Fun tour & relaxing tour
5/5

From the pickup, transport, stay, and tour everything was relaxing and made to be a fun moment.

Every staff member were polite and friendly.
First day tour with giude Lenard was exciting. He told us fun safari jokes along the way and he made sure all of us tourists were able to get a photo of the animals. Getting to see the lion was my favorite moment on day one.

Had a full day with tour guide Gevens. We made the best out of our day. Saw many animals we missed in our first half day including the leopard. Gevens was informative answering the many questions we asked about the animals we saw and even the birds we didn't see since its still winter season here. He drove us safely making the day relaxing. Time went by so quickly, you didn't want the tour to end. By the end of this day 2, we saw everything we expected to see.

You can tell the chef here takes pride in her cooking. She made us something different each time for appetizer and dinner. We told her we were vegetarian and she made us a separate meal from our goup. The portions were generous as well. And everything was delicious.

Our room was clean and spacious. Separate room inside for closet and changing and separate area for break room to sit and have tea/coffee. That was nice. For those coming in summer time, there are both ceiling fan and remote controlled air conditioner.

I would definitely recommend this Africa Moja to family and friends back home.

The most relaxing and treasured trip
5/5

We reached out to the team at Koi Travel for our recent journey through Nairobi and the Maasai Mara in Kenya. They truly made our entire experience incredibly memorable and stress-free. Not only did they secure a better rate than booking directly with the camp, but they also managed all flight bookings and airport transfers. When we wanted to include a day-long safari in Nairobi, they arranged everything at a very reasonable price. Our professional guide arrived on time in a comfortable vehicle for our visits to the Giraffe Center and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see the elephants, followed by a game drive in Nairobi National Park.

Koi also coordinated with the camp to arrange a private anniversary dinner for us. Despite a minor scheduling misunderstanding, Koi immediately worked with the camp staff to resolve it. Furthermore, they kindly provided us with a complimentary dinner in Nairobi, which was a deeply appreciated and thoughtful gesture.

Their prompt communication and attention to detail with guides and transportation were very impressive. Natasha, Virginia, Mubeen, and the entire Koi staff ensured this was one of our most relaxing and treasured trips, and we look forward to reaching out to them for our next safari adventure!

Exactly what we needed
5/5

Excellent coordination, professional communication, and seamless itinerary. Booked a private tour for my family at Nairobi National Park that was the highlight of our time in Kenya. Will definitely recommend.

Excellent Value for Money, Incredible Wildlife, and Two Outstanding Guides
5/5

We joined the 16-day accommodated safari through Zimbabwe and Botswana in late July and early August, and overall we were very happy with the experience. The tour offers excellent value for money and covers an impressive range of landscapes, wildlife areas, and activities.

Our guides, Ajibongwe and Tabani, played a major role in making the trip run so smoothly. Ajibongwe was knowledgeable, thoughtful and extremely professional. He shared a lot about the history, culture and traditions of the countries we visited, always in a natural and engaging way. His evening briefings were clear and useful, and he was (actually both guides were) also an excellent cook. We were genuinely impressed by the quality and variety of the meals prepared by our guides. There was always plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, despite there being only one committed vegetarian in our group. The meat was of good quality, everything was tasty, well balanced in terms of seasoning, and individual preferences were always taken into account. Portions were very generous and fresh fruit was constantly available on the truck. Tabani was a fantastic driver who handled some very rough roads with skill and confidence. He was always friendly, attentive and good-humoured, helping to create a relaxed atmosphere in the group. Together they made a great team and looked after us exceptionally well.

The itinerary includes plenty of game drives and opportunities to see wildlife, and we were fortunate to have some memorable sightings. Personally, I enjoyed the places that felt most remote and connected to nature. Matobo National Park was one of the highlights, especially an unforgettable close encounter with a rhino and her calf. Hwange was also a good experience: although wildlife can sometimes be more spread out than people expect, we were lucky enough to see both a cheetah and a lioness with her seven cubs. I also loved the Okavango Delta. Beyond the stunning landscape and sense of wilderness, what made it special were the incredibly warm local people, who openly shared their stories, experiences and knowledge with us. By the end of our stay, they had really found a place in our hearts. The clear night skies, untouched by any light pollution, were simply breathtaking and offered some of the best stargazing I've ever experienced.

The only activity that I enjoyed slightly less was the morning game drive in Chobe, simply because there were so many vehicles around some of the animals. In contrast, the sunset river cruise there was wonderful and offered a much more relaxed experience.

One thing future travellers should be aware of is the temperature. During our trip the mornings were often very cold, especially on game drives. It can also get surprisingly cold at night in the tented rooms and lodges, as there is generally no heating. There are always enough blankets, so sleeping is comfortable, but getting out of bed before sunrise can require some determination!

In the end, we were very happy that we had chosen the accommodated tour. Having a private bathroom at the end of a long day is worth a lot! Most of the accommodations were good, and several were excellent. Our only regret was that we rarely had enough time to truly enjoy them. During July and August the days are quite short, and we typically arrived in the late afternoon when it was already getting dark, then left again early the next morning. For that reason, the free day at Victoria Falls was particularly welcome and gave us a chance to slow down and appreciate the surroundings.

If I had one suggestion for the itinerary, it would concern the final two days, which are largely devoted to driving. This is probably why some people in our group chose to finish the tour in Maun, as mentioned/suggested also in the itinerary. The stop at Goo Moremi Gorge was pleasant enough, but the waterfalls themselves were not especially remarkable. Personally, I would have preferred a visit to Khama Rhino Sanctuary, which I understand was included in an earlier version of the itinerary. Even though we had already seen rhinos in Matobo, I think that would have been a more rewarding stop.

Overall, this was a very well-organised safari with excellent guides, plenty of wildlife-viewing opportunities and a good balance between the main highlights of Zimbabwe and Botswana. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and authentic safari experience.

Selected the best guides, appropriate lodging, well connected INTRA Aftrica flights.
5/5

From the time Tapestry of Africa met us at airport in Nairobi until we got to Moshi they were accommodating every step of the way. Our itinerary was well planned starting off with Nairobi National Park to get us a taste of what was to come. Bonevido our guide was welcoming and gave us valuable info of what we can expect. Service at all lodges we stayed was exceptional. The Kenyan and Tanzanian people were very kind and always smiling. I am sure the lodges selected were a big part of this. The food at all lodges was above par. Hot Air balloon ride in Masai Mara reserve was stunning to say the least. Enchipa lodge made is feel like we were in the middle of nowhere. Serena lodge in Serengeti and ELawan treetops were just epic. Our guide in Tanzania was one in nature with the animals. He could spot them a mile away. He was very patient in looking for animals. From watching the Cheetah head up on the hill and several minutes later attacked and killed an Impala. Joes driving was very considerate to us as passengers.(saved our backs from the rough roads). Value for the money with Tapestry was well below costs after talking to friends who have gone and are going. I highly recommend Tapestry of Africa for you Safari.

Amazing Tanzania Safari
5/5

We had a fantastic safari with Ecological Wilderness Adventures. This was our second safari with them since we enjoyed our first in 2012 so much. And this one was even better! We have been on safaris in many African countries and think that Tanzania is the best- so many parks and wonderful, well protected wildlife. We really like that this company is owned and run by local Tanzanians. Brian Mengoriki and his colleagues are friendly, professional and helpful. They took care of us from the moment we arrived to our departure. They are flexible- we designed our own safari itinerary and were able to add on a few stops as we went along. We had a small group of five friends and travelled in a comfortable safari vehicle. We visited Tarangire National Park (so many elephants!), Ngorogoro Crater (rhinos and much more), and the northern Serengeti, where we stayed in the field camp owned and run by Ecological Wilderness Adventures. We saw so much wildlife up close every day, including lots of lions, two leopards, beautiful birds, and sooo many wildebeest. Brian and his guides go beyond just spotting animals to tell about their behavior, ecology and how all the ecosystem fits together. I am a conservation biologist and still learned a lot from them. They were respectful of the animals too, which we appreciated. All the lodgings were fantastic with great food and comfortable rooms. Personally I like their Serengeti camp the best since we were immersed in nature. Wildebeest grazed outside our tent during the night which was so exciting! In addition to wildlife we learned about the local culture through a visit to a local town and banana farm, and a super interesting visit to a Masai village. We also visited the Olduvai Gorge museum where bones of early humans were discovered by Dr Leakey and colleagues. So interesting. We highly recommend going on safari to Tanzania with Ecological Wilderness Adventures. We can’t wait to go back again!

Absolutely unforgettable Masai Mara experience!
5/5

We had an incredible experience with Rozsella Africa Safaris from start to finish! Maurice made the planning process seamless and was communicative, reliable, and helpful every step of the way. Once we arrived, Peter and Joseph truly made our first Masai Mara safari unforgettable. They taught us the true meaning of the Hakuna Matata lifestyle and went above and beyond for us every single day. Peter and Joseph were amazing at finding their own routes, getting us the best possible views of wildlife sightings, and making sure we had an experience that felt personal rather than just following the crowds. Their knowledge, effort, and genuine passion made such a difference. The entire trip was well organized, reliable, and absolutely worth the money. Maurice helped us put everything together, and Peter and Joseph truly sealed the deal. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience in the Masai Mara and would highly recommend Rozsella Africa Safaris! We researched over 20 different companies and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Priceless experience with Rozsella Africa Safaris!
