He was very accommodating to our needs. His driving was exceptional, which we feel very grateful for (seeing that some other cars got stuck in the mud). Never has the lodge motto " A hideaway into the wilderness " taken its full dimension than during my stay in such a serene environment. First of all I wish to make laudable comments about the logistics of my stay: I booked a Fly in Safari with 1 night @ Selous Kinga Lodge from Dar-Es-Salaam. I went to visit their Dar office and met a super dedicated Team. I was picked up from Sheraton Four Points hotel early in the morning and dropped at the airport. Upon my arrival a vehicle was waiting for me at the airstrip with a super professional game ranger / driver. From there we went straight into a game drive during the day. I saw quite a few lions at very close range as well as elephants & giraffes. The game reserve exploration was punctuated with picnic Breakfast & Lunch. Very good service and quality food😋. We reported to the Lodge at around 4.00 pm. I was warmly welcomed by the Lodge Manager who gave me a thorough presentation of the hideaway. There is a clear and exciting vision for the development of the lodge✊🏻🎯👏 . The Lodge Chef came to discuss the dinner and breakfast menu with me. The attributed mini villa perched on a tree was very spacious and well decorated. Dinner was superb with a nice bush fire to add to the authenticity of decoration. The quality of the wood furniture was out of this world🤩. In the morning after a quick breakfast I was collected by the the Game Ranger . He took me to the boat for a River safari. That was to me the highlight of the trip. Beautiful ride on the river with memorable visions of weaver birds nests, close encounter with Nile crocodiles, hippos and communion with nature. 🐤🐊🦛. A huge breakfast was served at the Lodge after. After a nice rest I was collected to go to the airstrip at around 1.45 pm. I returned to Dar Es Salaam via Zanzibar airport. A minibus picked me from the airport and dropped me back to Sheraton in Dar. Fabulous stay overall🙏🏻🫶🙏🏻

Firstly, I love Fran, the manager and the owner. She is a kind and lovely friend，a beautiful lady, a successful businesswoman, a devoted mother and a trustworthy and generous cooperation partner. Whenever I have a rough idea, she would immediately made an explicit plan for me, including cost, timetable, tips and more. I can rely on her without any hesitation– and I’m sure you will too. Our communication is very smooth and highly effective. Also, the whole service team is making every effort to give tourists a family feeling.
Secondly, a huge thank-you to our guide Steve. He is not only fully experienced and responsible at his work, but also a warm-hearted person enjoying caring others and contributing to the society. We have spotted big 5 and a lot of other animals ( like jackals, cranes, eagles, elands) without disturbing them seriously because Steve understands animal behaviours and deeply respect the wildlife. He indeed has a pair of eagle eyes and enough patience. He chose long-time driving rather than directing to the destination straight because he wanted to show us the breathtaking landscape and Maasai people's life. He impressed me on the very first day we met by saying "sharing is caring".
Finally, I highly recommend this team to you guys looking for an unforgettable safari in amazing Tanzania. If I plan another safari in the future, I will definitely choose this company. Hope to see Fran's team again very soon.

Great Operator manage to help three outdoor rookies successfully climb Kilimanjaro!
We are three outdoor rookies all manage to climb Kilimanjaro with Spirit of Kilimanjaro team. The communication with William before we arrive is very smooth, we have asked a lot questions and made various requests. William is very responsive and patient, accommodating to our request very well. When one of our member missed flight, he is very helpful and providing all types of solutions. With no experience of high attitude climb, we had a rough start with mountain sickness and almost all want to quit before day 3. Our team leader Mfaume is very experienced, he evaluates our situation throughly, gives us a lot of encouragement, and adjust the rhythm, daily task accordingly. Thanks to him and the team’s help, we all adapt the situation better every day and all successfully climb to the top.
