Dream Come True
5/5

Daniel helped us plan a fabulous trip to Kenya. He developed an itinerary based on our interests, time frame and budget. Our guide, Peter, was wonderful and worked hard to ensure we saw the animals and birds we were interested in, plus helped ensure we had good opportunities to photograph them. We came home with fabulous photographs and memories. The lodging was all very comfortable and each place was able to handle my food allergy. I cannot say enough about the people we met at each lodge. Their friendliness and caring made a great vacation special. We hope to take another trip with Transtrek Safaris.

My dream come true
5/5

The 3 day safari experience with Iyana was by far the best travel experience of my life. The ease of communication with my driver and the tour operators helped us feel supported and prepared before we even left. Every single detail of this experience went above and beyond my expectations. The safari experience itself was my dream come true, our driver, komora, went above and beyond to give us the most magical game drives and customized the experience to what we wanted at all times. The accommodations we stayed at were so clean, comfortable, and so much more luxurious than we expected for the price we paid. We especially loved the food and drinks at both hotels, it was one of the best breakfast and dinner buffets we have ever had! I seriously can’t think of a single complaint about this experience, it was truly a dream and I would recommend booking with this company to anyone who wants to do a safari.

Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
5/5

We had an absolutely perfect safari experience with African Big Cats. From the first interactions the team was highly responsive and tailored the itinerary to our preferences. They planned everything seamlessly and all the lodges we stayed in along the way, hand picked by them, were fantastic. Huge shoutout to our guide, Frank, whose deep knowledge and sparkling humor made even the earliest and longest of drives an absolute pleasure. We would recommend African Big Cats to anyone and hope one day to return!

Amazing Safari tour
5/5

We were a group of 8 people who traveled with Weroad. Idi, our driver, was impeccable. Very kind and friendly, excellent at driving, especially on the very bumpy roads of the Seregeti. He also speaks five languages, including Italian. Yusuf, our chef, was spectacular! He prepared fabulous meals for us for the picnic and also in the evening. He was very attentive to the needs of some of the girls with food intolerances. I recommend them both! They made our trip unforgettable.

Amazing holiday of a lifetime
5/5

We had the most incredible safari with Soul of Tanzania, and so much of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Walter.

From the moment we met him, Walter was warm, kind, professional and always punctual. He made us feel completely at ease, and his passion for the wildlife and the parks was obvious from day one. His knowledge was exceptional, and he explained the animals' behaviour in such an interesting and engaging way. Understanding what we were seeing made every game drive even more special.

Walter was also brilliant at communicating with the other guides, which meant we were always in the right place at the right time. Thanks to his expertise and teamwork, we had some truly unforgettable sightings. We saw lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, zebras and buffalo, and we were lucky enough to witness some incredible moments, including a leopard relaxing in a tree with its kill and a lioness with her young cubs. These are memories we'll treasure forever.

What really made the experience though was Walter himself. He has a fantastic sense of humour, making every game drive enjoyable, while always remaining respectful of the wildlife and focused on giving us the best possible experience. His enthusiasm was infectious, and it was clear how much he loves what he does.

A huge thank you also goes to Hugo, who organised every aspect of our trip. He was phenomenal from start to finish. He recommended some excellent accommodation that exceeded our expectations and was always available to answer any questions we had, no matter how small. We were a little apprehensive about flying from Kenya to Tanzania and crossing the border, but everything worked exactly as Hugo said it would and the whole process was completely seamless. His organisation and attention to detail were second to none, and he made the entire experience completely stress-free. Thanks to him, our honeymoon was everything we had hoped for and more.

If you're looking for a safari company that genuinely goes above and beyond, we couldn't recommend Soul of Tanzania highly enough. Walter and Hugo made the perfect team, and together they gave us a honeymoon we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you both for making it so unforgettable!

John Goodson and the whole company are the best, they give it their all.
5/5

John and Godson and the best Ndoto company I have ever had. They gave me the highest level of books. A good car. The best driver. John. Both eat and plenty of fruit. Kosher food and everything I wanted. John explained all the animals in a relaxed manner and found all the animals for us at the best value.

Personalized and fascinating experience with amazing itinerary and guide.
5/5

We were a family of four, the youngest of us being 19 years old, and went with Jocky Tours. We wanted a longer safari of 12 days, and together with Maadam Minneh, we planned a personalized trip.

We did Nairobi to Aberdare to Samburu to Nakuru to Masai Mara to Naivasha/Hells Gate to Amboseli to Tsavo east, and then they took us to Diani Beach where the safari ended.

The itinerary was excellent; it left room to adapt and breathe where necessary. If it weren't for this adaptability, we wouldn't have been able to see rhinos in Nakuru due to having poor luck in the only game drive planned. Luckily we could adapt and do a quick game drive the next morning and saw plenty of rhinos the next morning.

Now enters the star of the show, our guide Kikitu. If I had to describe him in a few words, it would be. Incredibly hardworking, funny, knowledgeable, and social.
This man literally knows everyone: all the staff in the hotels, all the other guides, all the national park workers, and everything, and they all like and love him. This often helped as they gave us tips on where animals were, helped us when needed, and plenty of other things.
He also explained to us a lot of things about the country. From the animals and the parks to the history, religion, and modern politics of the country. He always knew what to say and explain.

He also worked very many and long hours just to make our safari as good as possible. The game drives always delivered, the long car trips were always interesting and felt short (the car trips were lowkey sweet for catching up on sleep).

Masai Mara was the crown jewel for me. We had two unforgettable full-day game drives, and both were special, fresh, different, and constantly entertaining.

But it's also the most mainstream park, and while being both full of fauna and astonishingly beautiful, I also felt like it didn't show the whole picture of the natural beauty that Kenya offers

That's why for me Samburu and Tsavo East, being much less popular parks, were absolutely essential for the trip. Samburu for the multitude of animals only found there and Tsavo for the breathtaking red elephants and red earth.

Just as a final statement. Kikitu always went above and beyond in order for us to have the best experience possible, and there is nothing I could ask of a guide that he didn't deliver.
