The adventure started from the airport
4/5

We had two drivers on account of one shuttle breaking down. Theodore our second driver rescued us and made up some of that lost time. Ride was generally comfortable and the free wifi is a plus

Excellent, efficient and professional tour operator - highly recommend!
5/5

We had an absolutely incredible time on safari, and we would highly recommend Spirit of Kenya to anyone planning a safari.

A huge thank you goes to our guide, Erastus. He is extremely knowledgeable and also kind and attentive. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five during our trip in the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru. He navigated the bumpy roads with ease and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout. Erastus has a talent for photography — he helped us capture stunning shots that will be cherished forever! He also went the extra mile to help us buy some woolly hats from a local vendor - it was great to buy from a local Maasai family’s business rather than some of the bigger touristy shops along the way.

From the first contact, Laura from Spirit of Kenya impressed us with her professionalism, responsiveness, and efficiency. She patiently answered all our (many!) questions, made great recommendations, and ensured every detail was handled.
The payment process was straightforward (with a transfer fee on both ends, UK and Kenya), and even though we were initially nervous about this, Laura was reassuring and provided prompt updates when payments were received.

Spirit of Kenya provided a good range of accommodation to choose from to suit different budgets. They arranged wonderful places for us to stay. At the Soroi Mara Bush Camp, we were delighted to be upgraded to the Luxury Migration Camp, which was one of the highlights of our trip. At Lake Nakuru, we stayed at The Cliff, which offered a great views of the sunrise.

While the price is slightly higher than some other companies, we felt it was absolutely worth it. The professionalism, attention to detail, and overall experience delivered excellent value. We were reassured by Spirit of Kenya’s excellent reviews and strong social media presence, and they lived up to their reputation.

Exceptionally well organized, and professional. Trustworthy.!
5/5

Our experience with Pallid Safari was absolutely amazing. I traveled with my two daughters, and from start to finish, everything was seamless and perfectly organized. We explored both Masai Mara and Amboseli, and the wildlife was beyond anything we expected.

A truly unforgettable moment was coming across six cheetahs early one morning—they practically posed for us! Our guide, Lee, was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly patient. He made every game drive engaging and memorable for all of us.

The lodges were comfortable, the scenery breathtaking, and we always felt safe and well cared for. it was the trip of a lifetime!

Memorable Great Migration and Gorilla Trek!
5/5

I contacted safaris by Jon for a customized great migration and gorilla trekking tour.

The experience start to finish was amazing. Jon is very communicative and offers many options. We ended up going with a 10 day tour through Kenya and Uganda. We explored Amboseli national park and Maasai Mara Reserve in Kenya for the start of our trip. The lodges Jon booked were outstanding. The food, staff and rooms were some of the best we have ever stayed in.

The second portion of our trip we headed to Uganda to see the gorillas. We added a second day to the trek which I am so glad we did. Both treks were totally different and you got to see two different families. The experience was one that I will always remember. The lodge in Uganda was equally amazing and offered massages and laundry when you returned from a day of trekking.

This trip was once in a lifetime and if you want to have a smooth experience book with Jon. He is very easy to get ahold of, answers all questions quickly, easily customized a tour based on requests and even provides a trip guide before you leave to help with packing and other things you need to know.

My trip was absolutely amazing and it will be hard to top this experience. I highly recommend booking with safaris by Jon

Booking this safari was the fulfillment of a dream we both shared, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
5/5

Booking this safari was the fulfillment of a dream my fiancée and I always shared, and everything turned out absolutely perfect. From the clear and friendly communication, the excellent service, and the great value for money, to the reliability and the unforgettable tour itself — it was beyond our expectations.

A special mention to Thomas, our driver and guide, who was simply amazing, to Jeffry, who helped us so much and truly made the whole experience the best it could be, and to Kennedy, who guided us through the booking process and made sure our reservation and details were perfectly taken care of.

We couldn’t be more grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime journey.

Staff gives excellent service; our driver and guide went the extra mile to cater to our needs
5/5

There were 6 of us in the safari tour: our ages were late 50s to early 80s. I had problems in ambulation as I have two prosthetic lower limbs. From the airport pickup in Kilimanjaro up to airport sendoff to the Seronera Airstrip in the Serengeti, our able and efficient driver and tour guide, ZABLON, took care of us, going the extra mile to care for our needs. He provided a footstool so as I will have less difficulty in climbing up the safari vehicle. He made sure everyone is feeling all right during the beginning of the day and at the end of our adventures in the evening. Zablon made sure I will walk less by driving nearer washrooms or to our designated camp tents. Those little things really mattered a lot. Zablon also proved that he is an expert in the national parks, as he was patient to point out and explain the wild animals to us. He took a lot of time exploring the Tangire National Parks, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater. I highly recommend Benson Safaris to anyone who is interested in having a great once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Price-performance, reliable and well organized
5/5

It was amazing, we saw so many animals. I haven't even been able to process everything yet. We get the best value for our money. David was alway approachable and helpful. Everything went smoothly, we had excellent guides. Only the border crossing into Tanzania and back was a bit stressful.

Friendly, reliable, understanding and thoughtful.
5/5

A special trip for me to return after 77 years to the country, town and nursing home (now a clinic) where I was born and to visit the house where I lived for the first 13 months of my life. Clyde was incredibly helpful in finding guides who were willing and able to decipher tiny black and white photos of Gweru, the Great Ruins and Victoria Falls so that I could see where my parents, sister and self had been.
Aside from that very personal experience I enjoyed some wonderful wildlife viewings on small safaris with local people who.took great pride (understandably and rightly) in their beautiful country. The accommodation ranged from delightfully quirky to utterly unique and beautiful. The staff were friendly and seemed to enjoy anyone who wanted to join in with the singing, dancing and music. They were also knowledgeable about the fauna, flora, history and politics. All of this added to a remarkable trip.
Clyde was always available to sort out a couple of tiny glitches and even arranged airport transport for me at the end of my trip even though I was returning from another country! Thanks to him and Tailormade Africa my whole experience was extremely smooth and trouble free.
