Great first safari experience
We had a great first safari experience in Masai Mara and lake Nakuru with Axis.
When booking, you get multiple price options which translate in better camps / lodges. We wouldn't recommend the expensive ones because you are hardly in the camp anyway except to sleep and eat. The prices are among the most competitive I've seen in Nairobi.
When booking, communication wasn't always flawless and leaving from Nairobi the first day was a bit delayed - but Axis are friendly and responsive.
The most important part, the safari itself, couldn't have been better. Leroy, our guide, made sure we saw all of the big five and more. Besides giving interesting animal facts, he made the trip much more personal.

This tour was fantastic!
We saw so many amazing animals (often very close!), and Danfort was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He shared facts about each animal and seemed to know exactly where to find all the animals! We were lucky to see many elephants, giraffes, and lions! This was a fantastic tour, and we had an amazing day!

Our private safari with Safari Soles was truly unforgettable. Everything was well organized — from the safari itinerary to domestic flights and hotel transfers. The team was always available and did their best to help with any questions or issues that came up along the way.
Our guide, Banana, was absolutely exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable and with a very good English. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, his sharp eye for spotting animals (even from a distance!) made every game drive exciting and memorable. He was patient, professional, and truly passionate about nature and conservation.
Thanks to him, we had the rare opportunity to see all Big Five, including a black rhino, which was a dream come true. We also spotted a leopard lounging in a tree and watched a cheetah and her baby— moments we’ll never forget.
The game drives in Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater were incredibly well-paced and tailored to our interests. We were never rushed and had plenty of time to soak in the beauty of each location. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the wildlife sightings were beyond what we had hoped for.
The accommodations arranged by Safari Soles were excellent — clean, comfortable, and in beautiful locations. The food was delicious, and the staff everywhere were welcoming and kind.
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, made possible by the expert planning of Safari Soles and the outstanding guidance of Banana. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, personalized safari experience in Tanzania.

The best experience ever!!
This has been one of the best experiences I have had ever. The guides, porters, cheff, assistants, etc are the most friendly, nice and educated people. The organization of the tour was perfect, every single detail was planned and the most important; we reached the summit!!! Hakuna Matata!!!!
