One of the best parks in Kenya to see the Big Five is the Masai Mara. We were mesmerized by a pride of lions lounging under a tree, which was the most exciting moment. There were 5 of them! The Masai Mara is known as one of the most beautiful wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. The vast and diverse terrain of the Masai Mara National Reserve includes savannah, numerous biodiversity sanctuaries and dense forest. The rich ecosystem here is home to a variety of wildlife, from large herds of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra to the rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope, as well as majestic lions, cheetahs and herds of zebra, giraffe and elephant roaming the open grasslands. Bird lovers will be delighted by the abundance of birds here, and the luxury lodges located within the reserve offer visitors a wonderful opportunity to immerse themselves in this corner of paradise. Amazing 4-Day Safari – Saw All the Big Five!
We had an incredible 4-day safari experience in Tanzania, traveling through Tarangire National Park, the southern part of Serengeti National Park, and descending into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.
The itinerary was perfectly organized, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. All accommodations and transport arrangements were excellent and well-coordinated, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience without any stress.
We were incredibly lucky to see all of the Big Five, along with many other animals up close — including hyenas, leopards, lions, hippos, elephants, and more. Every day brought new and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
From the very beginning, the staff was quick to respond, provided detailed information about the itinerary, and kept us well informed throughout. They were always available and extremely helpful, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
A special mention goes to our guide, Champion, who was outstanding. He shared a wealth of knowledge about the animals and the local culture, and his expertise in spotting wildlife was truly impressive. Thanks to him, we were able to find and observe so many animals in their natural habitat.

Erik is a super, calm and experienced driver, which is critically important in Kenya. Good at multitasking - drive, spot, communicate, and keep his guests happy. Our day trip in the Masai-Mara was 11 hours with a short lunch break. It was a super experience (very glad not being here during migration ... rather tourist overflow), but we were tired and how must Erik have felt.
At the top of my list is Samburu NP and the different antelopes to South Africa, PLUS all the birding here in Kenya.
We originally thought we would do a self-drive tour with camping, but this was not just much more relaxing and comfortable, it was also economically a good deal, reliable, and safe. We gladly recommend Kenya Bush Track Safaris.
