A Wonderful Safari Experience with Zamsato
5/5

Our experience with Zamsato was truly wonderful. Daniel was incredibly kind, helpful, and always available whenever we needed anything. His support went far beyond simply organizing our safari: he was attentive to every detail, always ready to help, and genuinely concerned about our comfort and personal needs.
What made the experience especially special was knowing that we could count on him at any time, whether we needed assistance with the safari arrangements or help with any other personal matter. His kindness, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel welcome, safe, and well looked after throughout our experience.
We are truly grateful to Daniel for his outstanding assistance and personal attention. We highly recommend Zamsato to anyone looking for a well-organized safari with a tour operator that genuinely cares about its clients.
Thank you, Daniel, for everything! Your kindness and availability made a real difference and made our experience even more memorable.

Most reliable and engaging people you'll ever meet
5/5

If I ever do this trip again, I would definitely do it with Africa Zim Travel. We had a 9-days tour from Maun (Okawango delta) to Victoria Falls. Everything was excellent, from the communication, service, value for money, reliability and the tour itself.
The lodges where we stayed were all unique with top service, sometimes even felt like a luxury experience.
We definitely have to single out 2 persons:
Pamela 1, the travel agent - from the first contact until the tour was over, she was always ready to accommodate any itinerary proposals we had, informed us about all important information before and during the trip, additionally checked with us during the trip if everything is going well so you feel you're in good hands all the time
Pamela 2, our travel guide - I cannot express how much she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, welcome and made us feel like at home. She is so easy to talk to, informative, an excellent driver and most of all becomes your friend. I wouldn't choose anyone else, if coming back there. She is definitely one of the reasons this tour was so memorable and fun for us. <3

Unreal, unbelievable !
5/5

A very well-organized stay, made all the more special by the excellent relationship we developed with Agness, who was always available, friendly, and full of great advice.

The safari truly lived up to our expectations, especially the unforgettable experience of witnessing a leopard hunting at night. This was made possible by the expertise of our guide, Obedi, and our driver, whose excellent knowledge of the reserve and its wildlife hotspots made all the difference.

Finally, we enjoyed warm and enriching encounters with wonderful people.

I highly recommend this experience!

100% Reliable – 24 Unforgettable Days Exploring Uganda!
5/5

Adventures to Gorilla Africa: 24 Days in Uganda and an Unforgettable Experience! 🦍🦜🐘

An amazing trip, perfectly organised, with a fantastic guide behind the wheel and enough wildlife to fill your memory cards to the brim!

After a 24-day tour of Uganda, we can only say one thing: what an incredible country, and how happy we are that we booked our trip with @Adventures to Gorilla Africa!

From our very first contact with the owner, Rogers, to the final day of our trip, everything was exceptionally well organised. The combination of breathtaking scenery, incredible wildlife, wonderful accommodation and personal service made this a truly unforgettable experience.

Rogers: Personal service at its very best

From the beginning, communication with Rogers was excellent. We had quite a few questions before the trip (and no, there weren’t just two! 😉), but he always answered quickly, clearly and thoroughly. Often, we received a reply almost immediately.

Rogers listened carefully to our wishes and put together a well-balanced itinerary with a great variety of activities. You can tell that he genuinely wants to create a trip that suits his guests, rather than simply offering a standard package.

We could even contact him during our holiday. We asked whether he could buy something for us and hand it over towards the end of our trip. No problem at all! Now that’s what we call service.

Self-driving or hiring a car with a driver? We know which one we’d choose!

Normally, we prefer to drive ourselves when travelling through African countries. So, we’re certainly no strangers to the traffic and adventure that come with it. Nevertheless, we were very glad that we followed Rogers’ advice and opted for a vehicle with a driver and guide.

Kampala deserves a special mention. What an absolute madhouse the traffic is! Motorbikes come flying at you from every direction, carrying just about anything and everything. Sometimes you wonder whether there’s any room left for another passenger or piece of cargo. 😄

The traffic in and around the capital is an experience in itself. It’s wonderful not to have to concentrate on driving yourself, but instead to sit back, relax and take in your surroundings while someone else deals with the road.

Our advice: take Rogers’ recommendation and hire a car with a driver-guide. It makes the journey much more relaxing and gives you far more opportunities to enjoy the country along the way.

Alfred: Driver, guide and professional wildlife spotter

Our driver and guide, Alfred, deserves a section of his own.

As a former driving instructor, I may be a little more critical of someone’s driving than the average passenger. But Alfred gets a solid ten out of ten from me, without hesitation! He drove exceptionally well, calmly and with constant attention to safety, even on roads where you sometimes wonder whether they can still be called roads.

And his sense of direction? Alfred seemed to know exactly where he was going, even in the middle of nowhere. Google Maps could certainly learn a thing or two from him!

As a guide, he was particularly good at spotting animals, including small birds that we would easily have overlooked ourselves. He also maintained excellent relationships with other guides and regularly exchanged information with them. This sometimes helped us locate wildlife more quickly.

It was also lovely to see how enthusiastically other guides greeted Alfred whenever they met him. That says a lot about the relationships he has built over the years.

For us, as keen wildlife and bird photographers, he was a fantastic guide. Naturally, you don’t want to miss anything on a trip like this, and Alfred regularly drew our attention to special sightings.

Extra attention for bird lovers and photographers 🦜📸

Although Alfred already had a very good knowledge of birds himself, Rogers arranged for an additional specialist local bird guide in each area we visited.

We thought this was an outstanding touch. We love photographing both larger animals and birds, and that extra local expertise really added to our experience. It showed that Rogers doesn’t simply take his guests’ general preferences into account; he also pays attention to their specific interests.

Uganda is an absolutely fantastic destination for nature lovers and photographers. Sometimes, you simply don’t know where to point your camera first. And just when you think you’ve finished taking pictures, something else appears!

A little warning: make sure you bring enough memory cards and preferably some extra storage space. You’ll need it! 😉

Gorillas, chimpanzees and exceptionally well-organised excursions 🦍🐒

The excursions, including the gorilla and chimpanzee treks, were very well organised. Everything went smoothly and without any problems.

These are, of course, experiences you don’t get to enjoy every day. Seeing gorillas or chimpanzees in their natural habitat is truly impressive. It’s reassuring to know that the arrangements behind these special encounters are taken care of so well, allowing you to focus entirely on the experience itself.

Accommodation, food and transport: all excellent

All the accommodation we booked was spotlessly clean, and the food was exceptionally good. The comfort and standards were excellent and met our expectations.

Our safari vehicle may not have been the newest on the road, but it was powerful and reliable. Even better, the roof could be raised, allowing us to stand up inside the vehicle during game drives.

This was ideal for photographing animals and birds. It gave us a much better view and made taking pictures considerably easier, without constantly having to shoot through a window. For photographers, that’s a real bonus!

A vehicle doesn’t have to be brand new to do its job exceptionally well. Reliability and practicality are ultimately much more important.

Uganda: a hidden gem for nature lovers

During our 24 days, we experienced an incredible variety of landscapes and natural environments. From dry savannahs and national parks to tropical rainforests, impressive lakes, gorillas, chimpanzees and an enormous diversity of birdlife.

Uganda has so many different ecosystems and so much wildlife to offer that we genuinely wonder why it isn’t much better known as a safari destination.

We never felt unsafe at any point during our trip. The excellent organisation, an experienced driver-guide and the wonderful hospitality we encountered all contributed to that feeling.

For anyone who loves nature, wildlife and photography, Uganda is a destination that absolutely deserves a place on the list. But even if you’re simply looking for a varied tour and the opportunity to discover a beautiful country, there is an incredible amount to see and experience.

Our verdict: highly recommended!

Adventures to Gorilla Africa organised an unforgettable 24-day tour for us.

* Rogers: Excellent communication, personal attention and an itinerary genuinely tailored to our wishes.
* Alfred: An exceptionally skilled and safe driver, an excellent guide and a fantastic spotter of wildlife and birds.
* The excursions: Well organised and completed without any problems.
* Accommodation and food: Clean, comfortable and of excellent quality.
* The specialist bird guides: A wonderful extra that made our trip even more rewarding.
* Transport: A reliable safari vehicle and the luxury of being able to relax and enjoy the scenery along the way.

We wholeheartedly recommend Adventures to Gorilla Africa to anyone wishing to discover Uganda, from safari enthusiasts and birdwatchers to photographers, nature lovers and travellers looking for a well-organised, personalised tour.

And one more thing: don’t underestimate the traffic in Kampala. Sometimes it seems as though every motorbike has its own traffic plan! 😄 Leave the driving to Alfred and enjoy everything Uganda has to offer.

Thank you, Rogers and Alfred, for 24 fantastic days! We returned home with wonderful memories, countless photographs and an even greater enthusiasm for Uganda.

And for anyone wondering whether Uganda is worth visiting, our answer is an enthusiastic yes. With Adventures to Gorilla Africa as your tour operator, we would happily do this trip all over again!

An Amazing Safari Experience with an Excellent Guide
5/5

We had a great safari experience with Thamani African Safaris and would recommend them to other travelers.

Our guide, Jackson, was excellent—professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He helped us spot many animals and made the safari truly memorable. The vehicle was in great condition, and the tented camps during the first two nights were also well arranged. Before our trip, Greater gave us a detailed briefing about important things to know, which was very helpful.

Communication was generally good, and the overall value for money was reasonable. There was one small issue with our transfer in Zanzibar: the driver was originally supposed to take us directly to Stone Town, but took us to our hotel first, which meant an additional transfer had to be arranged. Greater helped resolve the issue promptly.

Overall, we were happy with our experience. The safari itself was fantastic, and both Greater and Jackson contributed greatly to making it so enjoyable. I would recommend Thamani African Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

This Past year we visited Tanzania , let me tell you how it went. From the moment our plane touched down, every aspect of our trip was meticulously managed. What a Feast!
5/5

From baby zebras nursing and herds drinking by the river to giraffes feeding in the trees, and hyenas and vultures enjoying their meals — we witnessed the circle of life right before our eyes.

Trip of a lifetime to Kenya organized by Origin Safaris
5/5

This trip could not have been better. Origin operators were quick to respond to questions prior to the safari and met with us at the end of our journey. Throughout our time in Kenya, our guide, Edwin, made our trip fun and educational with his vast knowledge of the mammals, birds, geography, and the culture. He clearly had a passion for his job and also a wonderful sense of humor. We visited Samburu National Reserve, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The food and accommodations were wonderful. This was truly a trip of a lifetime.
