Simply the best
5/5

I had an unforgettable safari with Kay Adventure Tours in October 2024. The highlight was staying at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, where the views and wildlife made it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. A big thank you to Mourine, who was so helpful, reliable, and professional throughout – she truly made the trip seamless and memorable. I highly recommend Kay Adventure Tours to anyone planning a safari!

Meru Slopes and Samwil is the best!
5/5

We had a private 11-day trip across Tanzania from 8/28-9/7 and we had a wonderdul time!

Our driver/guide Samwil is the best! He accommodates all our needs without hasitation, when we want to do something that is out of the norm, he is always ready and happy to do. Samwil is also an experiencd driver/guide, his past auto-repair mechanical job experience is a tremendous plus as he takes care of our jeep daily and drives with caution, as we are on the vast remote dirt roads daily with long hours, safety and jeep reliability is the number one priority and one can always count on Samwil for that. I am very happy with the services that Samwil provided and feel very fortunte that Samwil is assigned to us.

Overall the Meru Slope company is great! Reasonably priced with great services, the food, the accommdations, the game drives are all first class, AND we see all we come to see plus more. Definitely exceeded my expectations!

As a result, I highly recommend the Meru Slopes company for Africa and Tanzania trips, especially Samwil as the driver/guide. From my personal experience, I can assure that one will be very happy at the end of the trip with this choice.

Amazing
5/5

We recently returned from a 5-day trip to Kenya and booked our tour through Liesureway Adventures. From start to finish, the entire experience was very well organised and truly memorable.

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, covering all the highlights we wanted to see, while still allowing us enough time to relax and enjoy each destination. The accommodations, park entries, and activities were all arranged smoothly without us having to worry about a single detail.

We were provided with a comfortable Land Cruiser throughout the trip, which made travelling between the parks and game drives very enjoyable. Most importantly, our driver, Victor, was excellent—professional, punctual, knowledgeable about the parks and wildlife, and extremely kind and patient with us. He made the game drives exciting by spotting animals we would have surely missed and sharing interesting facts about them.

Overall, we felt safe, well taken care of, and very satisfied with the service. This trip has given us beautiful memories, and we would definitely recommend Liesureway Adventures to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. Thank you for making our journey so special!

Amazing
5/5

We went on a safari in Tanzania this August, and it honestly exceeded all my expectations. The landscapes were stunning, the wildlife incredible we saw everything from lions and elephants to even a leopard!

But what really made the trip special was our guide, John. He was knowledgeable, patient, and had an amazing eye for spotting animals. You could tell he truly loves what he does. He also shared so much about the culture and environment, which made the whole experience deeper and more meaningful.

I always felt safe, well taken care of, and completely in awe of everything around us. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Asante John!

Collin was a fun, attentive safari guide, always caring for everyone’s needs.
5/5

Our experience with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris was excellent in terms of value for money. We chose the Mid-Range Luxury accommodation and it was completely worth it. We saw plenty of wildlife and almost completed the Big Five — just missed the leopard by a bit of bad luck. The service and dedication of our guide were outstanding, and this is definitely an experience I would repeat.

Great 4 day safari!
5/5

We had an amazing 4-day safari through Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti! The whole experience was incredibly well organized, and the team made us feel very welcome and well taken care of.
Our guide, Machete, was absolutely fantastic – he always found the best spots for wildlife viewing and was very attentive to our wishes and preferences throughout the trip. Thanks to him, we were able to see so much and truly enjoy the beauty of the parks.
The food was also delicious every single day.
All in all it was a great experience and
I would definitely recommend this safari to others.

Perfect 4 day Safari!
5/5

The organization ran smoothly from the very beginning, everyone was extremely accommodating, and any questions we had were answered right away.
We had been searching for such a safari for a long time, and booking this one was truly the best decision we could have made. It was exactly how you imagine a perfect safari to be.
Our safari guide was very experienced, and we were able to see even more animals than we could have ever wished for. The accommodations were beautiful, and camping in particular was a truly unique experience. Even though that was our main priority, we were also very positively surprised by the food. We had a private chef, and we had never eaten as deliciously in Tanzania as we did during the safari.
It was a wonderful time that we will never forget, and we can definitely recommend this safari to anyone!

Great Private 5 Day Safari! But read notes below :)
4/5

Had a 5 day safari with Jocky Tours, private tour with 3 nights Masai Mara and 1 night in Lake Nakuru.
Picked up by our guide and driver James.

Headed to Masai stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint along the way. The trip took 6 to 7 hours, the jeep was quite old with seatbelts not working very well, seats not super comfortable for a trip that long. Arriving at Lenchada Camp we were greeted by the owners and brought for lunch. The food for the 3 days was good, rice, beans, veg. Happy to have Vegetarian option everyday.

We headed on an evening game drive & then had 2 full days of game drives. Then we left for Buraha at Lake Nakuru. We arrived at 3pm and had the evening free. I had thought we had a game drive that evening (my mistake upon re-reading the schedule info from Jocky Tours), but again we felt that this should have been communicated by our guide, a simple "today we are driving here, we will stop here and here, let me know if you need additional breaks, upon arriving you will have the evening free to rest for the game drive the next morning".

After our morning game drive at Lake Nakuru we headed back towards Nairobi stopping along the way for lunch at one of the Curio shops.

Safely back to Nairobi around 3pm.

Positives:
- Saw the big 5 + a plethora of animals, birds, lizards, was truly fantastic.
- James was a safe driver, was great for spotting animals and he was a chill guide for people who want a calm atmosphere.
- Lenchada camp had everything we needed, hot water, plenty of time to charge phones / cameras, amazing wifi, mosquito net (definitely needed).
- Buraha Zeoni resort at Lake Nakuru was great to stay.
- In all places staff were very friendly, helpful + accommodating.

Room for improvement:
- The jeep was old & unclean even when we were first picked up, seats extremely dusty since day 1, seatbelts not tightening properly, seats like rocks, very uncomfortable for a 7 hour drive.
- When we were picked up we headed to the Jocky Tours offices in the city centre, this was not communicated when booking and it felt a bit odd leaving the jeep open with many people around, with all our luggage inside as we headed to the offices, this needs to be communicated to your customers as I was not expecting this and created some apprehension.
- Really felt that information was limited from the guide in terms of schedules, plans for the day, info on animals was very basic. Would have been nice to hear more about the animals, their migration patterns, why certain animals graze together, who is nocturnal v not.
- Would also have been nice if we had been told about the Masai people, their culture, why they wear red etc found ourselves googling a lot as we were not being told by our guide.
- Buffet food at Lenchada camp is not kept covered and is left open for hours in the morning and at dinner. Many flies and insects landing on food.
- Despite communicating that we were vegetarian, our packed lunches on 1 of the 2 days were meat and we couldn't have our lunch that day, which was not great considering it's a 12 hour day out.
- On the second day of our full game drive, we returned to camp earlier than the previous day (2 hours earlier) this was not communicated to us, we just began the journey back to camp and it was disappointing as we had planned to take some pictures of the sunset on our last day in the Maasai.

Very nice tour!!
5/5

The tour company was kind and provides us with the best. There was a problem with a transfer but they solve the whole thing very quickly. Water and beer totally free and fresh. Our guide Nazary was lovely and explain everything we have asked. Really miss the trip and all the experiences I’ve had! Thank you for everything.
