So impressive - have never had a more positive experience with a tour company or trip planner
I cannot speak highly enough about Ubuntu! I emailed enquiries to a number of operators and Paul rang me the next day. After 45 minutes on the phone ascertaining what I roughly was looking for and sharing his extensive personal experience of Southern Africa, he had a detailed proposal to me within 48 hours that despite a couple of minor tweaks was exactly what we were hoping for. Paul designed an itinerary that was varied, individualised and thoughtful.
It was the trip of a lifetime! Despite a good number of transfers, internal small flights and other arrangements it went without a hitch. All the tour operators and companies we dealt with were friendly, reliable and efficient leading to a stress free, fantastic experience. Our lodges and safari stays were all so different giving a broad range of environs, wildlife and surrounds. The standard of everything was first rate.
Throughout the entire process Paul was in communication with updates, always available for even the most silly of questions and so helpful. Ubuntu also have staff and contacts in Africa should you need help (we did not) which added a further layer of security and reassurance.
If there was a 6 star rating I would give it.

Awesome Experience
Our trip was perfectly planned and organized by Silver Spark Safaris. We were warmly picked up from the airport upon arrival and headed straight to Maasai Mara for a memorable 7days safari. Our guide, Samwel, was exceptional, knowledgeable about nature, patient with all our questions and always punctual.
He acutely turns the trip to be what we wanted. Samwel made sure we were in the best spots to see the wildlife during our game drive both in Maasai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. We were thrilled to spot many elephants, cheetahs and even the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro during our game drive in Amboseli.
We loved all the accommodations as they were of good service to and we loved their food too. Lake Nakuru lodge was one of the best hotels we stayed in. Our safari vehicle was comfortable, we used four wheel drive van, spacious and ideal for game viewing, which we much enjoyed, with plenty of drinking water provided each day. We enjoyed every part of our safaris, and generally Silver Spark gave us their promises, their prices are relatively better, I highly recommended them.

The Fastest Service!
We were at Kenya on September 2025, and I've been going to Africa since 2009, working countless tour companies, but Splendid Vacations are by far the fastest company to answer my queries. After I sent the first mail requesting a price for a private safari, Alice answered it, and I had my price, hotel reservations (in high season), full itinerary in two days. Usually it used to take at least a week to decide hotels, etc. It was too good to be true, so I was hesitant till the agent met us at the airport :). Everything was on time, as promised. Our guide Willy was great, he knows the area and animals very well, and as a native Nairobian, on the last day, he took us all the shopping places we need. Splendid Vacations is a Kenya company, and all the agents you talk live in Kenya. Before that, for some other companies, I had to talk with some people in Portugal, Spain. They don't know about the hotels (or knows as much as I do from the net), but Alice even knew people at the hotel and she talked them when I call her for some problems. She was very easily accessible during the safari. I recommend them for anybody. My friends with me had their first safari experience (mine was the 20th) and they had unforgettable times. An unforgettable experience organised by amazing people
This tour was incredible. It was one of the most affordable options for the Kenya & Tanzania tour that we wanted to do. The payment process was smooth, a 50% deposit initially, then the remaining 50% two weeks before the tour begins. Everything was organised perfectly: pick-up from our hotel in Nairobi, long drives to destinations, the border crossing. Our guides (Mayunga, George, Joseph) were friendly and communicative and helped us spot everything in the parks. As for the tour itself, it was magical. Six days in the Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro spotting incredible wildlife will never leave you. Such a unique experience. To top it all off, Rafiki Tembo organised a private sunset evening on the final night in the hills opposite Lake Manyara for me and my partner to celebrate seven years together. Absolutely surreal and unforgettable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering safari. Thank you Rafiki Tembo!

Absolutely unforgettable experience.
2 day trip in Serengeti National Park it was most fantastic part of our life. We chose the professional safari organizer Great Day Safaris.
Our guide knew exactly where to go, and by lunchtime, we had already seen a pride of lions resting under an acacia tree. We enjoyed our picnic in a designated area surrounded by the sounds of birds and distant animal calls. Though it was just one day, the Serengeti left me with memories I’ll never forget. Peaceful and joy.

Beautiful nature and wildlife & peaceful journey.
Out Serengeti day safari was one of the best experiences with the best tour organizer Migo African Safaris. The sheer number of animals is unbelievable, we look out across the plains and there are herds everywhere. The highlight for me was watching a group of elephants cross right in front of our vehicle. We also spotted a cheetah in the distance, which was thrilling. Lunch in the bush, under the shade of a tree, was the perfect break before continuing the adventure. Even though it was just a day, the Serengeti gave me a true safari experience. We will remember this journey.

Our Tanzanian safari was an unforgettable adventure!
We spent four amazing days exploring three incredible parks — Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, and two full days in Serengeti. Every moment was breathtaking.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about nature — we learned so much from him! We were lucky to witness some truly special scenes: a mother lion nursing her cubs, a cheetah chasing an antelope, and so many colorful birds, pumbas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. The landscapes were just as stunning — the Ngorongoro Crater is absolutely sublime, and the sunset we saw in Serengeti was magical.
Regina did a fantastic job organizing everything — the lodges she recommended were excellent, and communication with her was always smooth and helpful. Eric, our driver in Arusha, was also very kind and professional.
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the whole experience and would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable safari in Tanzania.

Helpful and responsive before we arrived. Smooth friendly and efficient on arrival.
First and foremost our guide / driver was exceptional- He was experienced, knowledgeable and taught us so much about the animals, landscape and communities we were seeing. He was brilliant at getting us to see all of the big 5 and others on our collective bucket list of animals (there were 6 in our party). His knowledge of the reserve and park was incredible and meant we saw more animals than I could have hoped. The geep was great for viewing and withstood the bumpy approach roads!
