Very easy to work with!
The Tour company and my guide, Emmanuel, were excellent! While I was working with them to get a quote and talk about a few adjustments, they were very communicative and let me know what was going on during each step of the process. Emmanuel was a wonderful guide! Clearly loves what he does, his country, and the animals of course! It's important for me to feel safe as a solo female traveler, and the company was gracious enough to accept me solo traveler at a reasonable cost.

Logo is knowledgeable, caring, fun, and passionate about African wildlife.
The expertise of our guide Logo is what made our safari amazing. From beginning to end he was on time, was enthusiastic about each game drive, and made sure we got to see everything we wanted to see on our safari. My mom loves birds- this is not what people tend to go on safari for. Logo made sure to find as many birds as possible and then even sat down with us and helped us name each bird for her scrap book...and there were two pages of bird names when all was said and done. We also saw the Big 5...many, many times over. We went from Arusha National Park, to Tarangire, to Ngorogoro Crater, to the Serengeti. It was great. 10/10, perfect score for our guide.
Altezza's communication was good. Prior to our safari our tour coordinator always respoded to our questions within 24 hours. During our safari we did have to reach out to Altezza first in order to know our schedule (like when our drivers were going to pick us up or what time certain activities were), but they typically responded within a half an hour on What's App. We had amazing service at each of our lodges/camps. Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge was absolutely beautiful. The Karibu Camps were incredibly modern, had great service, and beautiful views. At
Singing Grass we did end up sharing our tent with a mouse which was bummer but we still had a great time. We also did a hot air balloon safari ride which I highly recommend.
This was an unforgetable experience and was well worth the price.

Ask for Steve! Legend Guide
Guided/driven by Steve! Absolute legend managed to find us our own lion and elephant road crossing in the first day without any other tours nearby. Steve has an overwhelming knowledge of these animals and fantastic English to explain it all. Great conversation throughout the days. Always felt safe with Steve’s driving.
First lodge - owned by Suricata is luxurious and watching the sunset by the pool with a cocktail was magical.
Downfall with tour was poor communication for airport pickup ?a contractor who did not bring branded signage and 30 mins late - meant we had to send his photo to the company on WhatsApp to confirm he was legitimate. During this time we had a number of local operators try and convince us they were our driver (without knowing any of our details/ destination)
Unfortunately the first night at Summit Lodge was also disappointing - location is far from the Main Street making it unsafe to leave at night unless in prearranged vehicle and rooms are tired, filled with mould in bathrooms and broken shower taps leak water throughout bathroom.

Incredible Safari Experience
Incredible experience, would highly recommend. We were blessed to have Steve as our driver/guide; his experience on Safari was unmatched. He was a magician in finding all of the animals (and away from the crowds) and was so engaging throughout the trip. Very safe and knowledgeable driver. Can't thank Steve enough for the experience he gave us, we learnt so much! The Suricata Boma lodge was also outstanding, as well as the camps throughout. Amazing trip. Highly recommend Suricata.

Amazing 6-Day Safari Experience with Suricata Safaris!
We booked our 6-day safari directly with Suricata Safaris, and from the very beginning, the entire booking process was incredibly personal, easy, and professional.
From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized – from the airport pickup to the accommodations and the entire safari experience. We didn’t have to worry about a thing!
A special thank you to our fantastic guides, Robert, who accompanied us on the first day, and Melita, who guided us for the remaining days. Both were excellent drivers, incredibly knowledgeable, and knew exactly where to go to find the wildlife. They shared so many interesting facts about the animals and made every game drive a truly special experience.
We had an absolutely wonderful time, saw incredible wildlife, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Exceptional service from start to finish
We had an absolutely wonderful 5-day safari experience covering Lake Nakuru National Park and Masai Mara. Everything was exceptionally well organised, and the entire experience was smooth, comfortable and completely hassle-free. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Right from the beginning, Lucy was incredibly helpful and responsive. From sharing quotes and arranging vouchers to answering our numerous questions, she made the entire planning process seamless. Her responses were always prompt, clear and helpful. Although we had only booked transportation and safari services through them, Lucy went above and beyond to assist us with accommodation-related queries as well, which we truly appreciated. It was reassuring to have someone so dependable throughout the planning process.
The highlight of our experience, however, was our safari guide, Raymond. We spent five incredible days with him, and he played a huge role in making this trip so memorable. His knowledge of Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara, the wildlife and their natural habitats was truly exceptional. What made the experience even more special was that he didn’t just help us spot animals; he took the time to explain their behaviour, instincts, interactions and the little details we would otherwise have completely missed.
Thanks to Raymond’s experience, patience and expertise, we were fortunate enough to spot all of the Big Five in Masai Mara, along with the Ugly Five! We had some absolutely incredible wildlife sightings, and his ability to anticipate animal movements and understand their behaviour made every game drive exciting. It was evident that he genuinely knew the parks and was passionate about what he did.
Beyond his wildlife expertise, Raymond was extremely professional, punctual and easy to communicate with. He was always on time, often even before the agreed time, and ensured that everything ran smoothly throughout the five days. We never had to follow up, worry about logistics or deal with any last-minute surprises.
The safari vehicle was also excellent — clean, comfortable and well-maintained, which made a huge difference considering the long hours spent on game drives and travelling between destinations.
What stood out most was how effortless the entire experience felt. From the initial planning with Lucy to the last day with Raymond, everything was handled with care, professionalism and attention to detail. There wasn’t a single hiccup throughout our trip.
A huge thank you to Lucy and Raymond for making our Kenyan safari such a memorable experience. We returned with incredible memories, some unbelievable wildlife sightings and a much deeper appreciation for the animals and their natural environment.
Would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. If you’re fortunate enough to have Raymond as your guide, you’re in excellent hands!

Great family safari! Excellent planning, top guide
As a family, we were completely satisfied with our 4-day safari. The back-office organization at Axis was excellent, and everything ran smoothly and reliably. The tour planning was well thought out and varied, so we were able to experience a great deal over the four days.
Amboseli impressed us with the view of Kilimanjaro and its abundant wildlife. Tsavo West left a strong impression with its stunning landscapes.
Our guide Andrew was a real stroke of luck. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and explained the animals and the landscape with great enthusiasm. We especially appreciated how he always secured a good spot for us to observe the wildlife.
We give Axis Africa our highest rating: 5 out of 5 stars. We would gladly travel with them again!

A wonderful safari for thefamily!
Axis and Amos provided a wonderful family experience for us (daughters 8 and 13) The Lodge was great, with good meals and lovely accommodation. The whole experience was very professional and friendly and compared to the competition, provided good value for money. We saw every animal we hoped to see (with exception of a rhino who are not in that area) Amos was super helpful and very knowledgeable regarding all the flora and fauna. Finishing with the Masai village was well worth it.
