5 day safari went without a hitch. Sharon took care of absolutely everything without a worry from us
You would think with thousands of animals in the park, it would be easy to spot them. But in a national park the size of Belgium, trust me it's not! You need a professional, experienced driver to guide you round. This is what we got with Adrian. We would be driving for ages and see only the odd solitary animal. Then after constant communication on the radio he led us to what was one of the best experiences of our lives. Parking up in the middle of a herd of elephants over 50 strong. Hearing them gurggle and trumping there trunks, just metres away from us, was truly amazing. Parking up at a picnic site, where a pack of lions were just lazing on the tables under the shade after a big kill the night before. I cannot praise Serengeti Sunrise enough for what they delivered. Constant communication from start to finish. Every question answered and any worry quashed. What we got was and will be an amazing, unforgettable experience. The campsite in the Serengeti was an experience to be remembered, lying in our beds and hearing lions roar from outside was a bit scary at first then you realise you are absolutely safe with staff on the campsite. I would like to thank the staff at the campsite for being very welcoming and friendly. The food that we had throughout the safari was excellent, with a wide range of choice and with our driver finding some spectacular picnic sites. So I would highly recommend Sharon our tour consultant from Serengeti Sunrise tours for organising absolutely every. From flights and transfers and for all aspects of the safari. I would also like to give a big thank you to our driver Adrian, who made this experience truly unforgettable.

Suricata Safari tour has been such an incredible experience for me and special thanks to Anton and our chef who have both been incredible in this journey. From the start till the end, Suricata safari has been so helpful and very well organised, I did the camping 4 days tour and I was really impressed especially with our dear guide Anton who put in so much hard work to show us all the big 5, yes, you heard it right, he showed us all the big 5!! Unforgettable 14 day journey through Namibia, Chobe (Botswana) and Victoria Falls
Where to even start – this trip was truly wonderful from beginning to end.
The lodges were super lovely and so carefully selected, very individual and absolutely stunning. Every time we arrived, it felt like coming home. Each one was completely different, but what they all had in common was the high quality – the feel-good factor, the cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the incredibly good food.
The trip planning was perfect. Always reachable, quick response times, and every wish we had was taken into account.
The value for money is honestly stunning.
And then there is our guide Jaco – I don't even know how to properly put this into words. He was absolutely incredible. Perfect German, unbelievably kind and friendly, calm, patient, with an enormous knowledge about the country, nature and people, and he brought all of it across in such an engaging way. A super safe driver, great planning, it really cannot get any better than this. On top of everything else, we even picked up some photography knowledge from him – including shots that would honestly work in a coffee table book.
Just to mention one out of so many highlights: the Big Daddy hike with breakfast up on the dune was truly unforgettable. Standing up there with the sun rising over Sossusvlei, coffee in hand – I still get goosebumps thinking about it.
What touched us both the most was how lovingly and attentively Jaco took care of my 80-year-old mum throughout the entire trip. He always kept an eye on her, made sure she was comfortable, adjusted the pace when needed, and never once made her feel like anything was too much. That kind of care is something you cannot plan or book – it comes from the heart.
The vehicle was great and very safe, and it was equipped perfectly – down to the setup for our bush coffee, which became one of our favourite little rituals along the way.
My mum and I are more than grateful. Thank you for an unforgettable journey.

Jocky tours and the two guides Francis and James were amazing
We were incredibly lucky to have Francis/james as our guides during our safari, and we honestly could not have asked for a better experience.
From the very first moment we met them, they were friendly, welcoming, polite and professional. They immediately made us feel comfortable and throughout the entire safari they constantly looked after the group. They were always thinking ahead, making sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves.
One thing we especially appreciated was Francis communication. Francis always kept us informed about what was happening and what to expect next. Whether he was collecting park permits, planning the next game drive, driving to a new destination or organising lunch, he continuously explained the plan and what we were going to do. This made us feel relaxed, informed and completely taken care of throughout the safari.
His knowledge of the wildlife, nature and parks was outstanding. He shared fascinating information about animal behaviour and answered every question with patience and enthusiasm. We learned so much from him during our Amboseli part.
What truly impressed us was both Francis and James incredible ability to spot animals. Thanks to Francis/james we experienced sightings that we never imagined we would see. During our safari we saw all of the Big Five, including a leopard and the rare black rhino. We also saw a cheetah, lions, lions eating , elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, countless antelopes and many beautiful bird species.
Some moments were simply unforgettable. We had lions , cheetah and a leopard right next to our jeep, watched elephants feeding only a few metres away and witnessed incredible wildlife encounters throughout the trip. Many of these sightings would never have happened without Francis and James sharp eyes, experience and dedication.
Beyond being an excellent guide, Francis is simply a wonderful person. He is kind, respectful, patient, funny and genuinely passionate about his work. It never felt like he was just doing a job. It felt like he truly wanted us to have the best safari experience possible.
We would also like to compliment jocky Safaris on the accommodations. Every single stay exceeded our expectations. Lenchada camp was fantastic, with beautiful tents , excellent food and incredibly friendly staff. Buraha Zenoni Nakuru experience was absolutely magical, Our final accommodation which was Mountain View amboseli was equally impressive and provided the perfect ending to an unforgettable safari.
What surprised us most was how much comfort and service we received throughout the entire trip. The staff at every accommodation were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. You truly receive far more than you expect.
If you are lucky enough to have Francis as your guide, you are in the very best hands. He is a true professional, an exceptional wildlife guide and a wonderful ambassador for Kenya .

Extremely helpfull and very nice people
We loved everything about our trip to Rwanda with Hermosa life tours. Our trip to Rwanda set out in order to get a once in a lifetime experience seeing the world famous mountain gorillas and with the help of Hermosa life tours we were able to do just this. From arranging the needed permits, helping us getting the right documents and vaccinations to enter the country or just helping with questions in general. One of the clearest examples I can give of their helpfulness was when my mother got foodpoisoning on the day of the hike to the mountain gorillas. Normally, this would mean bye permit(1500$) and bye chance to see the mountain gorillas unless you want to pay for the permit again. However, Hermosa went above and beyond driving us to various hospitals and clinics until we finally found a doctor that would sign for the fact that my mom was sick. Later, after some fighting with park officials and showing the sick note from the doctor Hermosa was able to send my mother up the next day to see these majestic creatures without us having to pay for anotherr permit. And this was just one example of the amazing service they had provided througout the few days that we stayed with them.

Our consultant understood exactly what we were looking for — a well-paced, comfortable safari with beautiful camps and strong wildlife opportunities, but without feeling rushed or exhausted. She translated our preferences into a perfectly structured itinerary.
All 3 camps were stunning, comfortable, and very well chosen. The routing was logical, the transitions were seamless, and at no point did we feel fatigued by long drives or unnecessary backtracking. Everything felt balanced and intentional. The logistics throughout the journey were handled effortlessly.

With over 5 years (James )and 15 years (Francis ) of experience — their depth of knowledge was interesting.
Francis is calm, respectful of nature, and deeply intuitive in the field. He doesn’t just drive around looking for animals — he reads the landscape. By observing tracks, bird movements, alarm calls, and subtle environmental signs, he anticipates where wildlife might appear. His instincts are remarkable.
He truly has eagle eyes — spotting animals in the distance without binoculars when the rest of us would see nothing. Thanks to them, we saw everything we had hoped to see, including several breathtaking predator hunting moments. Even more impressive, they always positioned the vehicle at the perfect angle for viewing and photography, without disturbing natural behavior.
Extraordinary Knowledge and Professionalism
Francis knowledge goes far beyond the Big Five. He recognizes nearly every bird species we encountered in Amboseli — which makes sense, as he even keeps a dedicated bird reference book in the vehicle. His passion for wildlife is genuine, We saw other vehicles getting stuck, but not once did we. Both guides driving judgment and control in difficult terrain were impressive and reassuring.
Every morning, despite mud/ dusty and long drives, the vehicles were clean and ready. Hot lunches were prepared daily, and we felt consistently well cared for.
The last guide (Francis ) is clearly respected among other guides and was always supportive and professional on the radio. His humility, experience, and kindness made a lasting impression on us.
Final Thoughts
We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Francis as our guide on the last few days , He is truly a hidden gem within Jocky — and if you have the opportunity to request him, do so without hesitation.
Jocky organized a beautiful safari. Francis and James made it unforgettable.

He shared so much knowledge about the animals, the local culture, and many interesting facts along the way, which made every game drive even more enjoyable.
Everything went exactly as planned, and we didn’t have any problems during the trip. The hotels were very good, the food was great, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.
