Amazing experience with a totally personalized service
We are extremely happy with the service provided by Bamboo Ecotours, its manager Edison and our guide Herbert. The trip was amazing, everything went far beyond expectations and we felt completely safe and cared the whole time.
Herbert was so great, very good driver and also a fantastic guide and animal seeker, he did an amazing job with us.
Communication with Edison has always been fast and he answered all our questions in detail, as well as being flexible with the itinerary.
Accomodations were far beyond expectations, we were completely surprised with some of them. In all of them everyone was completely great with us and made us feel at home.
And, of course, we had plenty of beautiful and unforgettable experiences such as gorilla, chimp and golden monkeys tracking, many game drives, as well as horse riding at Lake Mburo.
Thanks for everything Bamboo! Hopefully we get back soon!

Magical experience
We went to Kenya and spent a week with Dalili on Safari and at the beach in Mombasa. The entire experience was magical for everyone from the grandparents on the trip all the way down to the six-year-old. We saw animals in their natural habitat, we stayed in beautiful places, we ate amazing food, we explored new places, we spent time on the beach, and so much more. And the whole time Kevin took us exactly where we needed to go and told us all about the things that we could see, and we were always so comfortable in his vehicle. He was so knowledgeable about the animals and the local places where we visited and was such a pleasure to spend time with. We can’t wait to go back and have another amazing experience.

10/10 - An Unforgettable 10-Day Safari Experience in Tanzania
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Meijo on our 10-day, 9-night trip through Tanzania. We visited Arusha, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and both the Central and Southern Serengeti. From the very beginning to the very end, everything was incredibly well organized, and we couldn't have asked for a better safari experience.
A special thank you to Jn, who welcomed us at Kilimanjaro Airport and took care of our transfers to and from Arusha. He also showed us around Arusha town, including the local market and several iconic places. We really enjoyed learning about the history and culture of Tanzania from him. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel welcome right away.
Our main safari guide, Gebi, was truly exceptional. With more than 30 years of experience, he has an incredible ability to find animals — and thanks to him, we were fortunate enough to see all of the African Big Five! One of the highlights of our entire trip was witnessing the famous Mara River crossing five times in just three days. It was an absolutely incredible experience that we will never forget.
But what impressed us most about Gebi was not just his experience and skill, but how genuinely passionate and caring he is about his work. He took great care of us throughout the entire safari, always making sure we were comfortable and having a good experience. At the same time, it was clear that he deeply cares about the animals and the environment. He consistently tried to follow the park rules and maintain an appropriate distance from the animals, minimizing the disturbance caused by human activity. This was especially important to us, and we really appreciated his respect for the wildlife.
We would also like to give a big thank you to Marcelina, who was our main contact when we were planning the trip. She was extremely responsive, helpful, and patient in arranging our itinerary and accommodations, and she continued to be helpful even while we were on the trip. Having someone so reliable to communicate with made the entire planning process much easier.
Overall, we are incredibly grateful to Meijo for giving us such a memorable and special experience in Tanzania. Everyone we interacted with at the company was professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to making our trip a success.

Incredible 9-Day Kenya Safari with Sun Summit & Safaris
We just returned from an unforgettable 10-day safari through Kenya with Sun Summit & Safaris, and we can't recommend them highly enough.
From our very first exchange, Diana was outstanding to work with. She was incredibly responsive and well-spoken, and she took real care in customizing our itinerary to keep us within budget without ever making us feel like we were sacrificing quality. She set clear expectations at every stage, offered genuinely helpful suggestions along the way, and made sure we felt well taken care of from the initial planning all the way through the last day of the trip.
On the ground, we were fortunate to have two excellent guides. Boniface was with us for the bulk of the journey — from Nairobi through Ol Pejeta, Naivasha, and Hell's Gate National Park, and on into the Masai Mara. He was especially attentive to my elderly parents, consistently checking on their comfort and pacing the days in a way that let them enjoy every stop without feeling rushed or worn out. He also went above and beyond searching for the elusive big cats — lions, cheetahs, and leopards — patiently tracking sightings while always staying respectful of park and preserve guidelines. His knowledge of the wildlife and landscapes made every drive feel special, and his warmth and attentiveness made the days even better. For the final leg of the trip, Joshua picked us up at Amboseli and got us safely back to Nairobi, closing out the trip on just as strong a note as it began.
Between Diana's thoughtful planning and the care shown by both Boniface and Joshua, this was one of the best-organized and most memorable trips our family has taken. If you're considering a safari in Kenya, we'd point you straight to Sun Summit & Safaris.

We booked a private safari with Wild Portraits Safaris for Nairobi National Park and three days in the Masai Mara, and if you are looking for a serious, trustworthy safari company in Kenya, look no further.
James was my main point of contact and made everything easy from start to finish. He was responsive, reliable and made sure the whole trip ran smoothly.
Richard was our private guide and he was exceptional. He was always on time, extremely knowledgeable, a fantastic driver and clearly very experienced. As a photographer, I really appreciated that he also understood what makes a good photo and knew exactly how to position the vehicle for the best opportunities.
Because it was a private tour, we had the flexibility to spend more time where it mattered and avoid the crowded areas. Richard knew the parks incredibly well and often took us to quieter, more remote spots that most tourists simply did not reach.
One of the highlights was finding a pride of around 15 lions in a remote part of the Mara. Over three days we easily saw the Big Five, along with a huge amount of other wildlife.
The whole experience felt personal, professional and never rushed. If you want a private safari, especially for wildlife photography, I would recommend Wild Portraits Safaris without hesitation.

Absolutely Fabulous East Africa Tour Experience, Usoke Explorers made us feel like family!
My boyfriend and I traveled with Usoke Explorers through Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. We had a fabulous experience with Usoke Explorers, in particular its founder and owner, Andrew. Before our trip, he spent a lot of time working on our itinerary and adjusting it to our needs and desires, even significantly cutting costs for us wherever he could. On the trip, he made us feel like family right from the start; we were always laughing and having fun. Additionally, Andrew knew sooo much about the various cultures, villages, parks, and animals and shared with us a lot of his knowledge. It was so clear that Andrew loves what he does.
In addition to Andrew, the other local guides and drivers that took us on our Safaris and drove us all day from place to place were ALL fabulous. Steven who drove us for a couple days in Tanzania was really kind, knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Medad, who was our guide on the Tanzania safaris was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, he was so thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable, and passionate, and proactive; you didn’t have to ask him to move closer or get a better view of the animals, he just did it and he always knew where to find the hard to spot animals. Next, Washington was our driver and guide in Kenya. He was very fun to be with, always joking around but also teaching us so much about Kenya and the various cultures and animals within it. We greatly enjoyed our time with him and felt we learned a lot. Finally, Allen drove 8 hours from Kampala to meet us with the car at the Ugandan border only to take the public bus back that night as we continued onto Sipi Falls, we weren’t with him for long but we enjoyed the time we spent with him and are so grateful for his time and help in ensuring a smooth journey for us.
Overall, Andrew and his team catered to our every need, including calling hotels ahead to let them know my food allergies and ensuring we were comfortable and happy with our beds and showers.
Andrew can take you anywhere and do pretty much anything in East Africa for a good price! We were in great hands and I can’t recommend Andrew and his team enough!

Pembury Tours were simply outstanding in their organisation of our African adventure
We have just returned from a 3-week adventure across Victoria Falls, Botswana and Cape Town. Pembury Tours were absolutely amazing in their planning, communication and delivery of our trip. All of the lodges and accommodation were excellent, the food was amazing and the wildlife safaris were as good as we could possibly have hoped for. This was our first visit to Africa and obviously our first safari experience, to see rhinos, lions, leopards, elephant, wild dogs and so many antelope and other animals was just incredible. I highly recommend Pembury Tours and Melanie who looked after all our trip details was a pleasure to deal with.
We had incredible encounters and the animals seemed so close, but we never felt unsafe with the guides who looked after us.

An unforgettable trip and experience
Our safari experience was incredible, from beginning to end. The organization was very easy; Patrick was always attentive, tailoring the trip to our preferences, and communication was quick.
Our guide, Msaga, proved to be a true professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the environment and the animals. He was always on hand to ensure we saw as much as possible, up close and personal. He was kind, patient, responsible, and had a great sense of humor. Thank you so much for everything, once again.

This 6-day safari was an adventure far better than expected
We had done safaris before but the thought of sleeping in tents in the wilderness did make us a bit nervous. In the end, it turned out better than expected and it was worth the risk.
Our guide Philimon was excellent at track reading which really helped that we saw all the animals that we wanted to. Not only did we want to see lions, but also a lioness with cubs. And we did, with 4 cubs right next to us. We were also right next to elephants swimming throgh the Chobe river totally submerged with only their trunks coming up once in a while.
The tents are in good condition and one can stand up in them. The best part is a private toilet area behind the tent which can be used and night. The food was very good and different every day. Congratulations for making fresh bread every day over a fire.
We did a 6-day safari from Okavanga Delta to Victoria Falls and can really recommend it.
