Effortful, attentive, great value for money
Boaz was very effortful and attentive on making sure we got to see the animals we wanted to see. and we got to see all of them! great safari! we went during july, and the season was perfect timing to see lots of animals in northern serengeti. ngorongoro was very beautiful as well. it was the perfect timing, and our guide boaz was well more than attentive to making sure we got to experience what we wanted to experience.
Lightness was very attentive to making sure we were well taken care of as well. there were some times where there were unexpected changes to the itinerary but i think they still handled compensating for the changes very well.
Great Journey overall. Would recommend!

Our guide, Boaz, gave a lot of effort throughout the entire trip.
Lightness was also active in replying to queries during our trip.
- Accommodations were changed vs what was initially planned. Some were fully booked/ difficult to secure availability. Operator managed to provide alternatives.
- Unexpected things happened during the trip but the operator did their best to compensate.

Reliable and professional: excellent experience
I have done the 3-day Gorilla Trekking, staying at the Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort and everything was simply amazing.
Buying the Gorilla Permit is always tricky, especially for solo travellers, but then I found Engagi Safaris on Safari Bookings, I text Robert personally and I understood that I could have fully trusted him. He has always been very responsive, replying immediately for any of my concerns. Don't be scared by the admission fee, is absolutely worth it!
The pick up from Kampala was great, the trip to Lake Bunyonyi, with a stop at the Equator, as well. Robert and Dickson gave me a lot of information about Uganda, its society and environment.
The stay at the lake was awesome, great people, warm welcoming, delicious food and unique activities.
Then the Gorilla trekking, of course. A lifetime experience. Not a lot of people when I went.
They also drove me to Kabale to continue my trip to Kigali by taxi, instead of going back to Kampala.
I met Robert and Dickson as tour guides, but I left them as friends!

We had an onforgettable experience with our tour with PoleCats! I believe it is a relatively small Tanzanian owned operator and that made it an authentic and special way of visiting Tanzania. We had a tour of 11 days with highlights in serengeti, ngorongoro, Tarangire, Mto Wa Mbu and Lake Eyasi, visiting the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Our guides (Brian and Allen) were very kind en skilled and super nice to our children. We carry a special place in our hearts for this experience and our guide Allen. Were so glad for choosing PoleCats, it’s defenitely worth all your money.

Big Five and more
We spent five days on safari with our guide, Edson. We started in Tarangire National Park, then spent two days in the Serengeti, followed by the Ngorongoro Crater, and finished our trip in Lake Manyara National Park.
Edson showed us an incredible variety of wildlife. Although spotting animals—especially in the Serengeti—sometimes required a bit of patience, it was absolutely worth it. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with many other amazing wild animals.
Edson was also very interested in Germany, which made for many enjoyable conversations throughout the trip. He was able to answer every question we had about the animals and their behavior.
Our favorite accommodation was Glimpse Camp, where we spent two nights in the heart of the Serengeti wilderness. At night, we could hear the sounds of the wildlife all around us, yet we always felt completely safe.
The staff were incredibly warm and hospitable, and the food was excellent.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who made these days so special. Our heartfelt thanks go not only to Edson, but also to Philipo for the excellent organization of the entire trip, including the overnight stay at the banana farm, which also left a lasting impression on us.

Very well organized
Everything really well organized. Our guide Muzi did his best to show us as much animals as it was possible. We saw lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, wild dogs, buffalos and many other animals.
