Professionally Executed Gorilla Trek Tour
Bamboo Eco Tours provided a well executed and professionally arranged gorilla trek experience for us out of Kigali, Rwanda to Bwindi National Park in Uganda. They were very responsive to all questions and requests while initially arranging the tour and made a number of recommendations with regards to activities to include. They provided all needed information for both the tour itself and advance preparation. They were very responsive to questions. In addition, our guide was professional, friendly and prompt. Our accommodation was first class with attentive staff and very comfortable rooms. While the price of the trekking permits is quite high (as set by the government), the cost of the remainder of the tour was very affordable. It was very remarkable to see the gorillas in their habitat - a once in a lifetime opportunity. Would highly recommend Bamboo Eco Tours.

Unforgettable Safari and Kilimanjaro Hike – Highly Recommended!
I booked two tours with [Agency Name] in July: a 5-day safari together with my partner and a 6-day Kilimanjaro hike on my own. Both experiences were absolutely fantastic, and I can only recommend this company!
From the very beginning, Vincent was always available to answer my many questions and supported me before and during both trips. The choice of lodges and hotels during the safari was excellent – my partner and I felt comfortable and well taken care of at every stop. Our safari guide was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, making the whole journey even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, we couldn’t do the stargazing part of the safari – but everything else more than made up for it.
The Kilimanjaro hike was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As a woman traveling alone, I always felt safe and very well looked after. The guide and the whole mountain crew were kind, attentive, and professional. The food on the way to the summit was not only plentiful but also surprisingly delicious. I truly appreciated the care and support I received throughout this challenging but rewarding journey.

We had booked a safari with CKC Travels for August 2025, but unfortunately had to cancel due to my spouse’s health. From the very beginning, John was extremely professional, patient, and courteous throughout the entire process of planning and booking our trip. Outstanding and responsive
We worked with Zephania to plan our dream vacation through Tanzania Roadside Expeditions and they far exceeded our expectations. Zephania was flexible, meeting with us on video through WhatsApp several times, adjusting our itinerary professionally and quickly. We were updated each step of the way.
Our safari tour guide, Laurian, was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife. He knew so much about each animal we saw and each area we passed through. He became like part of our family during our 6 night mainland safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Central Serengeti, and Northern Serengeti.
We then transitioned to 4 nights in Zanzibar, also a part of our package with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions. Our driver, Salum and tour guide for Stone Town and Prison Island, Juma, were knowledgeable and helpful. They even located a pair of sunglasses I left behind on one tour!
The entire trip was unforgettable. We highly recommend Tanzania Roaside Expeditions for planning your trip of a lifetime! We learned a lot and had fun every step of the way.
