I contacted 2 or 3 companies initially but decided Uncensored were the most proactive and flexible.
We were not disappointed.
Avitus helped and adapted the trip to suit us and was very supportive when plans changed due to a bereavement within the family.
He helped us even with the internal flights either end of the trip and the accommodation he arranged for us was fabulous.
Our guide Emanuelle was absolutely fantastic with his knowledge and enthusiasm - He went above and beyond to show us the Big 5 plus lots more and we were impressed with his bird knowledge too.
We even got to see a hiding Leopard at the end of the day as the sun was going down and a wandering Cheetah as the sun was coming up!
I would completely recommend Avitus and his team who made our family trip to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Taranguire such an unforgettable 3 day adventure.

Our guide's name is Roger, and he is an exceptionally kind person. He was very patient with us and helped us spot many animals—elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. He patiently explained everything whenever we had questions and was also an excellent driver, even though it must have been exhausting driving for such long hours. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this experience and would definitely recommend my friends to book a tour with Roger!

We had a very nice vacation. The guide was very nice and helpfull. All the lodges/ hotels were as expected. The food was excellent.
We really experianced Rwanda in a good way!

The tour was fantastic. We see a LOT of animals, truck was always clean and now let’s talk about the most important person in our trip. The guide ! DAVID was more than a guide. He was our historian, our mechanic, our helper, our protector and he was the reason why we will give a note of 11/10 to classic journeys. All Buisness have truck and go in the same parc or reserve but you cannot choose your guide at the first time. Please ask to have David if you travel with classic journeys you’ll not be disappointed. We booked our 8-day safari through Serengeti Smile, an Arusha-based company. Our sales agent, Erick, was extremely responsive and willing to work with us to customize our trip-every email was rapidly answered.
