Good Safari but
3/5

Overall great Safari experience and the driver was extremely helpful and knew his stuff. However I was disappointed with the accommodation that was advised for this package. Way below what we were assured.

My Tanzanian adventure
5/5

I was on a 5 day safari with Karibu Tanzania, which I can highly recomend. They are highly proffosional and with a nice staff, whom we enjoyed a bottle of vine with one of the safaridays at the basecamp.
We camped at the safari park as well which was a great experience.

All in all, great company and great people!

Our 4 days Adventure to Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National Parks
5/5

We may never get this experience again, so I'm grateful we went with East African Jungle Safaris. Fred answered all my questions beforehand; our guide Joe was a fabulous companion for our 4 day trip to Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National Parks. Our party of four was very comfortable in the 4-wheel drive Toyota van. Joe was not only an excellent driver and wildlife guide, he is also passionate about his land and taught us so much about the local cultures. Joe was also very accommodating of any request to stop for photo ops, restrooms and refreshments. For our moderate budget, lodging at Bwindi view was far beyond expectations, with great views, personal attention and delicious meals.

5 Star Excellent Service Best African Travel Agency
5/5

The service was excellent from the initial booking process to the safari itself. Our travel agent Kenya Bush Excursions tailored the safari to our existing travels plans and interests.
Santos was very quick on response of the email as we beat the deadline of our personal Job leave. The Itinerary was good, and on the pick-up date at our destination at Nakumatt The Junction that is located at Ngong Road Nairobi we meet Santos and The Driver (Githinji) They gave us few minutes to do some small shopping.
They were very professional and responded quickly and in detail to our enquiries that we enquired through their website portal. I had absolute faith that the safari would be professionally conducted. Driver/Guide (Githinji) was an excellent tour guide with experience, knowledgeable and flexible, he enabled us to get the most out of the experience. I highly recommend Kenya Bush Excursions.

Good safari to Selous and Mikumi
4/5

We had a nice trip to Selous and Mikumi. The owner replied quickly to e-mails and any questions we had. The driver was very punctual, took good care while driving and treated the animals in the park with respect, he also had excellent eye sight and often saw animals before we did. The cook was a good cook and prepared nice meals for us. We enjoyed out trip very much, the only slight drawback was the distance between the two parks, which resulted in one day just driving to get from Selous to Mikumi, without time for sight seeing.

Highly recommended wild coast photo tour with photos, experiences and memories for a lifetime!
5/5

We spent 8 days in June on the Wandering the Wild Coast Photo Workshop organised by Tailor Made Safaris and Emil von Maltitz, a tour aimed at photographing the stunning beaches, mountains, waterfalls and myriad other features along a portion of the Wild Coast in the Eastern Cape. On trips like this, our aim is to learn new techniques and tips to improve our photography, take a few memorable photos, see some new and spectacular sights and have a good fun holiday in the process. The trip was all that and much more. Our guide on this trip, Emil, in addition to being a wonderful and passionate photographer, is incredibly knowledgable about both the theory and practice of virtually any aspect of photography that we asked him about...the perfect combination for a photo guide when your key objective is to learn and improve. Photography and sights aside, the trip was booked and carried out with almost clockwork precision in spite of a few of our stops being in places with no roads or electricity, let alone cell phone reception. The catering was varied, ample and delicious and the stay extremely comfortable throughout.
This was our second photo trip with Tailor Made Safaris and Emil and something tells me that it will not be our last!

Review about Nairobi National Park by missbaxter
Overall rating
5/5

We stayed at the Nairobi Tent Camp in Nairobi National Park. Really nice accommodations. Hot water bottles in the beds and morning french-pressed coffee delivered to tents was a really nice touch. We saw black and white rhino within the first 24 hours of entering the park. Two visits to David Sheldricks Wildlife Trust center in Nairobi was life-changing.

My group was able to see a lot of wildlife, including elephants and cheetahs. We stayed at Tortilis Camp. The accommodations were really nice, with great service and really good food. I highly recommend a visit to Amboseli and a stay at Tortilis.

At Amboseli National Park (Kenya) you are guaranteed to meet the African plains elephant
Overall rating
4/5

Between the dates of June 21st - 26th 2015, I was at Amboseli National Park in Kenya, a park that is four hours drive away from the capital city in Nairobi. Alternatively you have flights from Wilson airport in Nairobi. At the entrance of the park we were greeted with a heavy presence of a stern but friendly security agents.
The park, located on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa (the highest free standing mountain on earth); boasts a high concentration of African plains elephants and a healthy population of spotted hyenas. I didn't get to see lions but felt their presence every night as they declared their dominance of the animal kingdom with roars that silenced all night sounds including the sounds of night insects.
The temperatures at the park varied from hot during the day to relatively cold at night. But I enjoyed my stay at Amboseli Serena lodge where they had extra beddings for those averse to cold nights like me. The food at my hotel was satisfactory and the breakfast superb.
The community surrounding the park are a friendly lot and add to the relaxed atmosphere. A downside to my stay at the park was that the game drives are a dusty affair and I should have carried a dust mask with me. Overall I give Amboseli a thumbs up for the elephant population.
