Pricesless experience!!!
We just finished the 4-day Kruger Park safari via Panorama Route. We had the best time of our lifes made possible by Wildlife Safaris. We enjoyed every minute of it.
We are so thankful and so lucky to have had Clive as our guide. He's the best! As we called him: captain Clive! He does his work with so much passion and excitement. Still after all these years of guiding. It makes him so special; not only as a guide, but certainly as a person!!!!!! He did everything he could to
give us this priceless experience. He went above and beyond.
Thank you Wildlife Safaris. Thank you captain Clive!

Amazing 12 days in south-west Uganda.
Our driver and guide was Anatoli - he was perfect! He drove us from Entebbe - Kampala - Kibale forest - Queen Elizabeth NP - Lake Mutanda and back to Kampala. It was one of the best journeys in my lifetime! Everything was very well organized by Matoke Tours! Anatoli our driver was always patient and very friendly, he told us a lot about the country, interesting and sometimes funny stories about birds and animals and life in Uganda. He knew the best places in order to take stunning pictures, he helped me with my broken shoes, organized the best rangers for our safari trips and was always on time. It was really good to be with him which I think is important as we have spent a lot of time with him together in the car. We really enjoyed all of our lodges, chosen by Matoke Tours. They were all clean, had good bathrooms (for example the outside shower under the amazing stars in QE), always with wonderful views like over Lake Mutanda, or the jungle with the sound of the monkeys, or over the canal at Queen Elizabeth´s, with eagles and the sound of the hippos etc. Uganda is so beautiful, so green, there are few cars on the street, the people are so friendly!!! And i am very impressed by this great jungles. We saw a lot of animals, gorillas, chimps, a lion, a big group of 8 female lions - one of them was even hunting a kob, elephants, a lot of baboons next to the streets, hippos - one even passed close to the restaurant in the evening while we were sitting there :-), so many birds and warthogs.. So many..! For me the best stop was Lake Mutanda, it´s such a nice place, we were able to swim, walk around, we did a canoe tour and we spend some more days just for relaxing. The food was always very good, everywhere they asked us if we have any special requests - for me as a vegetarian very important and we have enjoyed every dish. For sure we will visit Uganda again for further tours with Matoke Tours!! They really did a perfect job!

Holiday of a lifetime!
We have heard a lot of stories regarding safari's and guided tours but have to say that this trip exceeded all of our expectations.
The tour itself was very interesting and informative but all done in a relaxed and enjoyable way. We were lucky enough to see a wide variety of wildlife and learnt a lot about the surrounding's.
Would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a relaxed but fun holiday for all of the family.

Safari Source has excellent local knowledge and provides great advice based on your own interests
My husband and I were squeezing in a short holiday in between work committments. We wanted to travel independently and stay in cosy but inexpensive places as close to nature as possible. Monika at Safari Source really listened to what we were after, made several excellent suggestions, and then booked everything for us. She recommended great accommodation options that my extensive internet searches never found, and was helpful throughout the planning process. We had a really wonderful and relaxing holiday and I would definitely contact Safari Source again for my next Zimbabwean holiday. Even some of my Zimbabwean friends wanted their contact details so they can ask for help arranging trips for visiting friends and family.

Simply Awesome
I just came back from my honeymoon. I went to a safari with them from 28/11 to 3/12, a 5 day 4 nights safari. I paid an advance from my country by their web page & the rest was due the day i arrived to arusha, i enjoyed the safari so so much, we were picked up from Kilimajaro airport to the hotel for the night stay. Mike the ''Boss'' is so gentle & helpful, he came to greet me the first day we arrived to arusha at the hotel we chated a little telling him about my trip to zanzibar than gave me some tips about the safari.
Next morning we started our tour he came to wish us a good trip & introduce us to the Guide "Elias" -Great gide with an eye of an eagle, very familiar, funny & has alot of information that he shared it with us- & The cook "Robert". He is a great cooker They respected that my wife was vegetarian & he always makes something vegi for her.
The safari was well organized, the food was great, the company is awesome. We enjoyed every second in the trip a big thanks to ELIAS ''the guide'' & Big Big thanks to Mike ''the boss'' a great Man.

ATC 57 Day African Adventure
We have just finished ATC 57 Day Cape Town to Nairobi overland trip, and though the staff on the ground for the most part were very good, the actual organisation of the trip certainly does not provide the best value or experience on the market. Parts of the trip were disorganised, very expensive comparative with other companies, meals paid for were not made available, suppliers used by ATC were slipshod in their attention to detail and expensive.
Booking through On The Go Tours we were informed that there was no way that optional excursions could be paid for in advance, we were therefore surprised and annoyed to find that other travellers on our trip using a Dutch Agent had all major excursions included in the price.
Itineraries supplied by different agents for the tour were slightly different and this caused confusion with at least one out of the three trip leaders we had, and meant last minute changes in plan.
Changes in tour leaders, cooks and driver also meant meals paid for were not provided, and we actually had to pay for a meal at the ATC Nairobi campsite that was included in our package. The new tour leader indicated he would investigate this with the office but no further comment was provided by the tour leader or ATC.
Campsites had been changed comparative to the itinerary supplied and due to not camping inside national park game viewing opportunities were lost. If using ATC ensure that any changes in itinerary do not affect the paid for activities.
Equipment used especially on the first two parts of the trip were "well used" to say the least, and in my opinion the cooks knives on the final part were dangerous to use and unhygienic with handles falling apart.
Optional tours with third party supplies were found to be 25% more expensive than other operators offering better value both at Victoria Falls and Swakopmund, which given the amount of business generated by the overland tours was disappointing to learn. If you use ATC I would strongly urge you to shop around at both these places.
Tour teeshirts out of the four ordered from ATC recommended supplies two in Kampala and two in Vic falls, none were provided as agreed with the suppliers representative, which was very disappointing.
We did go to all the places within the itinerary, and much of the trip was enjoyable, however, if we were to repeat this trip we would use alternative companies which offer similar itineraries. Do not be fooled by the cheap upfront price, by the time all optional extras are included it is certainly no cheaper than going with others who include these in the upfront price.
