Excellent choice for creating a perfect family safari experience
I would highly recommend Spirit of Kenya. Having read so many positive reviews during my research my expectations were high and I’m pleased to say they were met.

“Every safari is unique, let us design your journey to make it truly extraordinary and tailor made to your expectations and budget.” I had many emails to Jorge and Gerardo during the planning of the trip and they were very helpful and patient in helping to create the perfect itinerary for my family. From the moment we were met at Nairobi airport everything was seamless. Our guide, Boniface, was exceptional. He was an excellent driver, knowledgeable, personable and very experienced at finding animals. He was available from before sunrise to after sunset so we had plenty of time to see and track animals. We visited the Masai Mara and stayed at Mara Sopa Lodge and Malaika Camp providing different experiences and I would happily recommend both and 100% recommend Spirit of Kenya.

Very good communication and accurate description of tour.
We did a quick 2 day tour of Amboseli in August 2025. Picked us up around 7:30am the first day in Nairobi, then about a 4-5 hour drive to a camp site near the park gate. There was one stop on the way for coffee and bathroom, at a touristy store / rest area. Upon arrival at camp, we got set up in our tent and then had lunch after. Overall campsite experience was great, there were power outlets and WIFI all working fine. There was also phone signal the entire time. The food provided at camp was also really good. Around 3:30-5:30pm there was a game drive on day 1, followed by Dinner around 7pm. Day 2 we had breakfast around 7:30am and from 8-10am went for a second game drive. After the game drive, we started the return to Nairobi with another stop for lunch (this time, lunch was not included). Driver stopped at a fancy store place with restaurant and bathrooms. By 5pm we were back in Nairobi on day 2. Overall it was amazing experience, and we got to see many zebras, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, monkeys, but only 1 lion on the first day. It really depends on several factors. Also, the view from the campsite to mount Kilimanjaro is not guaranteed. First day it was cloudy and not visible at all. Second day was only partially visible in the early hours 7-8am, then it got cloudy again. There were also extra activities you could do, such as early morning walk day 2 with a Masai person outside the campsite and also visit a Masai village. Both of these were extras and cost about $20 USD per person each, we chose not to do it.

Exceptional, Authentic, Educational + Personalized Experience!
I took a group of Midland University students on a 100% personalized trip to Tanzania. Since the trip was also worth credit, we had specific learning outcomes that needed to be met. I worked directly with Brenda to discuss our preferences for the trip, including: Visiting local schools, learning about the healthcare system, going on safari, hiking a portion of Mount Kilimanjaro, and engaging in ample cross-cultural experiences. Brenda was extremely communicative and thoughtful. In planning our travel, we had to revise our itinerary more than once to accommodate changing flights and the number of students in the class. Brenda took this all in stride and was able to find accommodations and experiences that fit our budget. During our two week trip, we felt completely taken care of - the trip felt seamless. We had no stress whatsoever - our only job was to enjoy the vacation and to learn as much as possible. I cannot say enough good about the entire experience with Tanzania Choice Safaris. Our guides were incredible and we felt like we were a part of the Tanzania Choice Safari Family. In terms of communication, service, value for money, reliability, and our tour overall - I would 100% give my strong recommendation to anyone seeking to travel to Tanzania - no matter the budget or complexity of the trip!

Two families (nine people) went on a two-week safari through Tanzania with Dancing Simba. I can highly recommend them! Here's why: It started with the communication beforehand. Super-fast responses, pleasant personal communication, the option to tailor the quote entirely to our wishes, and David and Lucy's helpful input. This immediately gave us confidence. The entire trip was well organised, from pick-up at the airport to drop-off at the airport. Our guides Josh, Buldozer and (as a bonus) Owen were great. They knew a lot about the flora and fauna, were really driven to give us the best possible safari experience (which sometimes meant getting up very early), communicated a lot about the programme, were very flexible in making adjustments to the programme when necessary, knew the parks like the back of their hand, and made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Tanzania is a beautiful country, and we had an unforgettable experience thanks to Dancing Simba!

Our 3-day safari was unforgettable! Stunning landscapes, abundant wildlife, and a guide who really knew the parks inside out. We saw elephants, lions, hippos, and even rare birds. Lodges were comfortable with great views, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend!

My name is Idan. My wife and I came to Tanzania with another couple of friends for our honeymoon. To our delight, we had Tonny as our guide and driver for a week of safari.
I would like to share our wonderful experience with the amazing guide and driver – Tonny!
From the very moment he picked us up from the airport, we could tell what a great person he is. His sensitivity, professionalism, kindness, patience, and the pleasant atmosphere he created for us turned our honeymoon into the best experience we could have imagined. He was always ready to answer any question we had, and even waited for our questions so he could explain, elaborate, and share as much information as possible out of his own goodwill.
It was so hard for us to say goodbye to him that even during the rest of our trip in Zanzibar, we found ourselves talking every day about how much we missed him. He is exceptionally friendly and pleasant, making us feel safe and comfortable at every moment. Even when there were technical issues with the vehicle, he gave us complete confidence, assured us that everything was under control, and resolved every problem.
I truly hope that every tourist coming for a safari will have the chance to experience it with Tonny. I am certain that such a trip will be unforgettable. Amazing! Super easy to deal with 😍
The trip was super amazing!!!! I cannot tell you if I can give more than 5 star I would. They picked us up at the hotel we were staying at and safely sent us back to the same hotel before our next flight. They upgraded our hotel to a luxury hotel option. I cannot express how beautiful and surreal the experience was. Our tour guide Kasimba was soooooo AMAZING he knew where to go to get the best view of the animals, he can be a bit adventurous but trust him to bring you around to the best views. My goodness what a surreal surreal experience. Dealing with the Mara Triangles management was very easy and understanding. I will definitely come back for another trip to Tanzania with my child. I was pregnant when I went to this trip, and it was just smooth sailing & a very unforgettable experience.
