Got very detailed pricing from Johnson, the company manager and responded to messages and requests very promptly. Got.exactly what we asked for, completely tailored itinerary. The jeep is owned by the company and it is in very good condition with fridge and ac outlets. And the driver George is an experienced bird expert,and every carinh about everything on the way, timing etc. Will definitely recommend to everyone.

The tour was an unforgettable experience. The booking was very simple and the communication was great. Everything was well organized. The guide was driving safely and we got to the lodges on time. The evening and early morning game drives were fantastic. We got to see a lot of animals and the guide fulfilled every wish. All in all a great experience and we can totally recommend it.

An amazing 12 day safari Bamboo Ecotours!
Big thanks to Edison and John, our guide, for an amazing 12 day safari! I would highly recommend Bamboo Ecotours for any trip to Uganda.
When planning our trip Edison was easy to work with; he adapted our trip as needed, adding Golden Monkey tracking in Mgahinga National Park and an extra rest day in Bunyoni, plus adapting our accommodation to a mix of budget and mid-range. His communication style was professional, with prompt replies throughout the process and a clear itinerary confirmed before any payments were made. He then provided contact details for our guide a week before the trip started leaving us in full confidence before we left home.
Our guide, John, met us at our hotel in Entebbe and the 12 days took us through incredible landscapes and parks such as Ziwa, Murchison, Kibale, Bwindi, Mgahinga, Mburo and Mbama swamp. John was friendly and easy to get on with. With him the trip ran smoothly, from getting to hotels, navigating dusty mountain roads, spotting animals in the parks and getting to the chimp, gorilla & golden monkey tracking. Spending 12 days with him also meant we had plenty of time to ask lots of questions and learn more about life in Uganda! The car was a Landcruiser with a pop-top roof meaning we had no problems on the rough roads, and a great view of animals in the park.
We chose ‘budget’ and ‘midrange’ for our accommodation and all of Edison’s recommendations were excellent. The best was Isunga Lodge near Kibale, and other highlights were Hyena Hill Lodge (Mburo) and Birdsnest Resort (Bunyoni)
Some recommendations, on our itinerary we had 2 optional trips (which we paid extra for). These were the Bigodi community walk and visit to the Batwa community. I would recommend both. The visit to Bigodi was interesting, but it was the insight into the Batwa community that was most eye opening and informative (and an insight that is maybe missed by those just going for gorillas).
The final recommendation would be to add a rest bay at Bunyoni if you have the time. Originally we were to just have an afternoon and the next morning in Bunyoni, but we changed this so we had a full day next to the lake in the Birdsnest Resort. After some 7 days on the road this was a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. It also meant we were more rejuvenated for the final few days of our trip.

Highly recommend for safaris in masai and Nakuru. Highly professional yet value for money!
I had an amazing four-day safari experience with Axis Africa, covering Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. From the booking process to the safari itself, the entire experience was professional, well-organised, and offered excellent value for money.
A special mention to Tabitha, who was extremely helpful throughout the booking process. She patiently answered all my questions, helped me fine-tune the itinerary, and was always very prompt and responsive. Her professionalism and willingness to help made the planning process very smooth.
The airport pickup by David was also seamless. He was punctual and ensured a smooth handover to our safari guide, Tom, who accompanied us throughout the four days.
Tom deserves a very special mention. Honestly, I don't think my safari would have been nearly as great without him. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible wildlife experience. He put in a tremendous amount of effort to help us spot and experience the animals and wildlife, while also sharing a wealth of interesting information about Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, the animals, and the local environment.
What really stood out about Tom was his clear communication, professionalism, patience, and ability to interact so well with everyone in the group. He was attentive to everyone's needs, made sure all of us were comfortable, and genuinely took good care of the group throughout the trip. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the safari much more engaging and memorable.
Overall, I highly recommend Axis Africa to anyone looking for a safari in Kenya, particularly if you are looking for a professional operator offering a great experience at good value for money. And if you get the opportunity to have Tom as your guide, you are in excellent hands!

Amazing adventure with kids
We took the 3-day 2-night Maasi Mara tour with Sunup Adventures with a 5 and 7 year old. When you travel with kids, it tends to make everything a little extra challenging and I couldn't have picked a better company to go with. Chris answered every Whatsapp message and email I sent with very clear responses, answering all my questions in an extremely timely manner. On the morning of our trip, he came to our hotel and personally introduced us to our driver Dave who would be taking us for the actual tour. It was such a thoughtful touch that ensured we started off on the right foot. Dave was perfection. He handled the 3 days of long driving like an absolute champ. He had no problems managing the busy Nairobi roads or highways, even going above and beyond to help us avoid a major traffic jam on our way back. We could have been stuck there for hours if it wasn't for him. He was great with the kids, full of patience and fun, and he was an amazing game driver and guide. He helped us find every animal we could have wished for. In short, I was nervous about doing this with the kids and I could not have chosen a better company to do with it. They made the whole thing from initial communication and planning to actual safari an absolute dream. 10/10

Excellent, reliable safari guide with safe driving
We had an amazing safari in Kenya with our guide Robinson. He is extremely professional, diligent and reliable. His driving is smooth and steady, making us feel safe at all times. He is thoughtful and practical, focusing on getting things done instead of unnecessary chatter.
Whenever we ran into small problems, he handled them efficiently. He has great wildlife knowledge and was good at spotting animals. The whole trip went perfectly without any hassle.
We really valued his down-to-earth and responsible attitude. Strongly recommend him for your safari. If we visit Kenya again, we will definitely book him.

We booked on to a 5 day Masai Mara/Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha tour and it was great! The booking team were very responsive and accommodating and all the accommodation and staff were great. Our tour guide was Tom, from the start he was very polite, and kept good communication. It was obvious that Tom enjoys his job, and is passionate about his job and giving the best experience to his group. He asked everyone what they would most like to see and made it his mission to provide it, he was vey good at finding the best opportunities to see all the animals. He had great knowledge about everything we did and happily answered all our questions, I learnt a lot from him. When would see the animals he would make sure everyone was done before moving on and never made us feel rushed or like an inconvenience! Alongside side all this he was very warm and welcoming, had a great sense of humour, happy to talk and a very safe driver. He made the tour really enjoyable and I loved every moment!
