Unbelievable Journey across the Heart of Tanzania!
We booked the 8 days 7 nights Big Migration. It was a fantastic adventure and the safari far exceeded all our expectation. The service was unique a from the beginning to the last minute. Dula our guide, an incredibly great person, he explained and told us a lot about the animals. He had insane instinct for everything that happened and when. Despite the strenuous ride he had an eye for the surroundings everytime. We saw the Big 5, waited patiently with him for the Big Migration and experienced the crossing! Unforgettable moments that we will never forget in lifetime. There was not a minute in which Dula and Donald (son of the owner) did not take time for our well-being. The accommodations were indescribably beautiful, lovingly furnished and very luxurious, which we would not have expected Bushcamps. All our expectations were far exceeded. The food was always delicious from morning to night and especially valuable were the shared meals in the middle of the Serengeti and the other parks. The food in the lodges, the performances and the people on site have always given us great joy, there was a lot to laugh about, at all times. We got a lot more for our money than we had hoped for. The safari was perfectly organized and we will never forget what we experienced!

An unforgettable experience with professional and attentive service
I highly recommend Mermar Safaris for the kindness, reliability, and efficiency of their staff in organizing the safari. The guide who accompanied me was cheerful, very professional, and attentive, always accommodating my requests and answering all my questions, whether logistical, cultural about Uganda, or related to the local nature and wildlife.
All activities were carried out with perfect punctuality, and everything was organized down to the finest detail. The accommodation included in the safari (Ishwa Game Lodge) was simply stunning, with an incredible view over the savannah below. There could not have been a better landscape, nor such attentive service.
In addition to the game drives and a boat trip included in the package, the guide and lodge staff also took me to watch the sunrise over two twin crater lakes and suggested other unique places to explore, where I could also buy local products beyond the usual tourist circuits.
The 3-day package I booked allowed for several game drives in the Park, which gave me the chance to see a wide variety of animals on each outing, including some of the rarer ones such as lions. The boat trip on one of the Park’s lakes offered a different perspective of the safari, with hippos, many bird species, and other animals coming to the shores to refresh themselves.
The van used for the safari was new and very comfortable, ideal both for traveling to the National Park and for the game drives within it. Thanks to the guide, I felt comfortable and completely safe at all times - on the way to the Park, during stops in towns or villages, and inside the Park itself.

An Exceptional Experience
From the communication beforehand to the hotel pickup, the transportation to the park, and the safari itself, everything was great.
The drivers were all friendly and helpful, and my safari guide Danford was excellent.
Saw way more than I expected, and we lucked out and were 15 feet away as a small herd of elephants drank and cooled off in the water.
A really cool adventure, and worth every penny.

Very professional and outstanding agency

Exceeding my expectation
A friend of mine unintentionally suggested Tall Masai Safari. When Benson suggested routes to me, he was really kind and patient, and the cost was really reasonable. Therefore, the journey to Amboseli was unforgettable. In addition to being a skilled driver, Patrick, our tour guide, helps us locate animals and gently acquaint them with them.
The excursion was rather enjoyable. Next time I get the chance, I'll go in a different direction. John, for anyone seeking a purposeful and comprehensive safari adventure in the desert. I'm grateful for this amazing journey!

Bespoke, thoughtful and determined for us to have the best time!
Starting with the planning, Silas and Robert were incredibly helpful and helped produce about the dozen or so iterations of our tour. We started with a 'standard' tour but then added items we wanted to experience such as the migration and they worked to our budget, explaining why certain options would add more cost.
They were very responsive to my queries and provided all the details for me to make the deposit and payment via bank transfer.
The tour itself was incredible and it was a combination of a truly amazing guide who knew where to find the animals and was clearly very interested in the wildlife - thank you Edward! - and also the choice of accommodation which was wonderful!
Communication throughout was excellent, even informing me when Edward got held up for a passing official.

Joshua and Gladys were extremely professional, kind and clear! Couldn’t fault them.
We had only three days to explore the Serengeti. This happened and we were able to see 71 sightings of animals, 4/5 of the big five! We did manage to get to nearly see the rhino, but missed it by a millisecond. Our operator, Joshua was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The food at the lodge was amazing and the lodge itself was protected by the ranger and Masai. Life changing experience.

Reagan was the best Safari guide and driver.
Our experience with Elydrea was outstanding from the very beginning. We were provided with a brand-new, reliable jeep just for the two of us, which made the trip even more special. Our guide, Reagan, was always kind, attentive, and ready to help. He tailored the safari to our needs, recommending the best parks and lodges along the way.
During the game drives, he always managed to get us to the sightings before the other vehicles, shared fascinating insights about the wildlife, and even gave us a high-quality binocular that allowed us to spot the shyest and most distant animals. He was also wonderful company during meals, making every moment enjoyable.
A special mention goes to the experience with the private chef in Ngorongoro – simply unforgettable and the cherry on top of an already amazing journey. Truly a “wow” adventure. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Made the safari stress free, organised and reliable whilst ensuring a brilliant time
When dealing with Kelvin he was brilliant, he promptly responded to WhatsApp messages before, during and after. He not only helped me do what I wanted to but gave excellent local knowledge and checked up almost every day ensuring everything was going as I envisioned. I previously went on a safari with a different operator and can really appreciate the service Kelvin offered. It makes me want to go again just for Kelvin, he was brilliant. I cannot say anything bad about this company and can assure you it would worth going if you've got Kelvin managing the safari. An experienced, trustworthy individual who inspires those around him to deliver excellent service. Saw many amazing animals and was a great experience.
