I contacted about 20 number of company and tried to make deal with them.

Truly Amazing Experience
We had the most amazing experience with Akondo Adventures from start to finish. Everything was organised seamlessly, including our 3-day, 2-night safari, and the attention to detail throughout was exceptional.
The safari itself exceeded every expectation. From flying into the reserve on a small plane to staying in a beautiful, peaceful lodge, the whole experience felt exclusive and completely non-touristy. At times it genuinely felt like we were the only people there.
The wildlife was extraordinary. We saw so many animals, including lions, giraffes and elephants, often at very close range, and never felt rushed or surrounded by other vehicles. Every game drive felt thoughtful, calm and incredibly special.
Akondo Adventures truly understands how to create an authentic safari experience rather than a mass-market one. It was beautifully curated, personal and unforgettable from beginning to end. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would absolutely use them again.

Our 8-day safari with Edwin Safari was not just a trip. It was a once-in-a-lifetime family experience that we will cherish forever.
From the very beginning, Peter, who took care of our entire itinerary, was absolutely outstanding. Communication was excellent: always fast, clear, warm and incredibly accommodating. He was extremely helpful during the planning phase, patiently answering all our questions and tailoring the trip to fit our family’s needs. Planning a safari with two young children can feel overwhelming, but Peter made it fun and structured. Throughout the entire journey we felt cared for, safe, and in excellent hands. The level of service and reliability was exceptional and offered tremendous value for money.
Our itinerary was perfectly balanced and well thought out: Amboseli → Lake Naivasha → Masai Mara → Lake Nakuru → Ol Pejeta. Each destination brought something unique, and the pacing worked well, especially important when traveling with two boys aged 5 and 9.
We were incredibly lucky to have James as our guide. He was simply exceptional! His knowledge is astonishing; not only about animals, but about nature, culture, geography, and pretty much everything our curious kids (and us adults!) asked. He explained things in such an engaging and accessible way.
James was also extremely mindful of traveling with children; patient, kind, and always attentive to their needs. He went out of his way on multiple occasions to make sure we had the best possible wildlife sightings, adjusting plans when needed and making the experience exciting and comfortable for all of us. His professionalism, service mindset, and genuine passion for what he does made a huge difference in our overall experience.
This journey gave our family moments of awe, laughter, connection, and pure joy. Seeing our children experience Africa’s wildlife with such wonder, guided by people who truly care, was priceless. It made us so sad to end this safari..!

Trip of a lifetime!!!
This was by far the most amazing trip we have been on!! From the first communication with this company and throughout the process they were prompt, friendly and so helpful. The tour exceeded our expectations and our guide Hamade was the absolute best!! He paid attention to every detail, made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the safari and was an expert at finding all the animals! The lodging at all locations were incredible and the staff were all so welcoming and friendly. They also put on a dreamy Vow Renewal Ceremony for us in the Serengeti that was more than we could have asked for. We will definitely be using this company again for our next safari.

The best week of our lives
Simply incredible from start to finish, our guide Kush has made this week the best one of our lives. We’ve seen every animal (and more) that we hoped for and had every single question answered along the way. Kush is so knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife and that made all the difference to our trip. The tour felt carefully planned with the animals welfare always a top consideration for Kush, which was important for us. The hotels we stayed in were all unique and beautiful and getting to visit 3 different parks meant we saw so many different animals and environments.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the 7-day private tour that we have had and if you end up with Kush, count yourselves VERY lucky.

Very high quality
I went on an individually designed trip of 6 days, and managed to visit 3 national parks, as well as the urban eco-park in Kigali and some other stops on the way, including Gashora swamp. It was my first time in Rwanda, and so, of the over 240 bird species I saw, almost all were new to me. My guide Alex was extremely knowledgeable both for identifying the birds and for explaining their behaviour. Extremely highly recommended!
