Very helpful, fast replies and kind.
5/5

We booked a 8 day Budget Safari Tour, which was at the end 5 days Safari, day 1 was pick up from the airport & city tour in Arusha which was also very interesting, day 7 was a guided tour to the Hadzabe People at Lake Eyasi und day 8 drop off at the airport. The other days we went to Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Tarangire, where we could see all the big 5 and had a great tour guide. Erick was very helpful when we wanted to make an upgrade for bedded tents instead of a bush camp. He always answered very fast & wanted the best solution for us. All in all we were very happy with the tour, except from the fact that we were never a real group, instead of that people stayed at different accomodations which led to long waiting times.

In my experience, I felt deceived and misled by this company.
1/5

Our 12 day tour had some highlights (mostly the animals), but many lowlights including non payment for accommodation and park fees and extensive delays at border crossings.
We had paid in full for our 12 day tour prior to departure, but continually had problems with accommodation and park entry due to non payment by Africa Marvel. Every time I called them while on tour to find out the problem, the owner was at the bank trying to arrange finance to keep our tour running. It seems all the money we had paid was being used to keep the business afloat, and not provide the tours we paid for. Even our 4 day tour to Rwanda to see the gorillas was cancelled the NIGHT before we were due to leave, despite promises made during the previous week all was on track. It was finally admitted by Africa Marvel that they never made ANY of the bookings for this tour, despite taking our full payment. Everything they have been telling us was a lie - they have been behaving criminally and should be put out of business before they can take other peoples money.
Of course, they have promised (many times) to repay all monies owed to our group, but deadlines have come and gone, and they have made no real effort to repay, and we don't hold out any hope of seeing our money.
Do yourself a favour and steer clear of them.

From Planning to Wildlife: A Honeymoon Beyond Expectations
5/5

Our honeymoon with Oldbeast Vacations was nothing short of magical. It was an experience that touched our hearts and created memories we’ll cherish forever. From the very first moment, Mwanne’s thoughtful and personalized planning took all the stress away, allowing us to simply immerse ourselves in the wonder ahead.

The warmth and kindness we felt when Mwanne, the operations manager, greeted us on day one set the tone for the entire trip. His detailed briefing made us feel safe, cared for, and excited, knowing every little detail was taken care of with love and precision.

Charles, our incredible guide, truly brought the safari to life. His passion, knowledge, and genuine kindness made every moment unforgettable. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to witness the majestic Big Five and countless other awe-inspiring animals in their natural home. One of the most breathtaking moments was seeing the Great Migration at the Mara River crossing. It was a scene so powerful and humbling that it moved us deeply. If you’re dreaming of a safari, please ask for Charles. He’s more than a guide; he’s a keeper of unforgettable moments.

Our accommodations felt like a home away from home. They were comforting, beautifully set amidst nature, and welcoming in a way that made us feel completely relaxed. Every meal was a delight, nourishing not just our bodies but our spirits as well. One of the most touching experiences was visiting a Maasai village. There, we connected with the people, their traditions, and their way of life. It was an encounter that opened our eyes and hearts.

This journey went beyond all our hopes. Oldbeast Vacations gave us more than a honeymoon. They gifted us a soul-stirring adventure that we will carry with us forever. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking a safari experience that is truly unforgettable.

Amazing experience with Earthwings
5/5

What an experience we had with Earthwings! Definitely recommended. We took a private tour (my wife and I).

Communication with Martin was very fast and easy via email and WhatsApp. Their quote was clear and comprehensive. We also had a call with him to discuss the quote in detail, and he was available to provide any clarification we needed. They showed flexibility in accommodating what we would like to do during the tour (since it was a private tour). The pick up from the airport was on time. The car was in great condition, and the drop-off was at our hotel in Nairobi.

Our guide, Jayjay (I hope I spelled it correctly), was amazing, super friendly, always with a smile, and ensured we had the best experience at all times. He drives very well and safely and is skilled at finding wildlife. He is also very knowledgeable and could answer all our questions on the Maasai Mara, culture, animals, environment, etc. He is from the Maasai Mara, which is really important! Many guides are from other areas, such as Nairobi, who may have less knowledge compared to someone born and raised there.

They also gave us an accommodation upgrade! Which was the cherry on the cake. They also gave us safari hats that we got to keep as souvenirs.

We came back with the best experience of our lives so far.

The Safari That Stole Our Hearts: An Unforgettable Adventure with Wivi Agency
5/5

Booking our dream five-day, four-night safari with Wivi Agency was like stepping into a storybook we’d only ever imagined. From the moment we arrived, every heartbeat of this adventure felt magical. The vastness of Tarangire National Park, the awe-inspiring beauty of Ngorongoro Crater, and the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, each game drive was a soul-stirring journey into the wild’s raw, breathtaking wonder.

But this trip wasn’t just about the incredible wildlife. Wivi Agency gifted us with intimate moments in the lives of three local tribes, weaving culture and humanity into our adventure. These encounters weren’t just visits; they were bridges into worlds so different yet so beautifully human, filling our hearts with respect and connection.

From the first step until the last, we felt utterly cared for. The seamless organization by Joshua, Naomi, and Emanuel allowed us to surrender completely to the experience, never once worrying about logistics or timing. Every meal, every wake-up call, every departure was perfectly timed, allowing us to relax and savor every moment without distraction.

Our private tour vehicle, spacious and open-topped, became our sanctuary on wheels. With room for six but just the three of us, it was pure comfort and freedom, offering uninterrupted views of the breathtaking landscapes and elusive creatures. The thrill of spotting wildlife up close, in that open vehicle, was simply unforgettable.

And then there was Laizer, our driver, guide, and guardian of memories. Words can’t capture how much he elevated our experience. He went beyond his role, always pushing that little extra distance to bring us face-to-face with the animals. Where others might have settled for convenience, Laizer chased the extraordinary. His warmth, knowledge, and passion turned every moment with him into a treasured lesson, a story shared, a laugh enjoyed.

He made sure we were never thirsty or uncomfortable, quietly stocking the vehicle with water and Coke, anticipating every need without us having to ask. Even when our flight was delayed, Laizer waited patiently, holding a sign with our names and greeting us with a smile that melted away any travel fatigue. Our brief tour of Arusha, capped off by a delicious meal at a local spot he recommended, felt like a welcome home.

Each night, we rested in accommodations that felt like oases, five-star comfort wrapped in genuine kindness. Clean, cozy, with wonderful food and staff whose warmth touched our souls, making us feel more like family than guests.

If there’s a next time, there’s no question, we will choose Wivi Agency again. From the very first email to the bittersweet farewell, every detail was flawless. Every expectation not just met, but exceeded. They are true professionals who don’t just organize tours, they craft memories, moments, and magic.

Thank you, Wivi Agency, for this unforgettable chapter in our lives. Our hearts are forever full.

The nicest tour experience
5/5

I don’t usually like booking tours because of many bad experiences, however, at the time Ethiopia demanded it. I was so lucky to find Melashu’s company. It’s the most transparent, respectful, informative and well managed tour.
I did the northern Ethiopian route (volcano, Danakil depression etc) and they managed to make me feel comfortable in a difficult weather environment and very safe in an area of conflict.
It’s incredible to have such yummy food in the middle of nowhere!
Thank you,

An experience of a lifetime!
5/5

This was my first time visiting Tanzania and while I had some expectation, nothing could have prepared me for this most incredible, life changing and humbling experience.

Upon arrival at Mount Kilimanjaro airport, I could instantly feel the peace and serenity in the air.
All arrangements were made through Wada Adventures and Trekking and upon arrival, we were welcomed with open arms by our guide, William and safely transported to the hotel.

The following day, we had an early start as we headed to Tarangire National Park. The safari was amazing and filled with an abundance of wildlife sightings. Our experienced Wada guide was knowledgeable and ensured all our needs were met.

During the week, we visited the Cultural centre, Maasai markets and experienced the true life and organised chaos of Arusha city centre.
We always felt safe with William and the Wada Adventures team.

Wada Adventures were flexible to our arrangements and accommodating during the course of stay. Nothing was too much to ask.

Asante Sana William, you are a true gem and I wish the greatest success in the years ahead!

Trained guides, organizational flexibility and knowledge of the area
5/5

A wonderful journey to discover the country's largest parks. Big Apes offers a wide range of dates and allows you to tailor the itinerary to your travel needs. Over 11 days, we explored the eastern part of the country, discovering ever-changing habitats and landscapes, spotting hundreds of animals, including all the Big Five (yes, even the leopard, we were lucky!). Don't miss the Chimpanzee trekking and Gorilla trekking to immerse yourself in the rainforest on the border with Congo. Making everything truly unique was the experience and professionalism of our guide, Ronaldo, who led us on sightings, helping us better understand the animals' behavioral dynamics and characteristics. He was always very kind, punctual, and available to chat and answer numerous questions and curiosities. Among the activities we enjoyed most, and which we recommend including in your tour, were the boat safaris, offering the opportunity to see hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, elephants, and an extraordinary variety of birds up close. All the accommodations were very welcoming and well organized, dinners with excellent and varied food.

Professional service provider
4/5

During the planning stage, I have communicated with multiple tour operators and found Budget Holiday Safaris quite professional and prompt in responses. They have shared a very precise itinerary and messages were quite clear. While reached in Kenya, we found the cost is a slightly higher than the other operators/than other groups, but the service was quite up to the mark, except the midway transfer to other vehicle. Our agent was very much helpful and supportive to address our needs. Overall "recommended".
