Joseph is an outstanding guide
Had a great 18 days with Joseph again, our driver/guide, who we have travelled with on 3 different trips over the last 25yr. He is a bird expert and knows where the best spots are for catching anything on film. He speaks great English and is always dependable. He also knows how to get you close to something if there are a lot of other vehicles in the area. He is the BEST! All travel arrangements were as promised and they even got us a last minute booking at Lake Masek Tent Camp, our African favorite.

Once in a liftome experience!
We did an unforgettable beautiful 12-day tented safari with Sunset Africa. We started at Tarangire National park in which we saw, next to the ‘normal’ zebras, wilder beasts, impala’s, giraffes, warthogs and more, an amazing number of Elephants and we had our baptism of fire with lions next to the campsite.
After Tarangire we went to Lake Manyara were spent a day driving along the lake where we saw all kind of animal in het bush and millions of flamingos.
Although the first two national parks were impressive the tour did build up to better and better. Ngorongoro crater is a truly beautiful place where we added hippo’s and (nine!) rhinos to our list. In the Serengeti National Park, we saw a really unbelievable amount of wilder beast and zebra migrating through the area and we completed the Big Five with a number of leopards. Since we had a couple of days in this big park we were able to get away from the standard locations we could really enjoy the various landscapes and the variety of animals.
Next to the wonderful landscape and the number and variety of animals we were spoiled by our excellent driver/guide Ben who was able to spot and identify animals at enormous distances and could tell all kind of background stories about the animals, the parks and Tanzania.
Of course, there are things to improve like a slightly bigger tent and slightly better chairs and diner table but that really does not change the way we feel about this adventure. The car was in good condition and the served breakfast, lunch and dinner was tasteful. Public campsites are basic, but we still feel that our choice for those campsites instead of lodges by which we could add a couple of days to the safari was the right choice. Next time we would consider special campsites.
Guide Ben and Sunset Safari, thank you for this experience and we would like to recommend you to all travellers. We hope to contact you for our next safari soon.

Fantastic Trip
We found out about Breakdown Safaris trough Tripadvisor. Having no clue were to go, which agency to trust and how many days the trip should be, we gave it a shot and contacted Kathy and Fanuel. Thank god, as those two organized a trip which I will never forget. A trip which will be difficult to top, if even possible. Kathy has done a great job in putting together our expectations to get a taste of the African wildlife in the shortest period of time. We chose a trip to Selous Game Reserve in Tansania, with a four night stay in Selous River Camp. After being picked up by Fanuel, who is by far the best guide I can imagine, from Dar Es Salam Airport, we went on a 6 hour road trip to our lovely camp. One might prefer a luxurious camp, but if you would like to experience nature, this is the place to go. Squirrels jumping around your tent, elephants passing through the camp and bush babies calling you at night, it was an extraordinary experience. Our breakfast, lunch boxes in the wild and dinner at a cosy open dining area were great and we could not have been happier. During the afternoons one could enjoy a beer looking over the river and observing hippos and crocodiles.
On our first day we enjoyed a walking safari to learn more about the trails of animals and all plants around. I won't forget the "wait-a-bit" tree Followed by a game drive. I need to say we were extremely lucky as Hyenas, elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalos, lots of babies,... showed their faces. The next days were filled with a boat safari and game drives and luck followed us, showing us all the different animals. Lunches were super exciting with a little camping table in the middle of nowhere next to the car. Don't worry it is safe but still it feels exciting.
Fanuel has been a great guide, teaching us a lot about the wildlife but also being a lot of fun. I would like to thank both, Kathy for organizing such a memorable trip and Fanuel for all his care and eagerness of providing us with an unforgettable trip.
We will for sure come back to Africa and for sure, ask Kathy and Fanuel to organize another adventure.

An exhilarating yet humbling once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Kevin and his team were extremely organized and the communication lines between each step were intricately connected to create a smooth journey from one area to another, one experience to another. He helped us coordinate our personal adventures that can only be experienced in uganda but ask went above and beyond to assist us and help us get connected with people to assist us along the way with multiple community outreach events. It would have taken over 5 months for us to plan it all on our own but without kevin's help, we had a master plan in one month. Thank you Kevin!!

An amazing experience!
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. The people I met were friendly and the scenery was stunning. I was more than happy with both the accommodation and food, although a couple of times our accommodation changed. It would have been good to be closer to Sossusvlei to avoid such an early start, however I cannot fault the accommodation we had.
John Cooper looked after us extremely well and went out of his way to ensure that all was satisfactory.
Highlights of the trip included morning, afternoon and evening game drives (with G & Ts if desired), game walks, the animal sightings - including a pangolin, bat-eared foxes and an aardwolf, accommodation at 'The Fort' and the Pangolin tours.
I wouldn't hesitate to travel with African Adventures Safari Company again.

Pleasant and Carefree Safari with Relaxed and Expert Guidance
One of the reasons for us to choose Bella Africa was the idea that they only work with female guides. When a male guide showed up in our Entebbe Hotel on the starting day of our safari we were unpleasantly surprised. Bella seems to have intended to tell us that our female guide was not available but for technical reason the message did not reach us. During the 15 days of our safari Ben Aloysius Kyenyune (our guide) proved to be a nice guy and a good and expert safari guide. We have visited beautiful places and saw a great number of animals. We especially enjoyed the tranquility at some remote locations, like Kidepo NP. The accommodation was quite simple but good. Recommended!
