Excellent Tour Guide
As a solo traveller wanting to do the Gorilla Trek in Rwanda, I had a need to find a safe/efficient tour operator who would make the 30 hours I had from airport pickup through to final hotel drop off as seamless as possible. I was very fortunate to select Dav Safaris. The booking process was seamless, via Whatsapp, payment was secure and easy , and Isaac was there to collect me on arrival.
Fair to say Isaac was an outstanding guide/driver. Always courteous and attentive, providing lots of useful information on the 3 hr journey from airport to hotel. He was very effective at managing all the little things that needed to be done to get me checked in, dinner, then ready next morning for my Gorilla Trek - also helping to find the right porter to carry my bag (and help me at times to overcome obstacles on the path - thanks to Janver, you couldn’t find a better porter).
After 4.5hrs of trek - Isaac was waiting to take me back to hotel, freshen up, lunch then another 3 hrs back to Kigali. We swapped stories on the way of both our countries - I learned a lot about Rwanda.
My time with Isaac was definitely a highlight of trip to Rwanda, along with seeing beautiful gorillas.
Highly recommend Dav Safaris !

Unforgettable Kenyan Safari – Enriching, Educational & Full of Wonder
Our recent safari through Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Masai Mara was nothing short of extraordinary. From vast landscapes and abundant wildlife to peaceful boat rides and thrilling game drives, every destination offered something unique and memorable.
What truly elevated the experience was our guide, Phillip. In addition to being highly knowledgeable and experienced in spotting wildlife and explaining their behavior, he enriched our journey with engaging conversations on Kenyan history, politics, and current affairs—something we truly appreciated during the long drives.
Our 10-year-old daughter was completely engaged throughout. Phillip answered her many questions with patience and warmth, turning every moment into a fun learning experience for her as well.
This safari was a perfect blend of adventure, discovery, and meaningful connection—with nature and people. Highly recommended!

Outstanding...Nicole was amazingly attentive, helpful, caring, efficient and wonderful
My 92 year old mom and I enjoyed a fabulous 3 days at black rhino reserve. The lodge is beautiful and extremely well kept , clean, . The staff are so attentive and gave special care and help to my mom at all times. The food was excellent. All in all I highly recommend the whole experience.
Only 1 criticism ...black rhino lodge is not wheelchair friendly which made it a bit challenging for my mom who uses a walker to get around.

A truly enjoyable experience
Noxy made our visit a wonderful experience. She was very attentive to our needs, provided an excellent dinner and breakfast and made sure we were comfortable. Our bedroom and bathroom were well put together and our "glamping" was a central part of the experience. Our drivers and guides were courteous, punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. This was great value for money.

Excellent Safari Company...the best there is!
We had an incredible journey with Get Together Adventures in Tanzania, based in Arusha. The trip was perfectly organized, with excellent lodges and breathtaking safaris in several stunning national parks.
Our professional safari guide Emmanuel (and owner of Get Together Adventures) was truly the best guide we could have hoped for — incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife, animal behavior, and also a lot of knowledge about birdlife! On top of that, he was extremely service-oriented, a pleasure to travel with, great safari car and always at the right place at exactly the right time.
In short: if you're planning a safari holiday in Tanzania, including a beach extension on Zanzibar, Get Together Adventures is the company to go with!
Thanks again Emmanuel & Savilinyi for this increadible experience with your company!!
Warm regards,
Manita & Robert

Experienced and always in contact with us .
My wife, a friend, and I contacted GoGiraffe to organize a 10-day trip to western Tanzania. Our goal was to visit Katavi National Park, Mahale, and Gombe. When designing the tour, I really appreciated Luice's promptness: he was easy to reach and quick to respond to our requests. The area we wanted to visit is the least visited in Tanzania, and the parks are difficult to access, yet they guarantee very few tourists. In the three parks we visited, we were almost always alone! We met Luice upon arrival by ferry from Zanzibar and immediately appreciated his punctuality and constant communication via wupp, which made us feel safe and well looked after. We flew to Mpanda, where we met the local driver and guide. We agreed on a medium-budget tour, so we slept in the park's Bandas. The accommodation was simple but decent, as was the food offered at the Bandas' restaurant. The park is fantastic, and we saw all the expected animals, with the sole exception of the lions. We never encountered any other tourists and thoroughly enjoyed the two-day safari. From Katavi, we traveled to Mahale. It's almost impossible to get there directly because the road conditions are terrible, but the journey is a great opportunity to observe local life and people. Then, we stopped in Kigoma, where we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful Kigoma Hilltop Hotel with its lake views, a gorgeous pool, and an excellent restaurant! The next day, another long and beautiful drive to Mahale, including a very picturesque ferry ride—an incredible experience immersing ourselves in local life! Finally, we reached the park with a final 90-minute boat ride on Lake Tanganyika, admiring the stunning, pristine coastline. The scenery in Mahale is extraordinary: I felt like I was in Jurassic Park! In the park, we were supervised by Hussein Mavumila: a fantastic, expert, and very kind guide. The food was good, even better than in Katavi. The next day, Hussein and I began trekking in search of chimpanzees, whom we encountered and observed all morning. Incredible! The next day was a long journey: back to Kigoma to take the boat to Gombe. The journeys on this trip have always been long and not particularly comfortable, but, for me, they were the best moments in Africa because they allowed us to see real life, including fishing villages with Lake Tanganyika always in sight. Gombe National Park was founded by Jane Goodall to preserve and study chimpanzees. The Banda are very poor, so if you can, book a tent at the nearby camp: a little more expensive, but far cleaner and more comfortable! The next morning, another long hike in the forest, observing several relaxed chimpanzees, very busy eating and delousing. A fantastic day! After lunch, we decided to speed up our journey back to Kigoma to reach the comfort of the Kigoma Hilltop Hotel! This decision allowed us to be there the next day at 8:00 a.m. when the fishermen arrived from their night fishing expedition and spend a couple of hours admiring the local women selling sardines. A colorful and amazing sight! The morning concluded with a visit to the Kigoma train station (a very important piece of Tanzanian history), the Slave Route surrounded by enormous mango trees, and the very interesting Livingstone Museum, built on the site where Dr. Livingstone and Mr. Stanley met. Our trip concluded with a comfortable night in Dar, where we had the opportunity to enjoy a delightful dinner with Luice, learning a lot about Tanzania and future travel opportunities! Overall, our experience was very positive, knowing that this trip is not for everyone, but especially for experienced travelers. Visiting the less touristy part of Tanzania can be a bit of a hassle, but Luice's constant assistance through Wupp helped solve all the problems, and the reward is fantastic: we will cherish the beautiful images of people, nature, and landscapes for the rest of our lives!

Carson was personable, pleasant and informative.
Our tour operator Jenman African safaris contracted MoAfrika to transport us to Johannesburg Intl. Airport.
Carson was punctual & helpful with our luggage. We enjoyed our conversations about South Africa on the journey.
Would recommend MoAfrika Tours.

Promises - and not keeping them nor following the contract - from first payment to cancellation
Be carefull with Kaurumuna Safaris.
I had signed contract and made the first payment in February 2025.
The contract says next payment 30 days prior the start of safari.
Soon after that first payment I received requirement to pay the next payment - two months before stated on the contract !
I requested multiple confirmations that all the reservations were done and payments paid for lodge bookings, Chimps tracking and Gorilla trekking. Richard from Karumuna stated very clearly "all are paid" and shared copy of booking which showed 30 % payment of payment.
I started to feel uncertain and contacted directly UWA office to double check the payments and also contacted few of lodges.
Same result from everywhere - nothing paid and trekking booking over dated due to missing payment.
I pressed Richard with my message about bookings and all the time I got confirmation from him that e.g. Gorilla trekking was fully paid.
But docs showed different.
After multiple messages we lost trust on this fellow and I sent a cancellation message in March.
The first response was to accept change to pay the second part when we arrive, not like shown in contract (30 days prior).
But I informed that I want to cancel because of loss of trust.
The result was that Richard threatened me with contact of lawyer.
I responded that I just want to follow the cancellation chapter in our agreement.
Meanwhile also our daughter had helped us and contacted other people who has shared negative feedback about Karumuna Safaris.
Those appeared to be real cases, no lies!
Still now - early August 2025 I've received only answers about Karumuna cancellation policy and their lawyer to contact us.
What ? We have contract which is clear, but Richard pulls on table policy which he hasn't ever shared - still now I haven't seen that.
And, I have saved all the emailing + whatsup messages to be able to prove what has been agreed and what I found out.
So, I have not received any money back from Karumuna Safaris, no matter there is signed contract.
What about trust of this company.
Think about it - you arrive at Kampala airport and you trust that there is someone waiting for after non true communication...
I would avoid this company !
Just feeling bad about trusting company with rating over 4 on Safari Bookings.
Also Tripadvisor showes reasonable good feedback.
And we lost money for this.
