Amazing memories made with the help of an amazing team!
5/5

My husband and I booked this “bucket list” trip as an early 25th wedding anniversary (now we have to stay together 😉)/belated 50th birthday celebration.

With the help of the very patient, professional, and personable Brian, with whom I communicated via WhatsApp and email over a coupe of months, we were able to secure excellent places to stay in Nairobi (1 night), Masai Mara (3 nights) and Diani (3 nights).

Everything from the meet & greets to the food, the choice of accommodation, and the service was superb (and I am a bit of a perfectionist). The trip was reasonably priced and all-inclusive with full board accommodation and meals, multiple park entry, safari drives (including a scenic drive up to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley). It also covered flights from Mara to Diani and a luxury train ride back from Mombasa (Diani) to Nairobi! It was great not to have the headache of figuring out connections and transfers and tickets—and just enjoying the ride.

Our highlight of the trip was witnessing one of the greatest wonders of nature—the wildebeest crossing from Serengeti to Mara.

This was only possible thanks to our guide John, who was extremely knowledgeable and had a great knack for having us at the right place at the right time to see as many of the big five as possible…and more (cheetah, leopard, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebra, hyenas, wild dogs, ostriches, buffalo, wildebeest, hippos, and a variety of gazelles/antelopes and birds).

Early morning drives enabled us to experience the awakening savannah and splendid sunrises, which will remain embedded in our memories until we’re old and gray.

Thank you Brian, John, and the amazing people at Amazing Memories Safaris. We had an amazing time!

The 3-days safari tour was such a good experience that I will keep in mind forever !
We have been able to see the Big 5 and way more, thanks to our guide Jeremy.

Everything was well organised and worth its price, I really recommend it.

Leopard Orchid Safaris and our guide Sam Made Our Kenya Family Trip Perfect.
5/5

We spent 6 unforgettable days exploring Kenya’s national parks with Leopard Orchid Safaris, and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The organization was seamless: well-planned routes, comfortable transfers, and a perfectly balanced itinerary between wildlife drives and rest. Our driver-guide Sam truly made the difference: his knowledge of the parks and animal behavior made every game drive engaging and safe. Traveling with our two children, aged 8 and 11, Sam’s patience and attentiveness made the safari genuinely memorable for them too. We highly recommend Leopard Orchid Safaris to anyone planning a Kenya safari!

Soectacular
5/5

I have just returned from a 7-day safari in Uganda with Ngori Safaris, and all I can say is that it was a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, the agency was extremely kind, flexible and professional, and I would especially like to highlight the excellent way they managed everything throughout the trip.
Our journey started with an unexpected situation: my travel companions arrived one day late because their flight was cancelled. Despite this, Ngori Safaris did everything they could to reorganise the itinerary and make sure we were still able to do practically everything we had planned. To me, this really shows the ability of a travel company to adapt to unexpected circumstances and find solutions so that travellers do not miss out on their experience.
In my case, I arrived before my companions and was alone in Entebbe. Steven came to pick me up at my hotel and arrived right on time, which immediately gave me a great sense of professionalism and reassurance.
As I still had a few hours before my companions arrived, Steven immediately made sure I was comfortable. He asked me what I would like to do and what I wanted to see, and he recommended different places for me to visit and enjoy my time in Entebbe. He was attentive to me throughout and made sure that, even though I was alone, I felt accompanied and very well looked after.
And I have to say that Steven deserves a very special mention.
Over those seven days, I discovered that he is much more than just a driver. He is a kind, warm, patient, fun and, above all, incredibly thoughtful person. He was constantly checking that we were okay, that we were comfortable, that we had everything we needed and that everything was to our liking. Always with a smile and a wonderful attitude.
As a driver, he is also exceptional. He knows Uganda, its roads, tracks and routes extremely well, and he makes you feel completely safe. You can immediately tell that he has a great deal of experience and knows the terrain inside out. Throughout the seven days, we did not have a single problem.
But what really makes Steven stand out is that he genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience. He does not simply drive you from one place to another. He gave us recommendations, explained things to us along the way and paid attention to all those little details that made the trip much more comfortable and special.
He also ended up becoming our official photographer! 😂📸 He was always happy to take photos of us, looking for good spots and showing incredible patience. Thanks to him, we now have so many beautiful photographs and wonderful memories of the trip.
Another thing he took great care of was the food. Whenever we ate outside the hotels and lodges that had already been booked for us, Steven always made an effort to take us to good-quality local places, so that we could also experience Ugandan cuisine. One day, he took us to a local restaurant where we had the most incredible roast pork — incredibly tender and delicious. It was absolutely fantastic.
The organisation by Ngori Safaris was also excellent. When I arrived, everything was perfectly organised and I did not have to worry about paying for small expenses that were already included in the programme. Even the entrance fee to the Lake Victoria gardens and the juice I had at Java Café were included. These may seem like small details, but for a traveller they make everything so much easier and more relaxing.
Our safari was an express 7-day safari, as part of a 19-day trip around Uganda, so we really needed to make the most of our time. Despite this, we managed to do practically everything we wanted to do and we did not experience a single problem during the safari.
Even on the days when we changed lodges, everything was very well organised, and Steven was always there to make sure everything went smoothly and comfortably for us.
And there is one thing I would especially like to highlight: thanks to Steven, I had one of the best travel birthdays of my life. 🎂❤️ Throughout the trip, he went out of his way to make me feel special and surprised me several times with thoughtful gestures I was not expecting. He turned what was already a special birthday, celebrating it while travelling through Uganda, into an even more beautiful and unforgettable memory.

Amazing experience
5/5

We booked this tour the night before and was very grateful that Twlight tours were able to accommodate. We did the 1 day trip to Nakuru lake, just the 2 of us. Our guide Albert was very knowledgeable and talked us through not only all the animals but also about the local areas on the drive to the reserve. Water was provided and he regularly asked if we needed restroom breaks, which was vital on a 3 hour drive!
Communication with the company was done through watsap, with a bank transfer required (I used Monzo as they have small fees) and the whole process was super easy. The lunch stop was stunning! Throughly recommend.

Solid but too hasty about the itinerary. Frequently rushing us to the car by waving and clapping han
2/5

The itinerary is overall fine since we are in the budget group. In Chinese old saying “一分钱一分货” the overall accommodation and food is just fine for budget group. I won’t complain about that. It’s the attitude that I want to complain about.

This is a lifetime experience for both of us. We wanted to enjoy. But the guide has been kind of indifferent about this. When we were taking pictures, he kept rushing by waving us and clapping hands. We didn’t have the chance to take some photos we liked. The photos with qilimanjaro and photos with some animals. He kept scrolling on his phone while game driving, watching local news. He was not keen about finding animals for us just follow the fixed route.
As in the same group, we two and other Indian friends were picked up earliest and dropped off the lastest. I don’t know if it’s discrimination against Asians or what. I didn’t want to pay the tips at the end, but since the guide asked I paid 100usd for me and my girlfriend for the 7days trip. I paid it not for recognition but just because he asked.

Besides maybe it’s budget group Some of The workers in hotels are not so friendly either. In Naivasha. I found two bags in our room which were ours. I asked the manager. They said that they have to switch our room from double room to twin room since the original room was others without even apologising, my girlfriend was quite sad about this. In the camp at ambosali. This happened again but in a worse way. The manager waved me over and kept me waiting until he finished talking on the phone than than me they have to change our room. I’m okay with the reason because again this is a budget group. But I don’t like the way I am treated

I will come to Africa again. But not Kenya maybe some where else

I guess the lesson is choose your guide if possible and be ware of the bad attitude
