moment was enriching and enjoyable. More than just a guide, KG became a cherished part of our travel family, fostering a bond that made the South African landscape feel even more welcoming and intimate. With every experience, we literally felt the sentiment, "welcome home". I wholeheartedly recommend KG to anyone seeking not just a tour, but a transformative and deeply personal exploration of South Africa. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed - hire this man!

An excellent choice
We are extremely happy to have done our 5-day safari with Enzi. The safari was a succession of memorable once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and the service provided by this small family-run local business was second to none. In terms of wildlife, we not only saw an enormous amount and diversity of fascinating animals in Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Central Serengeti but were able to witness the wildebeest crossing of the Mara River from a prime position in the Northern Serengeti, more than once. The camps and lodges were comfortable and met our needs and budget. The itinerary was thorough and well paced, and Enzi also booked the flight to Zanzibar for us. During the booking stages, all my contacts with Enzi were via Whatsapp and their communication was always prompt and very clear so I had a good understanding of what was included and what wasn't, and felt very confident when proceeding to pay via bank transfers. On departure day, the owner herself turned up at our hotel with the driver to meet us and provide further briefing. Last, but certainly not least, the driver allocated to us, Emmanuel, was phenomenal: a fun, professional, friendly and hard-working man, always focused on making the client happy and willing to go the extra mile - literally - to make that happen.

Very professional team and can be trusted with what they offer.
These guys are dependable and on time, the vehicle was quite comfortable and Chris is a great driver.
The first of the three days is a long one, but very remarkable seeing the Murchison Falls. The game drives were very good, as well and plenty of time for photos.

A true nightmare
It was our dream to do a safari in Tanzania, but Mega Wild Safaris turned it into a nightmare.
We booked our trip well in advance (January/February 2025) with a clear itinerary that we crafted together with Anne, who provided us with a selection of accommodations, lodges and tented camps. In February we were asked to pay a deposit of 45% and we promptly did.
Since then, Mega Wild Safaris changed the plans multiple times, with no apparent reason, as they were supposed to have booked the places for us. After months of back and forth we arrived at last week (3 weeks before our scheduled trip), and we were asked insistently to pay for the remaining part (even though at the beginning we were advised to do so "within 3 weeks from our arrival"). We promptly did so and we provided Mega Wild Safaris with all the bank proof. As everyone may appreciate it might take few days for the money to arrive (international money wire). During the few days Anne changed our plan again (including the internal flight to Zanzibar) mentioning that the accommodations were starting to fill out (they were supposed to be booked for us) and that they needed the money to actually arrive before finally booking (not mentioned in our previous and lengthy conversations). At that time, Anne kept asking us to do another wire which would put ourselves in the risk of paying twice, therefore we did not proceed and felt scammed. As imaginable we were emotionally upset and proven (I highlight here that we were also shaken by the way she responded to us, which sounded rude and demeaning) and during our conversation Anne proposed us - without us requesting so - to do a full refund "if we were not happy". After a couple of days of reflection we finally decided to cancel, expecting to receive the full deposit as she mentioned. Luckily we managed to book through another company that was extremely more reliable, organized and proved us the booking immediately after they receive the deposit (as it should be!!!!). Since the cancellation Mega Wild Safaris communication with us has been even worse than before. They keep referring to their cancellation policies despite what their representatives told us and proposed to us in the first place. This is just stunning behavior as we decided to cancel based on their promise of a full refund. Out of frustration and tiredness we proposed them an 80% reimbursement also to compensate for the potential losses (as a transactional compromise). At first they seemed to agree on this proposal but despite our reasonable behavior, they refunded 50% according to cancellation policies. I am trying to reach out to understand the reason and I have not received a response yet. While fully understanding that there might be costs associated to cancel the bookings, we value customer satisfaction more and for sure Mega Wild Safaris is not doing so (at least in our case). Personally, I have been travelling the world and this is the first time this happens to me. I am still hoping they come to a better consult and pay us back what they proposed to us and according to which we made the cancellation. Unbelievable behavior and a true nightmare.
