Fantastic 3 days Gorilla Trekking Tour in Uganda with Nextgen Safaris
We booked a last minute Gorilla trekking tour from China with Nextgen Safaris. Me and my boyfriend have been wanting to see Gorillas but we did not know how to book a good tour. I contacted Nextgen Safaris and Benald responded to me right a way by email and WhatsApp. He recommended different options for Uganda and Rwanda and also advised to trek from Uganda side but fly in from Kigali for a shorter drive to the Gorilla zone of Uganda. he was very helpful and fast on responses. Our driver Renatus was awesome and fantastic. He waited for us at Kigali airport, welcomed us and transferred us to our hotel in Bwindi (Gorilla Mist Camp). The car was very luxurious and comfortable. This transfer was a little long, about 4 hours but we loved his stories and every bit of the journey. he also helped us on the boarder to Uganda. Our gorilla hike was very beautiful, were a group of 6 hikers during our gorilla trek and we met a very joyful gorilla family. We both loved every bit of this 3 days gorilla trekking tour and we highly recommend Nextgen Safaris and Benald. It is best starting from Kigali if you are not good with long drives as my boyfriend

Great Guide, Great Planning, Great Communication
We did our honeymoon-safari-ride with Professional Safari and are absolutely in love with how everything went. Based on our wishes & dates, they provided us with multiple different offers for our trip. Conveniently, we were regularly in contact with them - first via email, then via WhatsApp. The communication between the camp in the Serengeti, Golden Safari Camp, and our guide was also just perfect and we had no troubles with anything. Our guide, Deo, is the best we could have imagened. He is kind, relaxed, always on time and knows everything about the wildlife and culture. Even the bumpiest roads made him not loose his smile, and at every time we felt safe with him. He also has sharp eyes and sees animals that we could never. And because of this, we regret that we only booked the Serengeti Tour and not the Ngorongoro Tour in combi, so we could have made the big 5 complete. We saw every animal there is, except the Rhino. Hence, we have to come back, which we will do a 100% again with Deo and Professional Safari.
Hopefully, by then we won‘t have forgotten all the Swaheli we have been taught.

Incredible experience with Axis and James Gichina
This was my first safari and it will be hard to top this experience going forward!
The booking and registration was super smooth thanks to Monica from Axis. We stayed at Sankale Camp, very basic yet it had everything we needed, staff was kind and helpful.
The best part of our trip was of course the game drives, which couldn't have gone better thanks to our expert driver James Gichina. He made sure to always get as close as possible to the animals, giving us the best angles and shots. He was consistently reactive and shared many facts about the reserve and the wildlife. We had a great time with him.

The tour and our tour guide/driver Lambs Senor was excellent. Pickup was punctual at 5 am.Lambs was very informative on all aspects of Kruger and animals and enlightened us about aspects of South African society and culture. (We are from Ireland).
