You will not find a better tour company to work with!
What you cannot know from looking at safari websites is how big a tour company is, how many tours they are running concurrently, how experienced they are in the business, or how many staff they have. Had I known that Reteti was relatively small and new to the safari tour space, I might have passed them by assuming they wouldn't have the capacity to provide what we needed or the breadth and depth of experience to provide the best there was to offer. But that would have been a HUGE mistake. In fact, Reteti provided the best possible experience with the most attentive, personable, and accommodating staff imaginable!
We picked Reteti, not based on reviews, but because they offered a safari option that gave us a lot of variety in the short amount of time we had available to us. We went to Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli in 5 days.
We communicated by email and WhatsApp with only 2 different people, Kimani and Catherine. We learned later that Catherine and her husband own Reteti. I NEVER had to wait more than 24 hours for a response to every question I had (and I had a LOT). They were patient and kind and wanted to know and understand why we were coming and what our hopes were for our experience.
For example, this safari was a "bucket list" adventure in celebration of my 50th birthday. When Catherine learned that, she arranged for one of our hotels to do something special. When we got to our room, the first bed was decorated with fresh rose petals and leaves that spelled out "HBD".
The hotels we stayed at reflected the warm hospitality that Kenyans are famous for. Pride Inn Mara was our favorite. Every staff member made it their mission to make our stay easy and good. The Sopa lodge at Naivasha was equally accommodating, but much larger so naturally less personal. The Sopa lodge at Amboseli was a step down in accommodations (less anticipating of our needs, we had to ask for more, but they always responded), but no less friendly and certainly adequate.
The safari experience itself is very dependent on your driver/guide. And it was apparent from the beginning that we had one of the best. Charles knew his way around so well that we were often in the vehicle with the best views and access to the animals. He shared important information with us about politics of conservancy among different tribes and the Kenyan government, the geography and landscape, and of course the animals – all of which greatly enriched and expanded our experience.
We signed on for all the optional experiences and highly recommend others do the same, especially the hot air balloon ride which includes an amazing hot bush breakfast afterwards, complete with a custom order omelet station! It's worth getting up very early. It's worth the high price tag. Please know that the landing can be a bit rough, though, and I wouldn't recommend it for people with neck or back problems.
But overall, I can't say enough about how genuine and trustworthy they are. Catherine and her team graciously provided everything we needed and more. The entire experience, from first contact to booking to preparation to the trip itself and then lunch the last day, far exceeded our dreams and expectations. I am forever grateful.

Wonderful adventure in the best Tanzania parks safari
The experience was amazing: we chose "9-day lake Natron and iconic parks safari" with Topy Tours because the journey included all the Parks in the north of Tanzania, in particular Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Northern and Central Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and also the Lake Natron. We arrived in Arusha, near to Kilimangiaro airport, and we finished the safari in the same city. Jackson in the previous months sent us all the program, he is very professional and kind. We are very happy and grateful for this trip: we saw a lot of animals, like elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, cheetah and others. In the Norhern Serengeti we were very lucky because we saw the migration of gnus trough the Mara river, we were very excited! Besides the animals, also the landscape is incredible.
The lodges and the tented camps were wonderful! For two nights we slept into the Serengeti National Park and we saw an elephant and an hippo near our tent! It was amazing. Also the food was delicious. Our guides Ibra and Ciprian were perfect drivers and they described during the trip animals and landscape. So we recommend Topy Tours because is a local agency with excellent quality/price. Thank you very much Jackson, I hope to return to Tanzania and if so, we will choose again Topy Tours!

Legitimate, competent
This is a legitimate tour company .
We did a Kenyan safari in early August 2025. Jackson from Voyages of Magical Africa was our organizer. The arrangements for our stay and travel were very comfortable and good value for money . Our tour guide Simon was polite and punctual and helped sort out the occasional minor inconveniences during our trip.
Overall , a great experience.

Unforgettable safari in a beautiful country with lovable people !
We discovered Tanzania (and Zanzibar previously) in the best way with Fahamu Safaris ! These 6 days (Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti) are unforgettable, and I want to return as soon as possible ! Organisation was very good, chosen hotel were very well and the 2 4x4 were as comfortable as possible.
We have 2 excellent guides, Innocent and Dismas, very kind and talkative, and always smiley ! Dismas speaks really good French, and it was really a pleasure to discuss with them to learn more about animals, Tanzanian culture, Nature Reserve operation, Maasaï life, Swahili language and others, with humour obviously ! They were very attentive to our wishes and knew perfectly the parks. Thanks to us, we could see very close all the Big 5 and more ! And on top of that, they are very good in mechanics !
Jesca and Jastone are always available for any questions, and Jesca was full of small attentions, with many gifts for everybody !
Asante Sana for the discover of Tanzania, a marvellous country with smiles, amazing landscapes (Serengeti is magic !), and wild animals, see you soon maybe !

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Magoma
Professional, amiable, and extremely informed, Zair was an amazing guide. In addition to sharing amazing tales about the wildlife and the surroundings, he made sure we visited all the attractions. Zair's knowledge and Claws Of Africa's attention to detail made our safari very remarkable. I'd love to take another trip with them!

AMAZING TOUR EXPERIENCE
Kitonga Tours & Safaris provided my girlfriend and I with an experience that will never be forgotten. Their staff was very cordial and professional throughout the entire process. Because of the safari guides' enthusiasm and expertise, every wildlife drive was both entertaining and instructive. They made sure we saw lions, elephants, and cheetahs, among other species we had intended to see, and we adored how customized the service was. Everything about the vacation went smoothly, including the lodging and transportation, and we always felt secure and taken care of. This trip really beyond our expectations; we are grateful to Kitonga Tours for organizing such a wonderful excursion!

A very special mention goes to our guide, Rio, who truly made the experience exceptional. Rio was not only highly knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystems of the Maasai Mara, but also deeply passionate, patient, and incredibly intuitive. Thanks to his expert tracking skills and understanding of animal behavior, we saw everything from a cheetah hunt to a river crossing!
