My family and I booked a 4 day safari to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We were able to see the big 5 but there were so many other animals to see; the diversity of species and sheer number of animals was outstanding. The landscapes, especially in the crater were stunning. Special thanks to our very knowledgeable and friendly guide Godlisten who was able to get us into the best positions for the many photographic opportunities. Thanks to Kida on the administrative side too.

An unforgettable safari with a truly personal touch
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Sereland Africa Safaris on our 8-day honeymoon safari. From beginning to end, the service was exceptional and played a huge part in making our trip truly unforgettable.
Our decision to travel with a private guide was made quite last minute (and I can't stress enough how good of a decision this was!!), and we had already booked all of our hotels independently. Despite this, Mike, the owner, was incredibly helpful and accommodating from the very beginning. He was always available when we had questions and took the time to review our plans, making several excellent suggestions on how we could improve our route and make the most of our time on safari. His flexibility and responsiveness made organizing everything remarkably easy.
One of the things we particularly appreciated about Sereland is that it is a smaller, 100% Tanzanian company. Compared with some of the larger safari operators, the whole experience felt much more personal. At no point did we feel like we were simply "one more tourist" following a standard package. Instead, we felt that Mike and the team genuinely cared about our trip and about making it as memorable as possible. For a special occasion like our honeymoon, that personal touch made a real difference.
Our guide, Mr. Rama, was simply outstanding. With more than 25 years of experience, his expertise was evident every single day. He is an incredible driver, which makes a huge difference when spending many hours on safari and navigating some challenging roads, but what impressed us even more was his extraordinary knowledge of the parks, wildlife, and different habitats.
Mr. Rama seemed to know exactly where to go and how to make the most of every game drive. His experience, combined with his knowledge of animal behavior and the environment, added so much depth to everything we saw. We didn't just see incredible wildlife (big 5, big 9, you name it...), we also learned a tremendous amount along the way.
Looking back, choosing Sereland and having a private guide was one of the best decisions we made for our honeymoon. The combination of Mike's personal attention and flexibility and Mr. Rama's extraordinary experience made the entire safari feel special from start to finish.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Sereland Africa Safaris to anyone looking for a safari that feels personal, authentic, and thoughtfully organized rather than like a one-size-fits-all package.

Big 5 in 3 Days - Serengeti & Ngorongoro - Low Budget
We had an amazing experience on the 3 day / 2 nights tented Serengeti / Ngorongoro safari with Suricata & our amazing driver and guide Louis aka "Rastaman". Were lucky to see all Big 5 (rhino in Ngorongoro is actually not so unlikely, while 2 leopards in Serengeti were really lucky). Rastaman managed to show us many lions and cheetas (including mother with 3 babies) aswell, always trying to enable a good foto shot - also pushed for early departure to make good use of the day. Hundreds of other animals were accompanied by good explanations of social behavior, also including enviromental aspects as well as Maasai heritage. the overall organization was smooth, we were always well informed. Bring euro / usd cash to avoid bank fees. 3 days were very good value for money, more time would have been exhausting (bumpy roads all day, sleeping in tents, early wake up, ...). would recommend suricata to friends and suggest to ask for rastaman as driver, if possible! ♥️♥️♥️

A Trip of a Lifetime!
Thank you Meru Slopes, Jerome and Max for a trip of a lifetime! We had the most incredible, well planned, trouble free Safari that we could have hoped for. It exceeded our expectations, in large part due to our amazing guide, Max. He made sure we were comfortable, safe and saw absolutely everything. The Big Five and so much more. The Wildebeest river crossings were a sight to behold! We have already recommended Meru Slopes and Max to many friends and family.

Amazing safari
Rita at Axis Africa made it really easy to book our trip. We did a custom 11 day trip including safari and beach. The whole trip was amazing, we spent the safari part of the trip with our driver guide Daniel who was friendly and knowledgeable. Great guide, responsive operator and competitive prices
Ally was our guide and he was fantastic. He was great at using the radio and we benefitted from his relationships with the other guides we came across as they gave us tips and worked together. He also spotted animals we'd never have noticed, including a leopard from hundreds of metres out, and really knew his stuff when it came to animal behaviour, including where the wildebeest would end up crossing.
Loren was quick to reply while booking and his prices beat other operators we'd looked at. Pick-ups at Kilimanjaro airport and in Zanzibar were both spot on, and the vehicles we were picked up in were air-conditioned which we were very grateful for. They also put a "Just Married" cover on the spare tyre for us, and my wife loved it.
We're really glad we got to support a local business. Would absolutely recommend.
