A day jaunt to the Pilanesberg
We have an American friend in Johannesburg and we wondering what to do with the weekend after New Year. We decided to take him to see Sun City and the Pilanesberg. It's close by, has the big five and some great lodges. It was late at night and very spur of the moment when we decided - could we get accommodation? A search on the Internet revealed some options - most places were full but we found a lodge with two rooms - and it turned out just perfect. We spent the next day in the sun re-living childhood as we hurtled down the water slides at SunCity's Valley of the Waves. That night we stayed at the Bakubung Reserve. We ate supper on the terrace with the bush sounds and starlit sky as companions. The next day we drove through he reserve - we left a bit late in the morning but still saw plenty of game. All in all a great way to spend two days!

It all felt very professional and organized. We lost a flight connection and they rescheduled our tour promptly. Our guide Isaac was always motivated, respectful and with amazing eyes. Many times he brought us to places to see fantastic scenes and we were the first to arrive. He would wait sine minutes before letting other drivers know about it by radio :) It was suberb!

They were no communication barriers everything was on track as schedule it is six o’clock. Breakfast at six thirty and you will go on your walk at six forty-five.” The man places a tray with coffee, warm milk and breakfast cookies on the table etc. The services were up to expectation just as we expected to notch.

Great Safari with good driver/guide and c his helper
I had a safari in april. And my experinces with this Company are great.
They met me at the hotel before the safari, and we had a great time together,
The safari was excellent. We saw the big five and a lot of other animals.
The guide/driver showed a lot of knowledge and gave us all a good safari.
The cooker made very good food.
If/when I will have another safari with my daugther and grandchildren I will defently use this copany.
It was nothing to coplain about. I was 100% satisfied.

general overview
Botswana is one of the last wilderness on earth and I have visited the country on four different occasions in the last five years. I always used the services of Adventure Safaris to organise the itineraries which they carried out in a very professional manner. My trips have ranged from luxury lodges in the Okavango with transfers by plane to a self drive safari covering Chobe, Savuti, Linyanti, Moremi, Nxai Pan and the Kalahari. In all instances the trips were very well organised and properly booked. What I like about the company is the combination of a thorough knowledge of the country and personal service. The owner, Mrs Carla du Plessis, has lived in Botswana for over 25 years and gets personally involved with every client. You can always call her for a question or a specific additional service. He brought us to these amazing wild animals; he made sure that we got the best view while respecting the wilderness. What makes it even more memorable is that he let the stories of these animals unearth not only through his recollection but also by letting us witness the scene that unfolded in front of our eyes. It takes great intuition to stop the car so that we could see animals playing, fighting, hunting, and even paying respect to the dead.
