This 6 day trek via Machame Route gave us memories for a lifetime
Our six-day ascent of Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route was a mix of physical challenge and very emotional journey with HERBIVORE AFRICAN SAFARIS.
The route offers so much variety that every day feels fresh and full of discovery. We started in lush rainforest, where the air was warm and filled with the scent of vegetation, then gradually transitioned into rocky paths and wide-open landscapes that stretched toward the clouds. Our guide was a fantastic hiker, he always inspired us and said slowly slowly. And the porters were patient and they always smiled and motivated us with humor and encouragement.
Camps became small oases where we could rest, share stories, and enjoy surprisingly delicious meals after long hours on the trail. The final ascent under the night sky tested our stamina, but the quiet determination in the group made a huge difference. Reaching Uhuru Peak as the morning light touched the glaciers felt almost unreal. The sense of accomplishment was overwhelming, a mix of relief and pride. The mountain humbled us, challenged us, and rewarded us with a sense of fulfillment that will stay with us forever.

Wonderful, comfortable, safe and cozy experience.
I tried to order Pilanesberg through other couple of agencies, but they could not provide door to door service from Pretoria, and their options were very uncomfortable and more expensive. I was advised by the Lithuanian Embassy to contact you. With Nhlalala Travel everything was easy, smooth, nice and without stress from ordering the safari with door to door service to safari experience itself.
Driver Norman was on time, very friendly, caring and helpful. Pilanesberg guide Tabo was also very caring, easy going and at the same time he really put an effort, so we could see a lot and he was also patient, with humour and lots of knowledge about his work and wild animals.
It was my son’s 8th birthday, so Norman, Tabo and others took care of it to make it really special. There was signing in the car and at the restaurant. I am really grateful to those wonderful ladies at the restaurant, who sang so beautifully and arranged ice cream and everything else.
I was worried that the whole Safari experience could be stressful, but, as Norman said, we were in good hands, and we did not experience any stress or problems. I am really grateful.
