Mr Wilson provided us with a beautiful afternoon!
5/5

We had an unexpected free afternoon while on a trip to Nairobi and the hotel recommended Mr Wilson at Maasai Mara Train. On short notice, he was able to to pick us up (two people) at our hotel and deliver us the park, where we enjoyed a private 3-hr tour! We saw so many animals and the experience was very comfortable. Mr Wilson allowed us to use his binoculars and was able to share information about everything we saw. He is also clearly well connected to other guides, who shared information about what they were seeing. As a result, at one point, we drove straight to the area where a lion family was resting! It was amazing. If you're looking for someone friendly and very accommodating, Mr. Wilson at Maasai Mara Train is the man to call!!

Satisfying
5/5

Franklin was a very nice young guide and we really had a satisfying experience with him. We saw incredibly views like from the lion king movie and of course hippos, giraffes, elephants and LIONs. I was able to contact him easily through whatsapp and he would respond quick. Very good value for money compared to other out there. This safari is mainly for adventurous people that like to wake up early. For improvement I recommend him allthough he answered to my messages he could send me more details and info beforehand, like plane tickets, for the customer to feel safe. Also it would be great that he add the whole schedule in the pdf. (6 am plane, 7-16 safari, 17 lodge 20 dinner, next day 6 morning bush walk, 8 breakfast, 10 boat safari, masai village visit back zanzibar…)

Most caring and organized tour operator!
5/5

A truly great safari experience goes beyond just spotting wildlife; it’s a holistic and transformative journey that engages all the senses and leaves a lasting impact.
A great safari will maximize opportunities for close-up, respectful wildlife viewing in their natural habitats. This includes encounters with the “big five “ (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), as well as other diverse species, such as zebras, hippos, alligators, and a vast array of bird life . A knowledgeable and passionate guide is crucial. They are not just drivers. They are interpreters of the wilderness. Sharing their expertise on animal behavior, ecosystems and conservation efforts. A great guide will enhance your understanding and appreciation of the environment, making the experience, educational and insightful.they also play a vital role in ensuring safety during wildlife encounters. A truly great safari extends beyond the wildlife, allowing for meaningful interactions with local communities and a glimpse into their way of life. This can include visiting local villages, markets, engaging in cultural activities, fostering a deeper understanding of the regions, people and traditions. Our accommodations were luxurious and rustic at the same time. I would highly recommend this tour guide and I hope to repeat the trip in a year or two.

Best guide ever!
5/5

We had the great pleasure of traveling through Uganda with EBS. Our guide - Robert - from the very first day proved to be highly professional, tactful, and caring. He made sure every aspect of our trip was perfectly organized, so our family could feel safe and comfortable at all times.

Robert always fulfilled our requests with a smile – for example, he helped us find the perfect place in Kampala where our daughter could get her dream braids. When another family joined our group, it was clear he knew exactly how to organize things so that everyone felt safe and well taken care of.

During our safari in Queen Elizabeth Park, Robert demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the area, as well as of animals, birds, and plants, which he shared in an engaging way. We saw elephants, chimpanzees, baboons, leapards, zebras, antelopes, hippos and many more.He remained calm in challenging situations – whether it was when a wheel got stuck in a ditch or when we were driving to the hotel late at night – always finding solutions with composure and without panic.

We truly appreciated his help with local shopping in the village, his sense of when to actively share stories and when to give us space, and his great rapport with both adults and teenagers. Robert was always punctual, full of energy, and ready for action. He answered our most unusual questions about the social, political, and everyday life of the people of Uganda.

Later, during the rest of our trip in Africa (Nairobi and Zanzibar), when we were guided by others (from different companies), we often thought of Robert and missed his dedication, tact, and smile. With Robert, we felt like we were part of Uganda. We were looked after in every possible way and could fully enjoy our journey.

We wholeheartedly recommend EBS and Robert to anyone planning a trip to Uganda. He is truly a guide you will remember for a long time! Warm regards Robert – we all miss the time we spent with you!

Warning from my experience I recommennd you avoid Kipok Africa Adventures and Amani
1/5

In July 2024, I received a quote from Kipok Africa Adventures and paid a USD 2,000 deposit. Amani, the owner, assured me that all lodges for our July 2025 safari would be booked.

However, in December 2024, after seeing several negative reviews appear for the company, I contacted the lodges directly. Every single one confirmed there was no booking under my name or the company’s name. When I questioned Amani, he gave multiple excuses and then started requesting additional “government” payments in advance — despite our written agreement that the balance would be paid closer to the trip. I researched the “government” reason he gave and found it was completely false.

As we were travelling during peak season, I told him we had lost trust in the company and requested a refund on December 19, 2024. He asked for 90 days. The 90 days passed with no refund. After more than 40 follow-up messages, he eventually refunded USD 1,100 — but USD 900 is still outstanding, and he has now stopped communicating entirely.

From what I have learned, Amani is essentially a freelance jeep driver who has set up his own company and is scamming unsuspecting travellers.

I recommend that you do not book with Kipok Africa Adventures. You risk losing your money and having your holiday ruined. If you are ever on safari with another company and he arrives to pick you up, call your tour operator immediately and refuse to travel with him. He will find every possible way to get to your wallet.

Super Eagles made our Safari super enjoyable
5/5

Our guide Alvin is an experienced professional. He knows many fellow tour guides and exchanged animal sightings information so we got to see lions, leopards, and cheetahs quite easily. He was very punctual meeting us every day, answered every questions we asked about animals, plants, and Masai culture. He also is passionate about wild animals and help park rangers to care wild animals. With his help, we saw all big fives and wildebeests and zebras crossing Mara River and we are very happy with this Safari trip
