Good experience, quality tour, well appointed accommodations
5/5

The 4 day tour was quite exceptional for the price . The customer service was excellent. Our guide, Wiliam, was very attentive to our needs and explained the various animals, plants and other things we saw along the tour.
I would recommend kihindo tours if you're looking for a good experience at a reasonable value.

Warm, kind and very informative
5/5

Wiliam was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the land, the animals and answered all of our questions in great detail. We had great conversations and he showed so much respect and patience for us and the animals. By the end of the tour we felt like family. The tour exceeded all of my expectations. We saw so many amazing animals up close and felt safe the entire time.

Its a must go!!!!
5/5

What an amazing adventure to have experienced. We were well taken care of by Wiliam. His knowledge not only about the safari but as well as the animals helped me to enjoy the game drive. He went out of his way to be sure we had what was needed and even provided us with some things that we had forgotten. The safari park is welcoming as well as the stop off locations and accommodations. A highly recommend place to visit.

Almost Perfect
5/5

Africa Horizon Safaris was an absolute pleasure to work with as they arranged our recent gorilla and monkey trekking adventures in Volcanoes National Park. Communication was excellent, keeping us apprised exactly what we were getting, when our payments were needed to be made, and successful acquisition of the permits. Our guide/driver also kept us well informed as to what we were doing and when and where we needed to be the next morning.

During the morning shuffle prior to treks, the guide stayed with us and pointed us in the right direction. The only negative, was that it seemed our guide was a little inexperienced as a driver and couldn't manage to engage the 4WD on the vehicle, which is definitely necessary at certain points. So one of the other vehicles in our group had to come back for us and give us a lift. It did not impact our day at all, other than a small inconvenience to switch vehicles for last 5 minutes of the journey. The driver was honestly the nicest person in the world, but just a little green. We have no doubt he will be excellent with some more experience.

The Five Volcanoes Hotel that they used for lodging was absolutely phenomenal. The post trek foot massages and cleaning of our boots, poles and gators were very, very welcome. Food options were perhaps a little limited, but everything was delicious and of high quality. Rooms were enormous, palatial really and very calming. We only spent one night, but it is a place you could spend days at comfortably. Beds were a bit squeaky to think of it.

All in all, a very memorable experience, capably handled by Africa Horizon Safaris. We would not hesitate to use them again in the future, perhaps for an Akagera safari? Who knows!

They'll make your dreams come true! From the very first moment, they found a place for me on Safari since I travel alone.
The entire staff is spectacular in their human warmth.

The Very Best Safari Experience
5/5

Our family of four adults just spent a week with Issaya Mgomo as our safari guide in the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Tarangire National Park. This was our first safari and we were obviously anxious about our guide. We knew when we first met him at the Seronera Airstrip that this was going to be a great week. Issaya was warm, very communicative (he spoke great English) with a wonderful sense of humor. Within minutes of leaving the airstrip Issaya led us to lions, giraffes, the wildebeest migration, zebras, elephants and more. Frankly, his vision was incredible as he could spot a leopard on a tree limb a quarter mile away, although more of our animal interactions were up close and at our safari vehicle. He was very perceptive and by the first day knew exactly what our group of four adults would want to see and do. He was 100% reliable—if we were leaving at 7:30 in the morning, the vehicle would be ready to roll at that time. He has tremendous knowledge of all animals and birds, has an uncanny ability to pull them up and show us in one of his wildlife books and show the particular animal or bird to us in real time. Issaya’s knowledge of Tanzania, local history and local culture, and the Maasai just added to the overall experience. We were genuinely sad when we parted ways at the JRO airport on day number eight. We will miss him but will fondly remember our week with him and hope to return one day.

Amazing safari
5/5

Our safari with Tsokio was excellent, we had a once in a life time experience, especially with the nights in the savannah's tent, the bush dinner for our honeymoon and of course the incredibile amount of animals we saw. We liked very much also to dive in the Arusha market, to have a taste of and african city's life.

Kiriche shaped a magical Serengeti escape for two. Romantic, luxurious and deeply memorable.
5/5

The Kiriche Luxury Camp setting is simply spectacular. From our private verandah we watched elephants and buffalo gather along the Orangi River which felt almost surreal. The peace and beauty of the Serengeti provided the perfect backdrop for memories that we will cherish forever.

Our tent was beautifully designed, offering every comfort while still allowing us to feel completely immersed in nature. Falling asleep to the sounds of the African wilderness and waking up to breathtaking sunrises each day was an experience like no other.

The game drives were exceptional. Our guide Francis used his knowledge and experience to bring the Serengeti to life. We shared incredible sightings of lions, elephants, giraffe, black rhino and countless other wild animals making each day an adventure we’ll never forget.
