Outstanding and responsive
We worked with Zephania to plan our dream vacation through Tanzania Roadside Expeditions and they far exceeded our expectations. Zephania was flexible, meeting with us on video through WhatsApp several times, adjusting our itinerary professionally and quickly. We were updated each step of the way.
Our safari tour guide, Laurian, was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife. He knew so much about each animal we saw and each area we passed through. He became like part of our family during our 6 night mainland safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Central Serengeti, and Northern Serengeti.
We then transitioned to 4 nights in Zanzibar, also a part of our package with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions. Our driver, Salum and tour guide for Stone Town and Prison Island, Juma, were knowledgeable and helpful. They even located a pair of sunglasses I left behind on one tour!
The entire trip was unforgettable. We highly recommend Tanzania Roaside Expeditions for planning your trip of a lifetime! We learned a lot and had fun every step of the way.
We were picked up at the airport by Doreen and were in good hands. She welcomed us and assisted with a lost bag issue from the airlines. All of the people we worked with through Tanzania Roadside Expeditions were helpful, thorough and made our vacation amazing!

A very pleasant Kenyan Safari trip.
Driver William is very experienced and comes highly recommended. The Sopa Series hotels and Fairmont Hotel are also highly recommended. We were very satisfied with the meals and accommodations throughout the trip, and we saw a great number of wild animals. Our only regret was not seeing leopards or the wildebeest river crossing. We will consider coming again.

Unforgettable Safari with Eddie – Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris
Our safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to the amazing care of Eddie (Edward) and Goodluck. We were a group of four and everything was perfectly organised from start to finish. The safari car was very comfortable and well prepared, the accommodations kept surprising us, and even wine and beer were included throughout the journey.
A special thanks to Goodluck, who arranged all the accommodations and was always helpful and kind. And especially to our guide Eddie (Edward), who made the trip extraordinary. He knew everything about the animals, the land, and the people, and he was not only an excellent guide but also a great driver, funny, caring, and even taught us some Swahili.
We also received thoughtful gifts like a personalised water bottle, t-shirt, and mug, which made the experience even more special. Eddie, Goodluck, and the whole team turned our safari into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Highly recommended!

Amazing!
The three days we spent in the Marai Mara were truly amazing. It was my first time on a safari, but I was able to see giraffes, lions, leopards, and cheetahs up close. I was deeply moved by the beauty and majesty of the wild animals. I will never forget the sunsets, the sounds of the animals, and the murmuring of the river that I saw and heard in the Masai Mara. It's definitely one of the places I want to visit again. And Ben was the best driver and safari guide. Not only was he kind and energetic, but he also had a wealth of knowledge about wildlife and taught us how to enjoy the safari. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to him.

We recently returned from a 9-day safari in Tanzania with Crater Explorer’s, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Before booking, we went through a number of different offers—many of them more expensive—but, after reading good reviews, we decided to take a chance on Crater Explorer’s, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made.
The company was professional, reliable, and well-organized from start to finish. Our guide, Mr. Charles, was simply outstanding. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, landscapes, and local culture brought every moment of the safari to life. He always knew the best spots for viewing animals and had an incredible ability to spot wildlife we would have otherwise missed. Beyond his expertise, he was warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about making our journey special. He really loves what he does!
We visited breathtaking parks and reserves, witnessed the Big Five up close, and enjoyed comfortable accommodations along the way. Every day felt like a new adventure, and we always felt safe and well taken care of.
What began as a leap of faith became the journey of a lifetime. We wholeheartedly recommend them—and especially Mr. Charles—to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.
